Kathy should not be working here. 6/14/2026 at 8:35AM. I came into dollar tree before work to grab some hygiene products. (I always come here, it WAS my favorite dollar tree) And while I was waiting in line behind a lady and her daughter, Kathy starts being very rude and disrespectful, arguing with the customer, rolling her eyes & scoffing, because the lady had pressed the "cash back" option. There was No sign that said no cash back, nor did any one tell the lady in front of me they didn't have change in their register. Instead of just talking to the customer and letting her know they had just opened and didn't have the cash yet, she started arguing with the lady and blaming her for pressing the cash back option. Then blamed cooperate and continued her attitude towards the lady. In my opinion the lady was very kind, she stood her ground and said that Kathy's hostility towards her was uncalled for because how was she to know cash back would be an issue when it's an option on the screen. At the end the lady grabbed her things, clearly upset, and Kathy did not acknowledge her nor apologize which was heavily due. If I wasn't late to work I would have gone somewhere else. This is not the first time this has happened at this store unfortunately, Kathy is an issue and very rude. I won't be coming back to this store and I hope the lady that was in front of me dealing with her doesn't either. read more

This location actually had multiple registers/lanes open which was new to me since every other dollar tree location I've gone to only has one register open which slows things down. They had tons of Valentine's Day stuff available - Candy, decorations, and all! They also had some St. Patrick's day stuff up also! I was able to find what I needed which is nice but i noticed it would be a bit cheaper to go to my local Walmart for the particular item. I normally go to dollar tree to find stickers to use with my stationery but couldn't find any good ones, so that was a bummer. It was mostly school related stickers for teachers and the classroom. read more

This review is for the employees who have to put up with so much. The cashiers are so kind and helpful. They are always friendly. When I visited today, they had to deal with a customer walking out with product. They were calm when he said "he would come back and pay". Yea sure. They didn't escalate. They kept things calm. It has to be be so insulting to witness this behavior. The goods sold are not expensive, and to have people just walk out with them... just really a sad take. The cashier I had - when serving the customer in from of me - literally ran across the store to help a customer get a key benefit of maybe 1 dollar. I bought no more than 9 dollars of product including one balloon, and he ensured it was properly tied up and easy to get in my car. This is above and beyond my expectations. I don't often shop there because they are not unionized, but I hope one day they can be. These employees really work hard for an employer that doesn't reward them. This was my first time at this dollar store location and I was a bit disappointed. This location is HUGE compared to the other dollar store locations around Placer County. I notice a lot of the shelves were empty and many things out of stock but I saw an employee stocking up inventory while I was there so I didn't mind. If you have that plastic-free / eco-friendly mindset, it's going to be tough. I just got canned items since majority of their selection involves plastic packaging / things not great for the environment. I went in the morning so it was slow with one register lane opened. One of the cashiers said something to me that could have been said in a nicer way, lowkey felt like a kicked puppy after that interaction. read more

This place is horrible. Everyone was rude asf!!! My dog had an accident and I ask for paper towels to clean it MYSELF bc I forgot her bags and they were straight up talking shit saying "I'm not gonna be the one cleaning that" no one asked you. Then they have NOTHING they have everything in boxes and when you ask for some they just say they don't have it !! I will never shop here again. The one in Lincoln is 10x better. read more

Is this location going out of business??? Went there to get 4 every day Dollar Tree items and left because they were all out. Went down the food Isle and 90% of it un stocked. Candy isle is the same. Other isles 50% stocked. Went to another Dollar Tree Store that was over stocked and I asked if this specific Harding Dollar Tree store was going out of business. I came here for balloons. The lines were super long. I proceed to pick out my own balloons and stood in line. The whole time the cashier guy saw me do all this and never said anything. Once I got in front of him he then tells me there's no helium since yesterday! There wasn't even a sign that said that! They must be closing this store location. 75% of all shelves were empty. Not many people shopping, nothing to buy. What's the deal??? This used to be a fully stocked store. As I entered the store and began to shop, the first thing I noticed were the dirty floors and filled with debris. Upon completion I stood at the register for quite some time, there were five more customers waiting behind me. The cashier was helping a customer with the balloons. I asked if he would call another cashier. He replied, "I'm the only one here". Several minutes later the cashier returned. Would give this place a zero star if I could. Rude employees. No one greets you they just stare. Messy and unorganized store. SARA who was the cashier was rude. I bought a few things that needed newspaper wrapping and she quote on quote said "feel free to wrap it yourself". Then she proceeded to shove my items into a box. Mind you they are fragile. Live near by so I like to Ride my bike to do my shopping. Bring my bike inside and was asked very rudely that I can I have my bike inside. This place is in an area that you do not want to leave your bike out (especially when you have close to $2k into it)because it will probably be stolen and it does not even have a place to lock your bike. So after she told me I could not have my bike inside I asked her for some help and she brushed me off. The worst thing about it is I believe she was the manager of the store. read more

Cleanest, most organized, dollar tree I've ever been in. Would consider driving from Sacramento to Roseville just for this store.

I just left dollar tree with my mom and the cashier who rung us up was completely ignorant. She asked the other cashier for paper, to blow her nose. The lady blew her nose and even said "I don't even want to wear this mask", proceeded to keep rubbing her nose with her hands and she didn't even use any disinfectant spray or hand sanitizer after she was done. I wanted to speak up but it was too late, she was already touching all of our items. Pandemic or not, YOU NEED TO wash or disinfect your hands after blowing your nose, especially when you're cashiering. P.S. Kind of a grungy store but hey... it's dollar tree. Always a great spot to pick up a birthday card, Mother's Day card, etc. don't forget a balloon!! It's all $1 lots of good candies to take with you to a movie as well. Things are a bit disorganized in some sections of the store. This place is OK. I've been to my share of dollar trees. This dollar tree is located in a semi-sketch part of Roseville but I needed to stop by and grab a particular item (which we found). Clean, well organized, plenty of parking, lots of items in stock. BUT only 1 cashier. What the heck? Such a big store and there was only one cashier at the register. Blah. Best dollar tree around! . It's huge, so they have plenty of room for products. I was looking for a certain candle for a baby shower, and all the other stores (Lincoln, Antelope, & Sac ) all had max 5 on the shelve, whereas this store had 23! The workers are very friendly. I also have gotten balloons here for two parties I threw, and they have lasted over 46 hours! I ordered a group of balloons from Party City, and even with the "longer lasting" extra cost helium, they were on the floor not even 12 hours later! I will always come here for balloons in the future. read more

If I can write this Dollar Store I would give it a zero and not one starve but unfortunately it makes you choose at least one star I was at the dollar store today and I had some ladies tell me that the computer was down as the other line was at least 20 people long with tons of people with a lot of stuff they have the manager another girl that supposedly was off the clock and the girl that was just standing at the register doing nothing but staring at the computer why does it take three people to do a computer? I did ask if they can switch to another register and help all the other people because I'm waiting for this register to open up there's a whole another line behind me and another line another register she didn't even bother to tell them that her register was down and that it was going to be a while she let me know that but nobody else knew behind me so I let the lady know she then started talking over me being super rude and I heard them Whispering about me about how I'm waiting and now that's my problem in my fault extremely disrespectful to be as old as them to have that much disrespect maybe you guys should train your employees about harassment and how to treat their customers and maybe open up more people on registers I will never come back to this location there are so many other locations I have way better customer service and more lines open and also if you have someone off the clock they should probably take their shirt off so that we don't see that they work there people are thinking she's just standing there doing nothing you should probably tell her to go home read more

Don't go in the bathroom! It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The sink and both toilets were filthy. The floor was sticky with urine and who knows what else. See my pictures above. When I complained to the Sunday supervisor, she said it wasn't her responsibility, but she would tell the manager. This being the only bathroom I saw, I can't imagine the manager doesn't already know how bad it is. The employee break room was just as dirty, so the employees don't take responsibility any more seriously than the management. Disgusting! read more

I was a big fan of the Dollar Tree on Harding Blvd in Roseville, CA. However, yesterday I was treated so poorly as a customer that I will never return. Did you know they don't allow you to take the carts outside no matter how full they are!? I am disabled and lost my cane on Mother's Day so I am relying on shopping carts more. Since no "pole less" carts were available I had to wait while my daughter brought my car to the front door to load it! I had to stand in the electronic doorway to keep it from closing. All this while the store manager, Tatiana stared me down and trust me I stared right back. I spent over $75, which is a lot of items! Regardless, the manager, Tatiana was not accommodating and ended up being very rude! I had a situation with a cashier needing to get around me twice, causing me to move while unloading my cart and I had to move out of her way again while getting money out of my purse to pay. She was eating while saying she needed to clock in. This caused the manager, Tatiana to say out loud, "I was rude. And then she said, "That's the thanks we get for putting our lives in harms way to be here!" No employees were wearing masks so how concerned are they about COVID-19 and being in harms way!? After 20 years of shopping at this Dollar Tree I will not return! Thankfully there are so many other stores than the one on Harding Blvd in Roseville, CA. I give this store two thumbs down! It's sad too because the cashier, Liz, was very nice and apologetic! read more

Just left the store-horrible experience. At least 10 people not wearing masks which was awful especially since the store was crowded. I approached the clerk at the register who could not have been ruder. I asked her if she could please alert a manager or someone to announce that people should be wearing masks. I waited while she hemmed and hawed and I left the area and waited for the announcement. About 5 minutes later she announced "hello, thank you for shopping at Dollar Tree. Please keep social distance. Thank you and have a nice day". NOTHING about wearing masks. I will not be returning to this store. read more

Dollar Tree is my goto place if I am having a party. You can get the same plates, cups, napkins and decorations as some of the big named party stores, except here they are only $1 compared to $5 and up. Prime example I'm hosting a Halloween party for 15 kids and I went to Dollar Tree and got everything I needed (except for food) for $25! I would have spent $100+ someplace else. read more

I am always in this dollar tree because I work down the street. Today was just horrible! First there was one cashier and a line of about 15 people. The young girl called for backup and it took everyone a good 5 minutes to come out. No big deal I don't mind waiting but then I realize I forgot to grab line paper and I didn't want to step out of the line so when I got up to the register I asked the young girl to ring me up for line paper she told me she couldn't just ring me up like that so I said that's ok I'm just going to go grab it then. She said exactly like this with her little young attitude "well I have a long line!!". Well little girl I can obviously see that considering I didn't want to step out of line to grab the paper to then be person number 20 in line so obviously! She was just rude and rolled her eyes she just overall had an attitude. Now I work with customer service and if I was to do that ha there wouldn't be a job for me left! Note to the managers of this Dollar Tree Store on Harding Blvd.: this young girl needs to be pulled aside and talked to about her attitude to guests.
