Darn it. I should have looked at the reviews first. Recently moved to the area. This place was recommended by someone I work with. My daughter and I stopped here for a later quick lunch. It was almost 2pm. We ordered 4 slices. While we waited for our pizza, the only woman working the front answered probably 4 phone calls and took the order and cashed out 2 people. By the time she remembered our pizza, it was well done. We didn't say anything because we just wanted to get in and out. The pizza tasted good but I rather my crust be lighter. I think this is the best pizza in the Clinton area. Have been coming here multiple times and they have been consistent and good. I've had every pizza from Sicilian to bacon tortellini pizza. When you walk in and order they take you right away and get your order out to you and I also used them for delivery and their were no issues. Dinner items we had were calamari to start which came out crispy. Mind you they give a good amount too. Entrees we had chicken parm and spaghetti and meatballs. Definitely good pizza among mediocre pizza in the area. Good Stromboli too. I've had mixed experiences with the staff. First off, the girls that work there are always very nice and friendly. One time I walked in and was totally ignored by two guys until one of the girls came back to the register. Another time a different guy was super friendly and even gave me a bunch of paper plates and napkins for my takeout order. I'm not going to let a couple bad apples keep me from coming back, but come on, don't treat your customers like you are doing them a favor. read more

I was told by a friend how this is the best pizzeria in town.. Being that I grew up on nyc pizza, I had to check it out.. First time I was here, I wondered how the pizza could be so bad... The pizza barely had any sauce on it and the pizza had no flavor at all, it was as if was a piece of damp cardboard.. So I checked yelp and there are really good reviews.. So I figured I went on a off night... Back I go... Strike two, even the others didn't eat the pizza, all slices, half eaten, we went to flemington for pizza b/c it was a pizza mood night. My favorite pizza on town. Price is right. Owners and staff are nice. Location good. Love the chicken roll and best honey mustard chicken pizza (if you like that sort of thing). Ordered a small buffalo chicken pizza well-done. Not only was it not well-done, it was barely cooked. I actually had to finish baking it in my own oven for the cheese to melt. My other issue is the sheer volume of cheese on it; I tried my best to finish one slice and we just ended up throwing it away, you couldn't even taste the chicken. Great local spot. Pizza is very good, margherita and eggplant slices are my go-to's. Staff is welcoming and very conscious of social distancing, cleanliness and safety. Someone is always cleaning the tables in there. Eggplant parm sub was good, the bread was fresh. Wish there was more parking available, the lot can get crowded. read more

There's always a debate about the best pizza in town but for my money this is it. The pizza is great and so is the service. I called them at 2 on Halloween and said I'd like to pick up 6 pies at 5. They said they were going to be really busy, but no problem. I had a houseful of people waiting for them and when I got there at 5 the pizzas we ready. I've been going to Dominick's for the past year since I moved to the area. The pizza is usually pretty good, however very inconsistent. It seems like they have different cooks and everyone makes things their own way. Several times I've ordered something only to find that it was not made the way I asked. (This is pizza, there is like 4 or 5 ingredients, how can it be messed up???) Additionally, the customer service isn't too good. They have a couple teenage girls taking orders that seem like they want to be anywhere but there. And I was there one time waiting to pick up an order (that was 15 minutes late), the staff gave out free cannolis to everyone in the place except for me. Their pricing is also inconsistent, every time I order something (the same thing) it's a different price, and apparently their website does not give current pricing. I ordered two small calzones last night, one had 2 toppings, and the other 3. According to the website the base price of each is $6.50, each topping is an additional $.75. So my order should have been $16.75 plus tax, $17.92. Orders over $15, according to their website is free. When the delivery guy showed up the charge was $21.94. I suppose I should have just refused delivery. A few mistakes throughout the year is not a big deal, but there seems to be a different problem every time I order from Dominick's. I LOVE the pizza at Dominick's! They make an incredible pie and have free delivery. We've tried the eggplant pie, cheese pie, pepperoni, pesto pie, etc. each one was more delicious than the next. My only complaint is that the person who takes the phone orders doesn't always know what I'm talking about when I order a speciality pie off their menu. I am giving one star because I have to give something. We have been going to Dominick's for a while and considered it one of the best pizza places around. But lately something has changed. A few weeks ago we ordered pizza and a salad for delivery which took over an hour to arrive. I called to ask when to expect it after waiting an hour, was told it already left and should be arriving momentarily. I live 5 minutes away and it was 7 minutes later that it arrived. The pizza looked like it was sitting on a shelf with coagulated grease and cold. We reheated it in the oven which didn't help, we all thought it tasted odd so we ended up throwing it away. A week later we went to a party that had ordered the pizza from Dominick's as well. The pizza was cold and covered in coagulated grease again. We figured they had an off week and ordered again today. We decided to pick-up and got there 10 minutes after calling. The pizza was ready but the Stromboli was just going into the oven. About 15-20 mins later we left with a cold pizza and a Stromboli that looked like it was made in a rush with mostly pepperoni and cheese and almost no other ingredients, as well as a black hair in it. Are you freaking kidding me!?!? So the pizza which again tasted odd and hairy Stromboli are in the garbage. read more

I just had a dinner delivered to me. I have never been here before but goin by reviews I thought I would give it a shot. It arrived within the hour. I was impressed that the salad was more than just standard iceberg lettuce. I ordered veal saltimbolca. I must say, very good ( especially for a delivery). It was hot, 3 large slices of veal with spinach and mozzarella cheese. I would definitely order from them again and I would highly recommend. Love it that they deliver. Terrible experience. My husband placed an order (#24). I didn't know what he had ordered for the kids and I went and picked it up. When I got home, I discovered it was the wrong order. When I called, the girl told me that they must have more than one order 24. When I said that was not a good business plan, she had the nerve to hang up on me. I drove another 20 minutes to bring back the order and they didn't even have the original order ready. Their excuse? They were "busy". read more

I have to say that I love the pizza here, but unless I am near their location and can pick up on the way home, I will not buy here again. Two of the last three times I have ordered here for delivery, it has taken over and hour. Today I placed an order at 5:50PM and cancelled it at 7:35 PM, because I still did not have it. They called me after I cancelled and said they did not have my house number, but I was logged into their site when I placed the order and my full address was listed right on the screen for me to select and I did. This is a reasonably priced pizza/Italian place. I've eaten here at least 10 times and the meal is always good. The pizza is good and the prices are right. Nothing fancy but it's by far the best Italian food I've had in Clinton. They also serve gluten free pasta. read more

I stumbled upon Dominick's one day, and..wow.. what a find! Doesn't get any better than this! Every single one of their pizzas is superb. My two favorites are the Chicken Marsala, and Stuffed, which are both out of this world! They also make the best Antipasto Salad in this known world! I usually order the large, but the small is huge also. The ingredients are always the freshest, and they are so generous with the ingredients. Their prices are the lowest anywhere, and their quality and quantity exceeds all others. They must love what they do to run their business in such a way. If you're jumping off the highway and unfamiliar with the area (and can't find Quizznos) stick with the pizza. I got a gyro with maybe a teaspoon of tzatziki sauce, not the end of the world, but it was a bit gross to find a hair that was definitely not mine or my friends in it. My friend asked for a meatball sub, light on the sauce since we were heading back on the highway, and she got a ridiculously saucy sub with really bready meatballs that just fell apart. 20 min down the road her stomach flips and she threw up at a gas station. Great pizza if you go off-peak hours. Service is very slow. Took an hour for takeout of a pie and chicken dish on a Thursday night. They just can't keep up. My family has found this par for the course and it is really disappointing. All the customers appear upset like they have been waiting too long for meals. Dinners were better in the past.
