Inside we saw it was clean and new...great design. We sat at the bar and met, Geo, our bartender. As we arrived early, 5:00 pm, he had time to connect with us ... this is why we like sitting at the bar! His drinks were excellent! For appetizers, we ordered (1) calamari which was perfectly cooked (not rubbery) and had a delicious sweet and slightly hot sauce; (2) pork dumplings..perfect and (3) 6 oysters on the half shell ..very fresh and tasty! We were filling up fast but still had room for two sushi rolls which, again, were delicious! Just looking at the dessert menu filled us up! The venue is on A1A, right by St Augustine Beach. This was our first time there. They serve food but we had dinner beforehand, so we only had drinks. It's a nice little venue though. The show itself was awesome and Mick was so nice to meet afterwards! Why am I giving a 5 star review when we didn't even try their food? I'm at fortunate to know a few people that many would consider to be famous in the world of music. I have tagged along with them when they've done meet & greets at venues of various sizes from hundreds of fans to thousands of fans. Many, MANY venues handle these things very poorly. It ends up leaving fans feel as if the artist doesn't care about them when it's actual the venue that is unprepared and/or is treating the fans that dirt. That was absolutley NOT the case at Cafe Eleven. Every person we encountered from the staff seemed genuinely concerned with making sure the fans had a good experience. For us, this started a week prior when they took the time to email us to double check something about our order because our order was a bit odd. My wife paid for part of the order and our friends paid for the other half. The venue actually took the time to reach out to make sure we knew everything needed to match up. We did know that ahead of time but the fact that they even bothered was a touch I don't think I've ever heard of another venue taking the time to do. Well done Cafe Eleven! Based on that alone, I wouldn't think twice about driving down from Jacksonville next time there's an event at Cafe Eleven that I'm interested in.

Not as charred as I would prefer but ok. The puffed pastry escargot was pretty good. Never seen it done in 1 large pastry shell. Finished with the duck with rice, peas and carrots. The duck could have had a crispier skin.
