Especially the one behind the counter. She was a major hoot that we all got a laugh with. It makes the shopping experience way better. It's broken down into two different sides. The main being where there cashier is and the women's department. They also have a pretty massive selection with accessories, jewelry and shoes. Plus shoes were half off. The other section house more of the home wares stuff, trinkets, glassware, furniture, babies and men's. There were loads of dish ware. Its nice to see that the place was very neat and organized which is also a major plus when browsing through. Makes it more easy to pick something up without having to dig through piles. It's hard to say that about every (or any for that matter) commercial retail business. They have just about everything you could need for sports, hobbies, little league, etc., and the selection is solid across the board. I've also brought my bike in for a couple of tune-ups and have had nothing but great experiences each time. I really enjoy the investment in the community that SB does. They have pickleball courts and pool tables on the third floor that are open for community use, and they regularly host events across their locations, which is pretty rad. Overall, Sports Basement gets my business every time over other major sporting goods stores. Great people, great vibes, and a strong sense of community.

They have a large variety of food items but I have not purchased except for an occasional snack. The store is clean and orderly. The staff is efficient and pleasant. But it was very stocked and organized. Prices ranged from $1.25 to the more common $1.75, and some specialty items reaching $4.75. Like others, there were overpriced frozen food and bagged snack items, but this store had quite a few perishable food items...so the product turnover here must be quite good. It even had a working self price check scanner, which worked (since no item was priced, instead depending on the price on the shelf where the item came from). Alas, there was no 'can't believe I found this' items at this store, but we still ended up buying quite a few things. Lines were long, but kept moving and everyone was pleasant and helpful.

They restock on Thursday and Friday - everything from tools and car and motorcycle parts (we've purchased a bunch of this stuff but you have to know what you're looking for) to cheapo party decorations. Each day the price for anything you find in the bins goes down. Starts at $9 on Thursday, and by the next Wednesday, whatever is left is 50 cents. I've gotten everything from a decent pair of padded Nike shorts (for $4) to a bottle of Magnesium gummies (which I take daily) for 50 cents. After an hour, I had some party decor, a adhesive wall paper roll, shower steamers, and small drawstring gift bags. My GF picked up a double walled tumbler, 6pk of backup reading glasses, inflatable mini bed, 4 pk Ticonderoga pencils, and car window shades. It was worth noting that although the majority was of no interest, there were people with dozens of items in their cart. To each their own. I saw lots of party decor, disposable plates, makeup, cell phone accessories, home decor, misc craft, seasonal, etc. Few name brands, such as Sharpies and Ticonderoga, mostly generic Amazon goods made in China. All of the items come bought as mystery pallets from Amazon & the store is restocked on Thurs and Friday. Pricing is the most expensive on the restock days and I can't even fathom what's left by $0.50 Weds! Will be back to treasure hunt again! Highly recommend if the overconsumption doesn't bother you & you have the patience to go through the items.
