    Lengua and Al Pastor Tacos

Huge fan of their Lengua! Very tender and generous on the portion. The hand-pressed corn torillas were also heavenly. Al Pastor was tender but a tad fatty and bland for me. Nothing their delicious and fiery salsas couldn't improve though. Enchiladas Mole Plate was probably my least favorite. This might just be because I'm not an expert on mole but I was expecting something more savory and/or sweet but this one was just very muted...Rice and beans were great and so were the enchiladas themselves. Overall, a super nice Mexican spot with open-air seatings and friendly staffs. A good casual hangout/dinner spot.

It was slammed in Cinco de Mayo so I didn't order everything I wanted, but I enjoyed what I got! For some reason I never knew it was tucked away where it is, so I definitely would have missed it if I wasn't invited to come. It looked like a fun atmosphere and folks were kind. I will need to come back to try the other things on the menu.

We had so much fun here for lunch today. We walked in and were immediately greeted with such great energy and happiness from the staff there and ordered our food (which was made relatively quickly!) I love the way this space is decorated and really reminds me of being back home. We got the chance to sit down with the owners and just converse and have a good time together. This is the spot to come to if you're in NE Portland. They've also got a second location as well which is worth checking out!

First time dining at Domingo's. The vibrants colors on the outside , you cannot miss it. We were greeted by James, immediately makes me feel home. I asked about the recipes he told us that they were family recipes and they work here too. This restaurant just celebrated its first anniversary in January. Well time to eat, we ordered chilaquiles con salsa verde, the chips taste fresh and crunchy, love the sauce and has the right amount of chips, I was looking for soups they offered menudo and pozole I choose the pozole loved the flavor , broth was amazing with the touched of the lime juice wedge that comes with it, I love nopales we ordered 2 , they were well seasoned, and to finish we had to try the tamales they have raja con queso and chicken both were to died for by this time we were so full. Next time we come back to Portland we will be back to eat here. Thanks James and family for such an amazing experience!!!!!!!! See you soon . Before we finish I have to mention I love the music they play. Authentic music probably from the Mexican 60th.

My husband and I come to Domingo's all the time - the food is amazing, staff is friendly, and ambiance is low key. Some of the best food we've had in Portland!

I eat at Domingo's about once a week. Fantastic Oaxacan cuisine: enchiladas, tacos, chilaquiles, and a lot more that I have yet to try. If you want a real treat, GET THE POZOLE. It comes with a big scoop of mole; so warming! It's family-owned and operated and they're open every day of the week until 9!

Great tacos. Really good tortillas and fillings. Carnitas (mix of crispy and juicy) and pollo in particular.

One thing that bothered me though (and I know maybe I'll get hate for this), is I feel like some of the decor is tone deaf. They have a bunch of colonial men ceramic decor, but they partner with and serve food from a Filipino company. I'm Filipino and it was a bit offensive to me because even if the point of having them is trying to make fun of them, it's not really funny. We were colonized for over 300 yrs and still deal with the trauma from it. Please consider removing the colonial decor. I really enjoyed the bar and want to enjoy it in the future, but I don't think it's necessary to have those things in the bar and doesn't add anything to how cool the bar is apart from that. UPDATE: the bar messaged me. They were super professional and kind in their response. I really appreciate that they were open to my perspective on the colonial items and said they will be removed. Thank you so much!! Looking forward to enjoying the bar in the future
