This used to be a great place for a decent pizza. The food sits in "Quality Check" for 20 minutes. By the time the food arrived the chicken was damp with condensation and the pizza was only warm. Not a great meal for $60.00 read more

My order tracking was claimed to be delivered over an hour after it was ordered. Then I called the store and they said the driver returned to the store and clocked out WITH my order. So they said they will cook another order for me and have it out in 20 minutes but almost 40minuets later I get a stone cold order thrown on my doorstep! I've ordered here for years but it has gone downhill very quickly. The photo is a medium pan pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and onion. It cost $28 with delivery charge and generous tip. As you can see, cheese and toppings only covered half of the surface area with almost no sauce. It was just mildly warm since it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive. Store does not answer it's phone. I ordered online and the best I could get was credit for a free basic pizza worth $12, not the $28 pizza I ordered. I don't think I will ever redeem the free pizza anyway after this experience. I'm giving it five stars because I get pizza here a lot, and it's the best pizza over all I've had in Juneau. A couple of times, I've bit into pizza they got at work and had to check the box to see who had such good pizza! Yes the owner is stubborn so if I get the wrong order I just consider it a food adventure And I rarely get delivery cause one terrible delivery person once...did his job poorly. However, as I keep getting pizza here, it's a testament to how good the pizza is to me! Also, if you use the app to order, you get every tenth pizza free, based on a point system. read more

Overworked people with angry chefs and stressed drivers. Pizza can be delivered quickly or take 2 hours. Hit or miss. Usually pretty good food but I avoid going in to avoid seeing the ball of stress. It sounds based on the reviews that the owner is rude. But honestly, if you were the manager here, you'd probably be rude too. Anyway, it's dominoes pizza. Don't expect anything fancy and you won't be disappointed. Also, get delivery and you won't have to deal with the rude manager :) Yes it's Juneau so they don't honor national coupons and their pricing is confusing so it's hard to comparison shop. But the pizza tastes pretty good (for a pizza delivery chain). And it's reasonably priced (for Juneau). I imagine that a place like this probably gets its fair share of drunks coming in late at night. That could partly account for the owners attitude. Also, it's a pizza place so their turnover is probably really high and I imagine if the owner is rude to customers, he's probably rude to employees and some of these reviews might even be from employees. All I can say is that in my experience, the pizza arrives at my door hot, it tastes good, and it doesn't cost a lot. read more

Manager/owner (?) Is horrible and cheap. Likes to leave the food shipment out front all day, which isn't a problem in the dead of winter when it's below freezing. It happens regularly year round. There is usually something wrong with the pizza, wrong order or under cooked there has even been hair problems. Then the manager/owner (?) fights with you about fixing the problem. Just had the most atrocious experience! They messed up my order on OCT 2nd, and after calling them right away they informed me the next pizza would be credited. Not the case, even after employee vouched for me saying he remembered the order mess up. Owner/Manager was beyond RUDE! Would not even consider a credit, and wouldn't speak to me because he said "I busy right now". So much for the on the box guarantee! Pay the extra, and just go to Island Pub where's there's better pizza and certainly better customer service! read more

Last time the delivery driver was delayed and jerky. He had the wrong street even though it was correct on our receipt (and we order often). He said he tried calling and ended up going back to the store to call from a land line when I wouldn't accept the call from an unknown-to-me Little Rock, AZ cell phone. Ahem. Sorry dude, but that's on you. Then he was RUDE when he arrived and KICKED my screen door open, letting my cat out. I had to go get my cat while he ran off (and I was afraid he would hit my cat in the driveway since he's a black, indoor-only, dumb cat and it was dark out). Thankfully he didn't, but he didn't care either. Fast and the pizza is consistently decent for the price, especially compared to other local delivery options. It's almost always cheaper to order a specialty pizza and REMOVE toppings than to build the same thing up from a basic cheese pizza. Go figure. Always order extra cheese. Skip the pasta and sandwiches, always provide your own drinks or go broke ordering theirs. The online app never takes my AMEX card. read more

Very rude owner. My last experience with them, I ordered cheesy bread as a side to a pizza order. It came undercooked - the cheese was not melted, and the bread still doughy. The owner doubted me, but decided to offer a replacement. The new order came through with the same exact problem as before. He said "his customers love it this way, the problem is with you, it is not my fault if you don't like it". I think he still offered me a discount from my next order, but frankly, if they can't even cook their food properly, I'm not really interested. Haven't ordered with them since. I'm impressed with the changes they are makng to improve their pizza, however they need to work on consistency. I would suggest going in to pick up from this location, as my first experience was a fresh hot pizza in 15 minutes with a yummy garlic crust. The second time is the reason for 3 stars, we had it delivered and it was warm but not hot no garlic crust and pizza appeared thrown together plus we ordered cinna stix and they weren't event warm with a dipping sauce that expired over a month ago. Wow! Really talk about no attention to detail. All in all if I had a craving for a Philly cheese steak pizza again I may attempt to do carryout and see if they can redeem themselves. This is the worse place I had ever tried to order pizza from. I had arrived after placing my order to be picked up note it was over a 50.00 order for me and a group of friends...when I arrived to pick up my pizza the order was completely wrong and the man who was there blatantly disregarded that and began to be extremely combative and beyond rude. I then watched him belittle his employee when she had stepped in to resolve his lack of care in my order. I then asked to cancel my order as I told him I will not be back he continued to yell and be extremely rude. I left in shock at his behavior, truly can't believe that he's employed. I'm assuming this is the location my pizza came from. I ordered through the app and I have no idea how many are in town. The pizza is certainly better than the Domino's Pizza in Anchorage. It's still Dominos though. I was only given the option of medium or xlarge. I got the xlarge which I feel is more of a medium or large at best. But the pizza was flooded with toppings! More toppings than crust. I had to check for cheese. It's good though, less greasy than the options at home. read more

Just received the worst service possible and will NEVER order from this Domino's again. The box was not properly put together and the entire pizza slipped out the front of the closed box and landed on the floor. When I called to request a new pizza I was told "those boxes are not bullet proof" and "I delivered it perfectly so what do you want me to do". His only shred of being helpful was that if I brought the delivered pizza back to him he would replace it. He yelled at me, cut me off and then said "see ya later!" and hung up. This is a really small town and there are several other options for pizza. To treat a customer so badly over a $20 pizza is outrageous. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I really like Domino's Pizza in general (good crust, good specials). I went on a family trip to Juneau last August 2013 and we got a large pepperoni from the Junea branch thinking it would be a failsafe. Delivery was fast and the employee was polite, but Holy Cooooow. The pizza was so stale it was completely inedible. My brother isn't picky about food and neither am I and we couldn't eat an entire slice between the two of us. We threw the pizza out and went to the corner store at 9pm to get some cheerios to snack on. MAJOR FAIL - I don't understand how a Domino's franchise could make pizza that disgusting. I'm back in Eugene eating Domino's right now and it's great. How the Juneau branch could mess up a pepperoni pizza that bad is absolutely unbelievable to me.
