Even better he proposed to install a new valve on the copper side and horizontally for easy access and replacement. The old valve leaks because the pvc pipe it is connected to cracks. Great service yet again from Domco. This is my third time using them and I have always gotten the most excellent service. I called late yesterday with a leak issue I discovered after having a refrigerator delivered. They arranged an urgent repair and Tony was out first thing before 8am and had the issue resolved right away. He was prompt and friendly, had called ahead, offered to come back to help move the fridge in place and check the leak. I was lucky he came back as he helped to resolve a shut off value at the sink issue I didn't know how to turn back on from the fridge installers. Then, he resolved the fridge issue as no water was coming to the new fridge water dispenser - he pushed a button on the fridge that had not been activated until he pushed it. So Tony, thank you, for fixing a leak that would have caused a lot of damage and for the quick troubleshooting of the water pitcher in the new fridge. I highly recommend Tony - he overdelivered on the already excellent previous issues I have had in the past. I will continue to use and refer Domco! read more

Can't ask for better.... I called first thing this morning about a washer drain backing up. Someone was at my door before 10am! Eric showed up, and was thoughtful, helpful, explained everything, and took care of us. I ended up asking him to fix the laundry room sink and he went ahead and did it. Definitely worked to do the job well without going over budget too much. In the end, by the end of the day I am back to having a functional washer AND my laundry sink is fixed up and it didn't break the bank. Win win. read more

After fighting with our home warranty company (and both shady plumbing companies that they sent to our house), I finally called Domco plumbing to help us out. They came out the very next day to give us an estimate and were extremely honest about the repairs. It only took them about two hours to fix our leaking shower drain that both other companies told us would cost thousands and thousands of dollars to fix. Another plumber identified that we had a belly in sewer line under a cement slab and claimed that it must be fixed. This would set us back thousands of dollars. I called Domco and Eric came out for the inspection and ran a video monitor at the issue and confirmed a very small belly in the pipe but advised that it shouldn't cause any issue. He provided his expert advice on how to remedy the issue if a clog were to happen. Very happy with his service. Domco was the "get a second estimate" contractor as my first contractor was through the hone warranty Domco came out same day for a quote. It was anunrushed and informative visit discussion. I went with them. The job was to reroute a gas line. Quintin and Matt were assigned. They were friendly, knowledgeable and took just under half a day to get the job done. There was a communication gap between the quote and job (size of pipe) but it got handled to every ones satisfaction on site. Looks professionally done and satisfied PG&E to get the gas back on. :-) Recommend Domco based on this job. May end up doing water heater with them in the future. read more

Outstanding service and response time once again! Sean and Sal are the best. I went to water some plants in the front yard and when I stepped off the sidewalk the ground beneath me sunk down a bit. I removed a little dirt with my garden trowel only to find a LOT of water. I knew exactly what to do, call Domco. The response time was excellent, as always. Sean and Sal not only arrived on time, they determined the issue within a very short time (Leak in the main water line), they were very professional, and courteous. I was given an accurate very reasonable quote, which I approved immediately. I live in the EDH area so there are numerous rocks and boulders which are not easy to work with. This was no problem for Sean and Sal, they excavated the area, repaired the main line and left no trace that they were ever here. Unfortunately it took Domco 30 days over four visit to simply replace a kitchen and bathroom faucet supplied by myself. The technician first came and replaced the kitchen faucet but connected the hot and cold water incorrectly and didn't get to the bathroom faucet. On the next visit the tech switched the hot and cold but still couldn't replace the bath faucet. The third visit the wrong bathroom faucet was replaced even though the tech was told that was the wrong faucet to replace and destroyed a good working faucet. Then finally on the fourth visit and after finding a replacement faucet since the tech destroyed the original faucet. They completed the work. I have asked for a reduction in the amount charged but this company has stated they lost money on the job since the tech they sent out to do the work was so incompetent. I guess that is my fault. read more

Water boxes were leaking on the front of the house. I called one plumber who was unavailable and recommended DOMCO. Within 1 hour they had arrived. Update May 2, 2022 After posting my concern below the manager called and offered a partial refund which I recieved. She stated she would address the issue for the future. The quality of work was excellent. Called to see if a plumber could come out to swap out a new shower valve. They said someone could come the next day between 12 and 2pm. At 3pm someone showed up and quoted me $525. The wall was open and I supplied the valve. The job took just under an hour. I had no choice cause the tile guy needed it done so he could proceeded. I felt as if they took advantage of my situation and charged a higher price. read more

I had Dom and his crew out to my house to remedy the leak under my home. Other companies told me I would need a total repipe but after getting a second opinion from Domco I was advised that a partial reroute would remedy the leak at a faction of the cost of a repipe . I was surprise to see the owner of the company was on the job making sure my floor was not damaged and that my house was as clean as they as when the crew arrived. My house will need a repipe in the future but now I have time to save up. The estimate I received from Dom was equal to his competitors but using copper tubing not plastic piping. These guys saved the day, and my ring! Flushed my engagement ring accidentally... Thought it was long gone, but my husband and I looked up what to do, did what we could, then called a neighbor (a plumber) who recommended Domco. We called at 0840, they said they would be out by early afternoon - don't run any water! Brandon arrived at 11:30, used his video scope - SAW THE RING - and then worked for 2 more hours with partner Jose to figure out how to get it out of the pipe. We have inaccessible sewer clean outs (thanks to the landscaping) so they entered the street manhole and flushed it out! Brandon informed me up front of the costs and the likelihood of success. Look at my other reviews. You will see I am balanced and fair. I am stingy with my 5 star ratings. For over 5 years I've struggled to find a great local plumber but my search is over with Domco We had a water main leak under a slab of cement 50 feet by 50 feet that we did not want to disturb. Domco surveyed the site and we agreed to reroute the water main. Justin, Jose & their team did an incredible job trenching, going under cement walking paths, bypassing the old main and of course running the new 45 foot main line. Everyone knew their Job and did it to perfection.... no short cuts. They were accommodating and respectful of our extensive landscaping and left the property looking better than when they came. I probably could have spent slightly less BUT others were citing repair dates two weeks away, Domco started 2 days after we agreed on the plan. Lastly, other plumbers wouldn't start work unless I signed a mechanics lien on my house which I find incredibly annoying; NOT Domco. I cannot imagine using another plumber. read more

I needed my dishwasher to be disconnected and a new pipe for my bathroom sink. Unfortunately the water needed to be turned off but the HOA needs to do it. So I asked the plumber if he could fix the bathroom sink first and by the time he's finished the water will be turned off. He checked with his boss and was told no. I asked him to wait 5 mins for a response from the HOA. He said he couldn't and that he'd need to come back "later" in the day because he had other projects. It was already afternoon and I had other commitments. I told him I wouldn't be needing his services. His company was going to make $700 on the whole job but suddenly had other priorities. I completely understand that he didn't want to wait for the water to be turned off, but I don't understand why a business would turn down my business for the bathroom project. I could have worked with them to come back another day if need be, but between his dismissive attitude and company policy I told him I'll be hiring someone else. read more

They wasted my time--don't let them waste yours. I made an appointment with a two-hour window for an estimate for a pipe installation, so I took three hours off from work. The estimator shows up, looks at the job and says he'll have to consult with his boss before providing an estimate-- do I mind waiting a few minutes? No problem. Twenty minutes later, he knocks on the door and says the boss must see it himself but cannot come now. I'll need to make another appointment for another two-hour window. Really? I just lost 3 hours from work and got nothing, and now they'd like me to try again. He even said they'd call me back, which they never did. SMH read more
