Our home is older, and we started having issues with water pressure so contacted several plumbing companies for quotes. I had used them many years ago and forgot why I haven't used them since. I called about a supply line leak. Two fellows responded the next door and reviewed the leak. Quoted me $820.00 for fix which I thought was quite high. Thought the fellow needed a small diamond for his wife. I decided to get further bids as time was critical but I wasn't going be over charged. I asked how long the repair would take and he said about an hour and a half. I then was curious and asked if he always made $400.00 dollars plus an hour. His response was slowly "NO" but we just look at the job and quote accordingly. Probably because I have a very nice home. I would never use them in the future or refer anybody I know or don't know. Domco thinks they have a license to steal from their clients. Now I remember why I never called them again and never will. Curious how they stay in business ripping people off like they tried with me. We called for help with a sewer smell coming from our crawlspace. He was able to explain to me how 5 Star Plumbing ripped me off and did not do the work that I paid them to complete. My mainline was 90% clogged after 5 Star hydrojetted it. I'm not sure if this is the right Domco as the address does not match the one on my receipt. Anyways I usually use my neighbor "PJ Plumbing" but today I had an emergency and PJ was not available and told me to contact Domco. I definitely was not happy about that as every other plumber I've ever used ended up charging me insane prices. Long story short, Domcos secretary/answering service was great and sent someone out in less than 30 mins. The two men, Preston and Jody (might be Brody, it's been a long day‍) were so accommodating given the fact I was giving my baby a bath when they walked in because he literally was doing what my toilet was.....its really been a crappy day‍ They unclogged my toilet and told me to replace mine as it's a fancy low one that was installed when the house was built and is going to keep causing problems. I'm definitely going to follow their advice as this toilet is on my top 3rd floor and will flood my walls with crap, literally if it backs up again. In September we came home to find our water boost pump had failed. Since spare parts for unit were no longer available I got a new pump and the parts to install it. Robert came to do the repair and I found him very knowledgeable and friendly. He determined one of the parts I had for the install was not correct, but he had the correct fitting on his truck. He did the install which required new PVC piping. All seemed to work fine. The next day I discovered a water leak but not where Robert had changed the piping. Robert came back the next day and showed me where the original plumber had made a bad connection and tried to cover it up with glueing a piece over the error. Robert replaced the faulty joint again with all the needed parts on his truck. In summary, Domco Plumbing and Robert were very skilled and efficient. I will definitely use them again. read more
