Very long story, and feel free to contact me if you would like all the gory and stomach, turning details, but essentially Tina lost her temper with our Chihuahua hit her hard when our Chihuahua was on the grooming board with the rope around her neck. This fractured, our Chihuahua's neck and some paralyzed her. I don't even wanna get into the terrifying details, but our Chihuahua died a slow and terrible death over the next five months due to a fractured neck. Trainer was very aware that she did this. I spoke with her after the incident. She was aware of what happened but refused to acknowledge it. After we took our Chihuahua to the vets and got accessories and confirmation that Tina had hurt her Chihuahua, which was proven by the photos and the extreme bruising and twisting and snapping of our Chihuahuas neck, I confronted Trina. She still denied everything. Extremely disgusting. When she was confronted with the facts, she got aggressive and confrontational. Do not trust her with any of your pets. She is a liar, violent towards pets, and a horrible, horrible person. I have never written a review of this negative and horrible for anybody. But that being said, I have never had anybody intentionally hurt in ultimately kill one of my pets. Stay away from Trina and any of her latest, so-called pet grooming businesses. She has a horrible and nasty person.

I have a long hair Snowshoe cat with matting and just too much fur to keep up with. In the past he has had to be sedated for his shaving and grooming because he gets so scared, but the last time he really struggled to go to sleep. The vet explained that it gets more and more risky each time they put them under general anesthesia, as they'll develop a tolerance for it and require more medication to sedate them fully. She gave me some gabapentin to give him before his next groom to help him respond to the sedation, so I decided to try the that medication alone and do a mobile groom. It worked like a charm and was quick and painless. I did have to give him the medication a full two hours ahead of time so it could take effect. I'm just so grateful we found a way to get him clean and healthy without risking sedation! Trina was a pleasure, professional and fast! I'm so grateful and will be booking his next groom with her soon!

But we are having guests visit and my husband insisted we get them professionally groomed just in case they wiggled and i gave them some visible gashes. So this grooming facility is right next to the barber my husband uses so I gave them a call as I needed to schedule something this week. Grace scheduled me an appointment. As usual, the boys were a nervous wreck and they knew i was up to no good as soon as I took them in the car without my husband. I struggled to get them to go into the facility but after losing their poopoo i got them in the door. The staff immediately removed a couple of dogs in sight and cleaned up their poopoo. (My husband had told them that the boys didn't like other dogs) I wasn't too excited about the fact that I was told they may be about 4-6 hours as they just take the grooming process easy. I filled out my paperwork and left. They ended up being there 6 hours but when I came to pick them up, they not only were groomed perfectly, but they didn't jump all over me like, "Please get me out of this place.". Usually when I take them to a groomer, they are begging me to pick them up and get them out while I am trying to pay. They were both glad to see me but didn't seem anxious at all. Amazing. So we were extremely happy with the experience and this will be their grooming stop when I just need nails or decide I need the day off for a professional groom or my hubby decides he wants to see a "professional look.". Lili and Diggy (Bernese Mountain Dogs between 110-120 lbs each) come back to us smelling and looking great after each groom. They spend at least 6 hrs there to enjoy their "spa day" every two months. They are excited to go and visit Grace and her team. Pick up/drop off is ok at the back entrance. Very experienced and capable staff who are known for grooming dogs with a history of challenging behavior and/or trauma. Check them out!

At my previous appointment, my dog was given severe razor burn on her belly. She was clearly in pain for about a week afterward. I brought photos of the injury and showed them to the staff at our most recent visit because I wanted to make sure it wouldn't happen again. The grooming service is supposed to take about an hour. When I hadn't received a call after an hour, I went to pick up my dogs. When I arrived, one of my dogs was still on the grooming table with what appeared to be a new employee being trained. She seemed unsure of what she was doing, and my dog was visibly stressed. At that point, I asked them to stop the groom and finish as-is because I wasn't comfortable continuing. I paid about $200, including a tip, and left. Once I got home, I realized one dog's nails hadn't been trimmed, her haircut was uneven, and the style didn't resemble the reference photos I had provided. I ended up trimming her nails and fixing her haircut myself. I also found a fresh nick under her chin that wasn't there before. I was charged $75 per dog, and for that price I expected a safe, complete, and professional grooming experience. Instead, I left with an incomplete groom, an injured dog, and had to finish the work myself at home. I understand that everyone has to train new groomers, but training should be closely supervised and customers should be informed if someone inexperienced will be working on their pet. Most importantly, the quality of care and the safety of the animals should never be compromised.

Even with his temperamental 'tude, everyone at Sonoran Pawz is so great with him. When we arrive, they all are excited to see his smush face despite his history of cries and screams.
