One bathroom for everyone to use, tucked away inside a small hallway near the communal table. Most of their drinks were iced but they accommodated us on a cold night by making hot teas for us. The space is clean but not too inviting. Not sure what's missing in the decor but lacked the inviting cozy feeling for me. They close at 9 pm so if you plan to sit with your friends beyone 9 pm, be sure to find a place that stays open later. read more

The good: I like how all of the drinks had customizable sweetness. Usually, 25% is the lowest option but here you can do 0. I got a watermelon chamoy and a watermelon mousse drink in 25% sweetness. I'm happy there's finally a Vietnamese coffee spot that isn't all the way in Westminster and is more accessible for South Bay folks. They open at 7:30 am so it's also a great option for early risers. The bad: The watermelon mousse drink didn't have enough of the mousse component. I haven't tried their coffee yet. This is a good place for hangouts, maybe studying/working when they aren't as busy. They have a good amount of hot and cold drink options, including slushy type drinks, coffee, and boba tea. Prices are fair; I didn't notice anything over $8. Definitely give their Strawberry Mousse a try! It's tangy and refreshing - perfect for summer. DOL in Gardena recently opened a couple months ago and is serving a variety of coffee and boba drinks, specializing in Vietnamese coffee. The interior is spacious and nicely decorated, making it a really nice study and hangout spot. There are plenty of tables and seats available but limited outlets. There is a good amount of parking in the plaza. I tried their banana coffee and roasted oolong milk tea and both were really good. I loved their roasted oolong the most because the tea was strong with a good amount of sweetness at 50%. It is also made with nondairy creamer so it's good for those who are lactose intolerant. The banana coffee is an ice blended drink and they use a fresh banana so it has a real banana taste and a strong taste of coffee which was pretty tasty together. Overall I had a great experience here and enjoyed their coffee and tea! I would come back to try their Vietnamese coffee and add this to my list of study spots in Gardena! UPDATE: Came back and tried their Strawberry matcha and Matcha Coffee. - Strawberry matcha: strawberry jam is on the sweeter side but blends well with the matcha which isn't super rich but still tastes good - Matcha Coffee: this was a Vietnamese coffee with a matcha foam top. The Vietnamese coffee was strong which I liked but too sweet for me. I liked the matcha foam a lot though since it had a good matcha flavor and was subtly sweet. I've been coming to DOL Coffee in Gardena to study and get work done, and it's become one of my favorite spots. The space is busy but never overwhelmingly loud, so it's easy to focus while still enjoying the energy around you. They have plenty of tables and outlets, which is a huge plus for anyone working on their laptop or studying. Now, the coffee!! AMAZING! My absolute favorite is the Creamy Coffee. It's rich, smooth, and honestly one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had. It keeps me coming back again and again. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the staff vibe. They're efficient and get the job done, but a little more warmth and friendliness (even just a smile!) would go a long way in making the experience even better. I was literally jumping for joy in my head after I read the menu and found out this was a Vietnamese Coffee Shop! My friend & I made the choice to stop by here before our Stray Kids concert in Inglewood. This was the perfect spot to relax for a bit and enjoy a delicious afternoon coffee. Many other coffee places tend to close around 3-4pm so we were very happy to read that DOL Coffee House was open until 9pm (Sunday). They had such a good array of drinks, that I struggled deciding what to get. I ended up thinking I'd go with their Ca Phe Chuoi aka Banana Coffee until I heard the description (the banana is more of a smoothie texture)... And texture is a big thing for me, so I switched last minute. And I'm so glad the worker was really kind and understanding about that! Oh, and you can choose the sweetness level on your drinks-- simiar to a boba shop (they actually have boba in the signage outside). They not only have iced coffee drinks, hot coffee, fruit tea, matcha, milk tea, and add-ons options. The prices for the drinks are pretty good as well. I decided to get the Ca Phe Trung aka the Iced Vietnamese Egg Coffee. I got regular sweetness, as it is adjustable but I wouldn't change it without knowing how their Vietnamese Coffee tastes first. The egg yolk is typically whipped with either sugar or sweetened condensed milk until it's pale and fluffy. I know some people are iffy about the egg, but I swear it's really good. And not as "odd" as you may think! (as in tiramisu also uses egg yolks and you don't even bake tiramisu lol!) For DOL Coffee House, I do think that their egg cream was on the thicker side-- similarly to a frosting consistency. Which made it very hard to sip so sadly I had to use the straw. This made it a tad difficult to enjoy both flavor profiles of the sweet custard like cream and bold Vietnamese dripped coffee in one sip. I did enjoy the cocoa powder on top of the egg cream, it tasted so lush! The flavor of the coffee was really rich and strong and I LOVED how they used small/crushed ice bits!! That's how you're supposed to do it for Vietnamese iced coffee. Anyways, my friend ordered the Ca Phe Muoi aka Iced Vietamese Coffee with Salted Cream. He really enjoyed it...so much he drank it down before I could even get half way with my drink. I believe he mixed it together and really liked the flavor of the coffee with the salt. On it's own the salted cream packed a punch, but it was nicely balanced when together. He said next time, he would ask for no cocoa powder because he didn't enjoy that part on top. The workers are really kind, efficient, and patient! The space is clean and organized. They do not accept cash btw! The interior space is so large and spacious. I feel like they could have even more seating if they ever wished to add more. The AC was on, yay! I love the little bunnies placed in the corner by the rocks. They even had non la stacked up too.. The decor is simple, but tasteful as it has small references to Vietnamese Culture. I for sure, will be coming back if I am ever in the area again! I found out about DOL Coffee House via social media earlier this year. My friend & I stopped by on Sunday for some caffeine to start our long day. This coffee house is located in a small plaza with a private parking lot. We arrived around 11am and it wasn't too busy. The shop is bright and spacious with lots of seating, and it was decorated very cutely for the holidays. The staff were nice and we got our drinks quickly after ordering. I ordered the Cà Phê Chuối (Banana Coffee) at 50% sweetness. It's like a banana smoothie with espresso. The banana mixture was perfectly sweet and it paired well with the coffee. Tons of outlets are available too, which makes it super convenient for long study sessions. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with just enough background buzz to keep you focused. I ordered the Cà Phê Muối (Salted Mousse Coffee) and it was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with that sweet-salty topping. We also got the Jasmine Green Milk Tea, which had a really clean floral flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. The drinks are high quality, and you can tell they put thought into their menu. Prices are pretty average for a specialty café, especially given the quality and the space you're getting. If you're looking for a top-tier place to study or work, this place is it. Super happy I no longer have to go to the OC for my egg coffee! I always come here for the Vietnamese Egg Coffee, with half sugar. Usually comes iced but you can also get it hot here. Nice strong Vietnamese coffee topped with that tasty egg cream on the top. The Marble Coffee is also very good, but suggest going with less sugar too. The drinks do cost more than OC spots but I'll call it the South Bay tax. There's also milk tea, smoothies, and boba here but I've yet to try, cause really, I come here for the coffees. Love this coffee spot! I've tried the matcha coffee, banana coffee, mango green tea and lychee green tea, but I always go back to the matcha coffee as it's the best in my opinion. The matcha cream topping is so good and perfectly balances the delicious coffee. The banana coffee had a nice flavour, but I didn't like the slushy texture as it was too thick.
