We got a free emergency pizza from Dominos for the first time yesterday. We got it home, opened the box to find a jagged misshapen pie. The edges were pinched . Then we tasted it and found that there was a hard crunch , so we looked at the underside and to our surprise we found it to be all pieced together. The crust was very dry and thin in spots and hard and crunchy in others where pieces had been pushed into it . I realize it was free but shouldn't it also be of the same quality? This was very disturbing, if crust was put together so sloppily what quality were the rest of the ingredients I wonder. Don't trust them anymore after this. When you order through the Domino's mobile app, the Auburn location is the only one that delivered. The Lewiston location does not take online orders for delivery. I have had pretty good experiences with Dominos in the past, across the country, but this location for some reason misses on the quality side. They tend to get very busy and when they do, that's where I have seen the quality dip. I have ordered the all meat pizza many times and I remove the cheese because of a health condition. It was always good up until this one time where they obviously did not do a quality check because it looks like someone just poured grease all over the bottom of the box then laid the pizza on top of it. The amount of grease nearly soaked through the bottom of the box as you can see in the attached pictures. The pizza's flavor was good, but I used a good dozen napkins just to enjoy it because the bottom of every slide was greasy and dripping from the amount. I have since decided to order directly from Lewiston and pick it up myself so I can quality check the pizza before departing. read more

First of all, I ordered RIGHT before they closed, but they still accepted the order and got it to me in a timely manner. My reason for a review was actually about the service!! Whoever the female that was that was answering the phones late night on 6/14, she was AMAZING!! I called because I realized I hadn't gotten my root beer, which totally wasn't a huge deal because I ordered it to reach the minimum delivery. She was more than happy to add it to another future delivery , and actually offered to have someone drive it over. A ROOT BEER, 45 MINUTES AFTER THEY CLOSED. I've worked 13 years in restaurants, and THAT.. was some serious customer service. I can't even find that in fine dining restaurants around maine! Haven't been to this dominos in a couple years. Decided to order a couple pizzas through the app. We got there and the app told us to text "here" when we arrived. If the pizza wasn't brought out within a certain amount of time we would be given the opportunity for a free pizza next time. The timer stopped at 50 seconds left and a girl came out and said the pizza would be done shortly? The pizzas never came out. I had to go in and ask for them 15 minutes later. I have had pizza from here twice, both times it has been screwed up. First time they didn't get the address right and I repeated 3 times, so the pizza was cold and really late by the time they realized they had the wrong address. This last time I ordered green pepper and onion pizza. What I ended up getting was a green pepper and pepperoni pizza. Not happy, but it was to late to call. Furthermore if they screw up they don't take care of the customer. I called the first and was told there was nothing they could do. Go figure. Just drove back home after picking up three items I ordered online, one a sandwich, two a medium pizza and three a cheesy bread. After my 15 minute drive back home I open the boxes to find the 1. My sandwich isn't cut in half, no biggie I can fix that, 2. The cows must be on strike because my pizza hardly had any cheese on it and 3. Honey I shrunk the Kids must have been filming there because my cheesy bread didn't even fill 3/4 of the box. Disappointed, I called the location and spoke with a female manager and explained that I understood they are busy but quality control is still important and I still have to pay whether they make it right or wrong. She simply said ok and that she was sorry it happened. And the conversation was done. So now I'm here eating a uncheesy pizza, a shrunken cheesy bread and now thanks to a knife I had just for an occasion like this half a sandwich. Oh! And no marinara sauce, which I paid $1.00 for. This dominos pizza location at 62 School street is the worst in the country. I have never once complained about service or quality, but this place has proven to be so absolute atrocious that I've decided to be a "Karen" and start speaking up. I've worked fast food, I've worked retail, and the quality that consistently comes out of this location is unbelievable. The fact that the owners of this location are so absent that these things have been allowed to escalate to this level is abysmal. Do not even give this location a chance, they will screw it up not from inexperience or short handedness but from a level of negligence that can only be ignored when the standards of expectations are lowered beyond belief. Lewiston House of Pizza, Pizza Market, or Heathcos are all other locations nearby that have proven to have a reasonable level of quality and ethics, I'd recommend giving any one of them a try before gambling your nights dinner on this pathetic restaurant. read more

I was on my home from running errands after work, so i stopped in and placed an order for carry out. After paying I was told it would be 45 minutes. (By the way, for you people who try to call in an order, they pick up and hang up, if they are too busy for you. They cater to the online orders.) I ordered 2 large bacon and peperoni pizzas. When I finally got home I found I received 2 peperoni pizzas. NO BACON. One of the pizzas wasn't even cut, just left whole. Stuffed cheesy bread was RAW DOUGH in the middle, and the pizza I ordered with double cheese had hardly any cheese at all. Also, both pizzas I ordered looked like they were cut by a three year old, and were cold. I also never received the marinara sauce I ordered, and this happens quite often. When I called to ask where it was they said "oh it's just been delivered" this I know wasn't true as I was standing outside. I definitely suggest getting a Pan Pizza (or two) if you're looking to get the most out of this chain pizza place. Order placed at 6:35, with an estimate of 20-30 minutes. The tracker stated it left the restaurant at 6:55. The restaurant is a 5 minute drive from our home. Called at 7:20 to be sure hey we're not lost, was told the driver had 2 deliveries & was "almost there". I order breadbowl pasta a lot. They seem to be getting smaller and smaller. They also seem to have a hard time useing the right amount of sauce. If I ask for 'normal' sauce, its like soup but if I ask for 'light' sauce, there's hardly any on there at all. The breadbowls deffinately were my favorite but aren't what they use to be. Smaller portions, one time I got one with no garlic on the crust, I've gotten them burnt, undercooked and incorrectly made. I ordered bacon and sausage on one last time I ordered, and only got bacon on it. I've also ordered sides of dipping sauces that I paid for but never received. Not impressed. This particular Domino's is not a very good store. My girlfriend and I decided to order out some pizza around 11:30, and once submitted, the computer quoted us 45-55 minutes. So, 12:00 comes by and I check on the status of our pizza, and to my surprise it hadn't even been started yet. So I call the store, and they rudely tell me that they're busy, short staffed, and that every order that night was taking 2+ hours. That my food will be "ready when it's ready." So, having to work this morning real early, waiting up until 1:30 for my pizza was not what I had intended to do when we ordered. So, afterwards I go outside to wait for them around 1:20 am when the pizza tracker says that "pizza has left the store" and I wait a solid 40 min in the cold before i check my pizza status again. Now, according to their website, my order had already arrived. Confused again, i once again called back, and I asked the lady working the phone her name and she refused to give it. Then, told me my pizza will "get there when it gets there," that they only have one driver, and he's taking 6 deliveries at a time. So, here I am in the freezing cold waiting for this pizza delivery driver who is supposedly on the way. When he finally arrives at 2:20, he requires me to physically take my own good out of his bag, then stands idle staring at me waiting for a tip. He leaves and I bring my food inside to the girlfriend and we begin to eat. The chicken is burnt, the sandwiches are burnt, the cheese sticks under-cooked and doughy.
