Not someone who normally writes reviews but our plumber Jose and Domco in general were amazing. I called them Friday morning about a leak in my ceiling which for any home owner makes you worry and want it fixed ASAP. They were booked until 1pm that afternoon, but Jose called early and arrived around 10:15am. He was prompt, kept things clean and gave a clear explanation of everything he was doing and the cost of everything. And Domco even had a drywall guy they recommended which in the past other plumbers didn't have anyone to recommend. Definitely will be my go to plumbers for anything we need. read more

The previous plumber sent by my home warranty company had installed a cheap seal that didn't really work. They fixed it in just a few minutes, even though I have an unusual brand of toilet. Our hot water heater started failing, water all over the garage floor, and of course it was on a Saturday. I left messages at 3 places with no call back, Domco was my 4th call and I actually talked with a real person. She told me they would do their best to come out in the afternoon, but for sure first thing Sunday morning. Within 2 hours their truck was coming down the driveway. Sean and Sauce evaluated the situation and gave us 2 quotes, one for a new water heater the other for a new tankless unit. Once we decided they said they'd be back first thing Monday. We had a sewer ejector pump that stopped working on a Sunday afternoon. I called Domco Plumbing and they were able to come out first thing Monday morning. Miguel discovered a weep hole had not been installed on the pump a different company had installed. The issue was resolved promptly. Miguel is a great representative for Domco. We had a sewage line problem and Eric was the original technician. He tried very hard to fix it, but did not have the proper tools. Justin returned the next day and was able to clear the line. Huge relief for us. I want to give a "shout out" to both of them. They both worked very hard to clear the line. The main problem was that they were unable to find the "clean out" on the outside of the house and had to go through a bathroom toilet. The builder of the house probably accidentally buried it during construction. Thanks again to both of them. read more

Called because our kitchen disposal was leaking and two bathroom sink drain stoppers had come unattached from handle. They came out in under three hours, fixed all three problems within an hour and only charged us for the disposal replacement. I can't say enough great things about Domco. As a f/u to my review from 2016, the time finally arrived and our hot water heater stopped working. I called today a bit past 6:30am and they had a technician onsite before noon. I was expecting (the now 25 year-old-unit) died ... but I was told after inspection that the "thermocouple" stopped working. $168 total for the service call and repair and the old unit is back up and running. In fairness it may die later this week, next month or next year... but when it does, Domco will be the company that gets my business to replace it. Quick response, great communication and amazing service by Alex and Sean at Domco. They fixed a broken pipe in our backyard and a leaky toilet. A part for the older toilet had to be ordered and they said it would be in by Thursday. I was pleasantly surprised when they called me on Wednesday and had the part. They even remembered we had guests coming on Thursday and that we hoped to have the toilet fixed by then. They were able to came out and install the part right away. Worst experience ever! Lies after lies and no show to scheduled appointments. Was scheduled, followed up for status and was told I was next up only to find out in another call two hours later that the parts are still on back order. PJ Plumbing is my go-to plumber. BUT because he does stellar work, he is often booked out a week or two. So, when I had an urgent can-not-wait issue it was DOMCO Plumbing to the rescue (thanks to Peter's generous referral). My experience with Domco was great from top to bottom. They sent Quentin within 20 minutes of my call. He quickly diagnosed the issue (not near as bad as I feared!) and fixed it - in a total of about 15 minutes! Domco was amazing from beginning to end. It all started with Clarence who gave us the estimate. He was very professional. The team that worked on our pipes were Sean, Jody, Alfredo and Daniel. They were professional, courteous, friendly, and extremely hardworking. We had to have all our pipes replaced to due a leak and faulty pipes that were installed when the house was built. The team had to endure hours of working in our attic during the hot July days. They remained positive and helpful the whole time. This team and all the people we dealt with at Domco was very knowledgeable. They kept us informed and explained each step along the way to us. The office staff were extremely professional, and the plumber that they sent out was really helpful with a problem we had caused for one of our customers. The Domco team made it very easy to coordinate everything with our customer, and was able to respond and resolve the issue the same day, at a very reasonable price. We were able to talk to a person on our first call, they responded to our crisis the same day and handled our customer well - it's tough dealing with a 3rd party. We had a leaky shower that needed service, so we called Domco Plumbing. Scheduling the service appointment was quick and easy, and done by a very friendly customer service representative. Shawn and Jody (plumbers) of Domoco Plumbing called 30 minutes before arriving to our home. When Shawn and Jody arrived, they immediately warmly greeted us and put on their shoe booties without asking, which we greatly appreciated since we just had our carpet cleaned the prior weekend by Roger at www.carpetcleaningsteam.com. Shawn and Jody investigated our shower leak and they patiently explained the issue as well as showed us the worn out shower valve that needed replacement. Sacramento Suburban Water District sent Domco plumbing out to us to address a couple issues we had since our water main was shut off due to a massive upgrade in our neighborhood. We have used Domco Plumbing several times for plumbing issues at our house. On Wednesday night, we noticed our 2 bath tubs were backing up when we used our sinks and showers. We called Domco Thursday morning and they came out that SAME morning!!! The technician,Quentin, was on-time, friendly, courteous, and professional. He surveyed the situation and quoted me a price. He worked very hard to rectify the problem and made sure everything was working properly before he left. He also cleaned up all the areas he worked in as well. I had a broken hot water pipe under my slab foundation and was referred to Domco by my handyman and I'm so glad that they were the ones I called. I was desperate and needed things fixed as soon as possible. They called and arranged for The Leak Geeks to come out and locate the location of the leak so things could get moving along and I could have water again. Once the location of the leak was determined Sean and Alex were on it. They also installed a new hot water heater. Robert and Daniel came out when our sewage extraction pump seemed to have failed. Did an excellent job of trouble shooting the issue before automatically concluding that we needed a new pump. So happy I reached out to Domco and asked them to come out and give us an estimate on a gas line install for our pool project. The pool company wanted to trench across our driveway and dig up our entire front yard to install a gas line from one corner of the house to the other, where our equipment will eventually go. I'm glad I asked if running it through the attic was an option, because it turned out it was. A little more $ in exchange for keeping our front yard and concrete driveway intact was important to us. Domco came out that same day I called for an estimate, and scheduled me within four days of me giving the green light on the project. We had a toilet clog that we couldn't fix. We called several plumbers checking prices. Domco was one of the more reasonable ones so we asked them to come out. They were there within the hour. It only took a very few minutes to fix the clog and only charged about 2/3rd of the initial quote. We were impressed and will call again if need be! read more

At around 8:00am three work trucks labeled DOMCO Plumbing arrived at my house yesterday. I signed some papers agreeing to pay $7,840 to have new copper pipes, shower/faucet fixtures, and a water heater installed. For this I would get working toilets and restore running water to all my sinks and showers, AND a permit. As I drove off to find refuge at my mom's during the chaos, I thought to myself, "Shoot. I only transferred the quoted amount into my checking account, what a rookie move. Jobs like this inevitably turn out to be more complicated than originally envisioned, and all the real costs accrue through change orders -- $7,840.00 is only the beginning." So I wasn't all that surprised when Dom called at the end of the day and said the job is going great, HOWEVER, he'd run into one thing, and that I "had a decision to make." Except, the decision was whether I wanted to spend about $250 less. (He'd found a way to save me some money.) The job's not completely done yet, but so far I'm impressed. I went by this morning to unlock doors and take a look around. The guys were scheduled to come back at 9:00am. Everything was left neat and orderly, and I could tell extreme care had been taken to minimize visible proof that they had been here. Not a scratch on my wood floor, and there was only one small wall opening required to get to my shower, for the whole repiping job. The remaining work left for today is all "above and beyond" the estimated work - I can tell they are not here for the job, they're here to make a lifetime customer. As I was about to leave the place, around 8:30am, I noticed the first guy pulling up to my place, a half hour early, bright eyed, and happy to get back to work. The guys are all polite and professional, they showed up on time, are ahead of schedule, AND they're thinking about how to save me some money. I think if you have a big job, you absolutely HAVE to obtain multiple estimates. Do yourself a favor though, and invite DOMCO to bid. He'll be more thorough than the rest, will quote you a fair price, will have passion around his recommended solution (e.g. copper vs. plastic), will communicate with you frequently on the progress of the job, will go above and beyond what's expected, and will really make you feel like a valued customer. #plumbercrushing read more

A couple weeks ago, Eric came to clean out my bathroom drains. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor! He was thorough on explaining what he was doing and had suggestions that were helpful. Today Alfredo and Jose came to change out my 16 year old water heater. I was told it would typically will last for 15 years so I didn't want to risk It failing. Alfredo and Jose checked it out and said that I could definitely wait to replace it. They said they didn't have a crystal ball to know the future but I could just keep an ion it and if I see any water in the pan underneath to give them a call. I really appreciate that they cared about me and did not take advantage of an opportunity to make money when I didn't really need to replace it. So far three out of three employees are stars in my mind! Also, I appreciate that someone answers the phone when I call Domco. The receptionist is always kind and thorough in giving information. I called Domco for an appointment and on 1/23/23 Alex from Domco came and ran a snake through main line. He flushed the toilet and said issue was fixed. He did not check anything like running water, or flushing other toilets elsewhere in the house to see if there were any other issues. My house guest checked the bathroom on the other side of the house and the issue was not fixed there. Alex's reaction was "you didn't say there was another bathroom". I said we didn't discuss it when he walked in because we went to the master bathroom to address the issue there. He then went to the other side of the house and tried to run his snake through the cleanout for the laundry which didn't work. Due to the pipe access being under the house and being unable to reach it with his snake machine, he wanted to add a 6' x 4" ABS through the crawlspace in order to be able to use his machine. They would have to come back to do that. I was not agreeable to running the ABS through the crawlspace and I had someone add the ABS through the wall the following day. On 1/26/23 I called Domco to cancel the appointment because I wasn't comfortable with the whole situation. The issue of plugged lines was still not resolved so I called another company - Global Plumbing and Rooter Service. Oleg came and snaked it also to no avail. He went and got his Aerojet which pushed out sludge. He explained that the snake simply went through the sludge but did not remove it. The problem was resolved with the water from the Aerojet pushing out the sludge. On 1/30/23 I called Domco to see about a refund as Alex did not resolve the problem. I spoke with Brandon who said there was no guarantees, no warranties, for the work and that the amount was "for their time". And "since I was told about the 4" pipe extension and that solved the problem" there would be no refund. Adding the pipe did not resolve the issue. The only need for extending the pipe was because their machine could not go under the house and access the pipe that was there. So in essence I paid them $275 for coming out but not fixing the problem. read more
