DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I scheduled a pickup from a friend's home of two items, to be delivered to my house. The morning of the delivery I get a text message from the movers/helpers that they can't find my friend's home & to please call them, but the last two numbers of the telephone number they say to call are jumbled so I can't call them back. They do not call me a second time. So I call Customer Service, give the rep my order number, & he quotes me the wrong address for pickup. I say "no, its XXX Drive" & he says "Oh, okay" & says he'll call the movers & will call me back. He never calls me back. I wait a half hour, try to call him again & get a message that number is no longer a valid number. I wait another hour. Its clear no one is coming. I go home and double check my order online. The address is correct. But the little map they include on the order confirmation shows the pickup point to be at the wrong address quoted to me by customer service, so clearly the dispatcher goofed. Then over the course of the next few hours I put in FOUR different requests to Customer Service via their online form to please call me & I don't get even ONE response. Its a day later now. NO CALL BACK from the Company. They do not provide any telephone number online so you can call & speak with someone directly, only an online request form. In the meantime they went ahead & CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD for a service that never happened due to their own F up, & they even had the gall to send me a notice that I hadn't tipped the mover/helpers. APPARENTLY THIS COMPANY IS SOME KIND OF A SCAM, OR SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE FIRED. read more

Dolly was amazing, Paul was the best mover ever, and we got everything done in record time. He was also creative when the loading zone I had booked outside my building was annoyingly still occupied by earlier movers running late. I will highly recommend this to friends and in fact I already have! My only feedback would be on the app side of things. It's a new startup and a clunky app - it was hard / a little buggy to make changes or adjustments later to an earlier reservation (if your amount of boxes and suitcases changes, or you add on new destinations or new furniture, for example) but it worked out great in the end. Any time you make any change, you have to scroll through all the pages of the app and resubmit your whole request. I would suggest Dolly list a basic explanation of pricing so that we better understand why moving 20 boxes was so cheap but moving an additional couch might double your price quote. It probably makes sense coming from the moving industry but I'd love to understand it before/during/while booking so it helps me know whether to sell, consign or move furniture going through a move. read more

Contacted Dolly on very short notice and requested two helpers. Dolly reported back quickly that they were unable to find two men on such short notice, but asked if I could manage with one. I agreed and within 2 hours from my original request my helper, Charlie, a recent college graduate, showed up. A tall, strapping and extremely polite young man. Charlie and I got stuck trying to move a huge and heavy electric double recliner couch along with a heavy, heavy , bed out of one small apartment and up 3 floors (fortunately on a freight elevator) to another apartment. Getting through the front door of the new apartment was a real bear, due to the tight hallway, but Charlie stuck with it and we eventually were able to maneuver the "beast" into the apartment. Clinton & Kaitlin were a super team today. They efficiently loaded Clinton's truck and trailer and took it to Bow Lake Transfer Station, where the 3 of us recycled as much as possible. This is a great improvement over just a few years ago when workers did it all and everything went to the landfill. Just before Dolly arrived, Salvation Army took several large, heavy items so Clinton reduced my bill. The Dolly bill was $384, far less than I would have paid with some of the competition. The transfer center weighs the vehicle went you enter and exit, then you pay by the weight of stuff you leave there, in my case it was $176. Patrick arrived right on time and had his helper Eric with him. I was scared that all my furniture wasn't going to fit in his truck and had to do two trips, but they made it work! I rode along to my new place and Patrick and I had a very nice chat! We got to my new condo and they unloaded the truck so quickly, it was like magic! They unloaded a queen mattress, a box spring, a huge dresser that my sister and I couldn't even lift, the mirror that goes with it, and a bedside table! Great customer service from even before I put in the request for a Dolly. I had some questions regarding type of truck and if I could ride with the helper and I got a response via email almost immediately. My Dolly helper (Azhari) was on time and got the job done. He was considerate and careful when entering my home. The app is really easy to use and provides good updates and communication with the helper. It's also easy to update or modify the request if needed. This is a quick and easy way of getting help at my convenience (as opposed to asking friends for help in which case it would be at their convenience). Would definitely use Dolly again! read more

We wanted to re-arrange some rooms in our house, to use the "formal dining room" for an office. We were stumped as to how to move the every heavy computer desk and china cabinet until someone on a community Facebook group told me about Dolly. I contacted them immediately and set up an appt for a couple days later. Paul and Shane were punctual and professional. They got the job done. Considering how HEAVY the 4 pieces of furniture were that we asked them to move (including bringing a bookcase down a flight of stairs), the price seemed more than reasonable. - We certainly could not have done the re-arranging without them! read more

Wow! Found a sleeper sofa at Costco and had no way to move it. Then a friend told me about Dolly.com. Ordered it last night at 6:00pm for 10:30am the next morning. They met me at Costco, unboxed it so left the cardboard there and delivered it to my home. Unwrapped, put on the legs and set everything up. I left my house at 10:00am and at 11:15am am sitting on my new sleeper sofa in my office. I ordered two guys which was good as sleeper sofas are heavy. Just had I great moving experience! Used the dolly app which is like Uber for furniture or anything else you need moved. Get the app and check it out! My helpers Patrick and Jeff were courteous and knowledgable. Professionally Packed the furniture, delivered unpacked and assembled everything, took their time to assure no damage. I will happily use them again. You log in tell them pick and delivery locations describe the freight being moved and how many helpers you need. Set the time and You get a firm quote. Roy's truck is a covered professional commercial vehicle. Roy and his helper John were on time, efficient and professional. They did a fabulous job and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Roy and John were also very helpful, cheerful, friendly and really nice guys. Dolly is the best service I have ever had experienced. They kept me posted through text message and they were on time for the delivery. They both had a great attitude and was fun to talk to. When we got the sectional in the house it didn't really look good in the spot so the moved it around and found the perfect spot for it. My front room looks awasome. I will use this service again. What a great experience! I downloaded the app and had a pickup and delivery scheduled in about an hour. Everything went according to plan. The driver was very friendly and quickly responded to my messages. He coordinated with the owners of the item I was purchasing for the pick up. He then showed up at my house a short time later and I help him unload. I was alerted via text message throughout so I knew where he was and what was happening. An incredible value. Dolly was fast, convenient, and fairly seamless to use for a first timer. Helpers, Loren and Kevin, were very professional and courteous. Great communication too. There was a small snafu with access to the pickup location that I did not forsee. Loren and Kevin handled the extra challenge perfectly and with great attitudes. These guys were professional, on time, and efficient. For someone like me who is disabled (can't drive) and without any loved ones with an appropriate vehicle, this service opens up so many possibilities. Because of them I was able to score some furniture from my mom that I never would have been able to afford on my own. They even changed the schedule for me at the last minute, so my mom could be there when they showed up to get the items. Highly recommended! read more

Dolly offers an amazing service. I purchased a large leather sectional on Craigslist but had no way to get it home. For a very reasonable price I had it picked up and delivered to my house without having to lift a finger. The couch was wrapped in plastic and moving blankets upon arrival so it would not get damaged in the move. They set it up in the room for me and made sure I was happy with the location before they left. I will definitely use them again! read more

I booked a car and helper about 5 hours before I got off work and immediately got a response back with a helper. He was right on time and came prepared to even put the box spring on his cars roof. We used 'Joel G.' and helper 'Shewit G.' to move our belongings out of our apartment and pack them into moving containers. They were prompt, fast, and efficient. They did a really great job in packing our containers. Nothing shifted or got banged around, nothing broke or was damaged even though it was a multi-state move. So great job! Plus, the cost is certainly WAY better than most 'movers' - even with giving a good tip for great service. read more

I was buying a new large dresser from Costco that was too big to fit in my vehicle so I arranged for Dolly. They showed up right on time with a truck easily large enough to fit my item. The main helper, Carlos F, and the assistant helper, Daniel, were very professional, reliable, courteous, amiable, and friendly! I imagine they both have a good sense of humor!
