She is one of the friendliest, sweetest dogs you could ever meet and has been to other groomers without ever having a bad experience. She usually enjoys going. This time was completely different. When I came back and asked how she was doing, I was told, "I don't know, I didn't touch her." That immediately concerned me. I could not even see my dog at first, and when I asked again, I was told she had been isolated because she was barking. When I finally saw her, she was in a small cage, shaking and clearly terrified. This is not normal behavior for her. As a dog owner, you know your dog, and something was clearly wrong. I calmly expressed that I did not appreciate how she was being handled and that something did not feel right. Later, instead of addressing my concerns, I received a message from the owner accusing me of being rude and telling me not to come back. I was not rude. I was concerned about my dog. I have taken her to multiple groomers, and she has never reacted like this. That alone tells me everything I need to know. I will never bring my dog back here and would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet's well being.

I was greeted by a nice handsome gentleman Rico. He gave me a couple of samples. He told me about the different foods they had, show me which one to give me girls. He was so genuine and thoughtful. But, today was different. Both tubs had visible dog hair all over the mats, inside the tubs, and even in the drains. Which clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. When I politely asked if the tubs were sanitized, I was told they were sprayed down. But when I asked for gloves to clean it myself, the staff member came over with a dismissive attitude. removed the drain piece, set it aside, and walked away without actually cleaning it. Cleanliness should be a basic expectation, right? Especially, at a self-wash facility. I was disappointed not just by the filth, but also by the way I was treated for asking. I ended up leaving without washing my dog, after driving all the way from Escondido and coordinating with my husband to meet me there. It was a waste of time and a really disappointing experience. In the past, other groomers would call me mid-appointment to say they couldn't finish the haircut because he bites, though they'd usually manage to bathe him. I don't know how Monica does it, but she handles him with incredible skill and care. He always comes out looking great--clean, shaved down from his belly to his booty, with neatly trimmed nails and a clean overall cut. We're so grateful she's able to do something we simply can't manage at home (we can bathe him but he bites us when we give him a haircut too). Monica is a true pro, and we highly recommend her. She usually fits us in within the same week and is super consistent--Panch is always in and out in about 1 to 1.5 hours. A total lifesaver!

They told me they could touch it up within 3 days for free and I asked what they could do and was told it's better I just grow it out. Disappointed that they didn't offer me a solution to how they could fix it and yet they are the "expert" and still charged me full price ... now my dog has a botched haircut. Definitely DO NOT go to them if you have a doodle/poodle. This is poor service and quality. Pictures say it all, you be the judge. I would pick my dog up and everything seemed fine. The last time I went to pick up my 7 month olds puppy from boarding, I parked my car and was walking by the fenced play area (which you can't see through). As I walked by, I could clearly hear my dog barking as she is young, just discovered her bark, and probably smelled me. As I walked by, I heard VERY CLEARLY (management) the staff in the yard say in a frustrated voice to one of the dogs (better not have been my dog) "shut the fuck up or im going to kick you". I was furious walking in to pick Kira up and asked the front desk who was out there with my dog stating RESPECTFULLY that if she was threatening my dog like that they needed to bring that staff member out so I could speak to her directly. Front desk said they would speak to her and get there manager. I stated that if she was speaking to my dog I WOULD be speaking with her. Speaking to the manager, he stated that that was out of character for the staff member and that sometimes people get frustrated working with dogs. I left after thanking the manager for hearing what I had to say but not feeling heard whatsoever. The manager texted me a day later not to follow up on that, but to follow up on training I had inquired on. I thoroughly expressed my concerns to him via text, and how concerned I was for the treatment of the animals in there care with these kinds of threats openly in ear shot of customers (what happens behind closed doors?). I never received a response and never received a follow up. That was now weeks ago. My question is, WHY WOULD I MAKE THAT UP? We never had any issues prior boarding our dog there or dropping off for day care, never complained before etc. This was a genuinely shocking experience and I was in disbelief. I would urge you to pick somewhere else. No animal deserves to be threatened like that, empty threat or not.

I've even had an employee write "We love him!" on my dog's cleaning bill. The only thing that really was frustrating is that they're usually quite booked out, which can sometimes be difficult. But I'm happy for them that they're booked and busy. Will only go elsewhere if I'm really in a time-rush, but I have no reason not to bring my baby here :)
