Can I give a negative star? Had service done on 9/23, the usual oil change and wheel rotation. Fast forward 16 days on the highway north for a long weekend and one of the tire warning lights come on 29 lbs and dropping. Pull over, see a nail and Google the nearest discount tire, 2 miles, yes. A minor inconvenience and on our way. Well, not so fast, the wheel key fir the wheel locks is NOT in the glovebox. Discount won't do anything but add air. I Google the nearest Jeep dealer and Yes, just a couple of miles away. They can fix the flat $32 vs free at discount and they will remove the wheel locks and sell me a new set for $60. That sucks and Don Davis sucks. But, I have now been waiting at the Jeep dealer in Norman and I have family members to pick up at Kansas City International. I gave myself a couple of hours leeway. But I've now been sidelined over TWO hours. All started with going to Don Davis for service. read more

The customer service that I received from Tek(salesman)and Damien(business manager) was astounding! I came in at one hour and half minutes until closing time on a Friday, not knowing if I would be able to buy a car because of the late time of day. In no time Damien and Tek worked hard to make sure that I was able to drive out of the dealership with car of my dreams! They took the time to find out my wants and needs and went above and beyond to make sure that they were met, they even stayed a little late! They answered all my questions that I had about my loan and ensured I had a good understanding of the terms and conditions. Even though I met them that day, they were so personable and relatable! Took my wrangler in here at lunch to be serviced (oil change, tires rotated, etc) as is the case with most service centers I expected several hours of waiting. I ran and grabbed lunch at a nearby spot for 45 minutes, walking back to the service center I expected to be waiting another hour, but not so. The attendant told me the Jeep was done and walked me to my car when I got there. The only reason I took one star away is because I was looking at wheels and rims for my Jeep in the parts center for about 5 minutes and nobody asked me if I needed any help. As a new customer, I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from this company again. I've had my Jeep for less than 6 months and returned to this location for a tire change. I noticed a small leak as the car indicator demonstrates low tire pressure and I was adding air daily. Now almost 2 hours later, I am still waiting on service. When I arrived there was no wait so I'm confused as to why such an extended wait. One of the managers advised they had to wait to clear the bay. Very poor explanation. I work in customer service, so I understand that there may be a learning curve when someone is new in their role. This guy tho. Had a difficult time answering basic questions, so I asked if I could test drive a model I was interested in. 15 minutes later, no one else around and I was still waiting, at that point I wasn't really interested after he wasn't able to answer my questions, id been waiting just to test drive a vehicle - imagine if id try to purchase? So I kindly told him I was going to look at other places. This is where he became aggressive- I get it we all anticipate that. But he told me I would be wasting my time - rude while in the same breath ranting about how great his store was. So I remained polite and said no thank you. This is where he took it too far and compelled me to write this review. As he was walking away he loudly started mumbling under his breath stating something like ".... You're never going to have luck with that bad attitude" (I had remained polite!) and I asked him "what did you say?" He then tells me, "I said have a good day" and walked inside. That was not the case, so now you've offended me twice in such a cowardly way. Can this place be any worse? I bought my car here and when I picked it up there was a huge dent in the door. It ended up taking them three weeks to fix the dent, meanwhile they gave me a crappy rental to drive when I had just paid for a new car. When I complained they credited me a free two year service package for all my oil changes. Ok I'm happy now, but wait.... The service department is horrible at setting expectations! Last time I got my oil changed I was quoted an hour wait time and it ended up being over three hours. This time I had them drop me off at the nail salon while I waited. I called the front desk and requested the shuttle then went and waited outside to make sure I didn't miss him. 40 minutes later I called back to check on it and the front desk told me they forgot to tell the driver but would send him out now. I ended up waiting over an hour. Screw the rest of my service package I don't care if I'm getting free service it's that bad. I won't be back. read more

Bought a new Wrangler JK. Took it in for service to get the oil changed. A week later at the car wash, cleaning the engine, I notice the oil cap was missing. Went back to the dealer to show them what I found and got the run around try to get the cap replaced. Found the original cap next to the battery in the engine compartment. No more dealership maintenance. At least when I do the oil change, I make sure it is done right. read more

NOW, THE STEERING WHEEL RANDOMLY JERKS/TURNS TO THE LEFT BY ITSELF WHILE YOURE DRIVING, THE SQUEAKING IS NOW A LOUDER SQUEALING SOUND, & THEY MESSED WITH THE FRONT RIGHT TIRE TO WHERE ITS RUBBING AGAINST THE PLASTIC OF THE CAR!!!! AS SOON AS YOU STEP ON THE GAS THE TIRE STARTS RUBBING ON THE PLASTIC & YOU CAN SMELL THE BURNING RUBBER. YOU CAN'T PHYSICALLY TURN THE STEERING WHEEL BECAUSE THE TIRE THEN RUBS AGAINST THE WHEEL WELL & IT SOUNDS/FEELS LIKE IM RUNNING OVER A STACK OF TIRES!!!!! Of course, as soon as we drove off the lot onto the street we literally had to turn around to tell them there was no way we could drive the car in that condition & that they needed to undo whatever the hell they did, but as soon as we pulled up to the doors, they had already locked & closed everything & everything was off. They closed everything in a matter of 90 seconds because they knew we'd be right back. So I went to their dealership across the road to tell them what was going on & luckily enough the manager from there was able to get us a rental for the following day since they're closed on Sundays (we brought our car in on Saturday). It's Monday morning & we went to pick up our car (we had to have it towed back to our apartment) & upon telling the person that "helped" us Mark Drexel that we were taking our car elsewhere because of the careless condition that the mechanics felt comfortable giving it back to us in, his only response was "OK". No apologies for ANYTHING. This is by far the absolute worst service experience I've ever had in my life, they should not be in business if they're seriously giving people their vehicles back in physically undrivable condition when it was 100% drivable when I gave it to them. To too it all off, my husband is finishing auto/diesel mechanics school soon & these men had the AUDACITY TO OFFER HIM A JOB THERE!!?!?!! These people and their business are all A JOKE. Be careful of Bait and Switch from ads placed on Car.com and autotrader.com from this dealer with a low, inviting price. After talking to three different associates, phone calls and face to face visits, and one email reply to a question over a two day period, all three associates say the car is on the lot and come in to see it. You arrive only for them to tell you the car sold and all of the associates AND the sales manager giving different dates and times of the sale and type of sale. A couple bought it, sold at auction, sold yesterday, sold this morning, sent it to auction, etc..... I find it doubtful the car was ever for sale at the lot. They will be glad to show you something similar, but at a higher price. I have bought two new vehicles from Don Davis in the past at the Ford dealership with joy. The Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealer. not a chance of me buying there More important than the price, the free BBQ Tuesdays, the Service Department, is integrity. Went to another local Jeep dealer first - had a horrible experience, so was hesitant to visit another Jeep dealership. Don Davis was a dream! All of the staff were courteous and professional. I definitely felt treated like a valued customer. They helped me get the model I wanted (I already knew what I wanted before I arrived) and they got me the best deal. What more could you want? My wife was out of town at the time, but the staff overnighted the paperwork to her to get her signature on the necessary forms - I felt like that was an above-and-beyond kind of service, for sure. We tried working with a dealership closer to home, however the respect and integrity of the people that worked at the other dealership(which I will not mention, horrible experience) was something that turned us off from buying. When we went to Don Davis, we were helped by Jim Britton who was patient with us and gave us exactly what we were looking for in a vehicle. He was informative during the whole process, was interested in what we had to say, answered any questions, and helped us in choosing the perfect Jeep. The whole process took about an hour. AN HOUR! Do not go to Don Davis Auto Group. They are unprofessional time-wasters. I set an appointment to test-drive a 2013 Camaro they had for sale this morning at 10am. They managed to sell it out from under me before I even had a chance to see it. Now, that in itself is not the issue. A car dealership's purpose is to sell cars. I get that. HOWEVER!! The dealer Alex Ward didn't even bother to check and see if it was still on the damned lot before I got there. I drove an hour and a half, and delayed a hospitalization appointment for my wife to go see about this car. And then he had the AUDACITY to send me a text message: "Hello Garry, this is alex[sic] from Don Davis. I just wanted to confirm your appointment with us today for 10:00AM." This was sent to me at 9:21AM. In the time it took me to get there, or while he was sending that text message, not ONCE did he even check to see if he had the car I was supposed to test-drive. Check it for fuel, flat tires, NOTHING! It could have caught fire for all he knew before I arrived. That is three hours and a quarter tank of gas that I am not getting back. Wasted my day off time and energy for nothing. If I wanted to drive to Dallas for the fun of it, I would have gone to see my nephew.... ZERO STARS!! never take your car here because they do shit to your car or tell you that something needs repair but it does not show up on your inspection report. also if you decide to have your vehicle repair here, make sure you check your receipt because they tried to charge me 2 different estimates price on my receipt but i caught it !!! i had an engine replaced in my car and within a few weeks i had to take my car back 3 times because it was jerking. all they told me was to put some gas treatment in my tank. now it's been about 2 months of having my car and now the oil light and check engine light is on!! i took my car back and they are telling me that my oil sensor and cam sensor needs replacing and it's going to cost about $700. i had them to replace the cam sensor and when i picked up my car the horn and the alarm didn't work. i took it back the next day for them to hook back up my horn and the manager called me to tell me about a bad hose and something else ( but now my ears are on mute) all i heard was $1000 repair but he will give me a deal or discount for $800. he never mentions anything about fixing my horn or alarm. read more

No Response at all from the GM after sending the following email: Me and my wife purchased a RAM 1500 Tradesman on April 29th from your dealership. We found the vehicle online and drove two hours from our home in Quitman, TX to purchase the vehicle because a couple of the local dealerships wouldn't even honor the price that was on their own website. I called Vince Razuri the Friday before and placed a deposit on the vehicle to hold it till we were able to get there on Monday. Cody was assigned as our salesperson and he reached out to me to introduce himself and let me know to ask for him when we arrived to view the vehicle and complete the purchase. The only thing we were shocked to find out about the vehicle was that there was no key FOB for the vehicle when he handed us the keys for the test drive. He said he we just needed to purchase the Key FOB and he could get it from the parts department for $200 or he said I could get them elsewhere for less. I figured he was just trying to save me some money and I said that's fine thanked him for the information about the Key FOB. We were very pleased with the purchase process and everything about the purchase and was impressed with your dealership. In fact I had fully intended to share how pleasant the experience was, but unfortunately our experience went from a 10 to a zero. The next day I was looking at accessories for the truck and looking to purchase the Key FOB and I thought about and I wanted everything to be Mopar including the Key FOB. I called Cody to get the Key FOB from him and I learned that the information he gave me wasn't true. I couldn't purchase a Key FOB to make the keyless entry work and Mopar doesn't even make a kit to make it a keyless entry. I told Cody that I wasn't happy about being lied to and misled about the vehicle (I don't think he did it intentionally he may have really thought he could do it). He then proceed to tell me about a place in Tyler that I can go to have an aftermarket alarm installed to solve the problem. I let him know that I have never had an aftermarket alarm installed because they always cause electrical problem with everyone I know that has ever had them installed. I would also be concerned about having someone unqualified messing around with the electrical system and causing warranty issues. He had Eddie Elqutob contact me about the issue He told me that the best they could do was trade the vehicle in and the next vehicle up would be $580 a month instead of my current payment (about $80 a month more). I found another vehicle on your website that was similar but had the keyless entry. Yesterday after waiting all day for Eddie he apologetically explains why he could get back to me earlier. During the discussion about the cost of the vehicle he tells me that the information on the website isn't accurate because it's not his website dondavisdodgechryslerjeep (dot) com He was very rude to me telling me not to interrupting him every time I had a question about what he was saying. Then he basically tells me in several different ways that the vehicle (that once again I found) was going to be $3000 more and he is coming up with a payment of $540 and I should be grateful that they are willing to help me out. After discussing the option with my wife and praying about it a bit I decided to contact you about the matter. As I described to my wife no matter how you cut it up the option we have now is spend $3000 more for what we thought we were going to spend a few hundred to get. At this point between the frustration, irritation, and my time it is not worth perusing any further. We are not going to pay more than $200 more for what we thought we were getting and was promised to us. As a business owner I know how much it costs to gain client/customers and I also know the best advertising is what my clients tell others about their experience with me. From the bottom of my heart I tell you truly I was very excited to be able to tell people about the experience and many friends and church family have asked me about the new truck. The experience that I just shared with you is the experience I share with them so far how this experience ends is up to you. A few of which are in the market for a new vehicle and make the trek to Dallas from time to time for event and purchases. I can't promise you that they will or will not make a purchase from your dealership based on how this experience ends, but I can tell you every time I have to let someone in my vehicle by turning the key or my kids ask for something out of the vehicle and we have to use the key (yes old fashion actual key!) to open the vehicle this is the story that will be told how that story ends is up to you. read more

I bought a 2014 Jeep here last week and although the experience was short and sweet, I left with a sour taste in my mouth - and it wasn't the coffee. Why is it that we, as consumers, expect car dealerships to just blatantly rip us off for as much $$ as possible? I don't understand it. I traded in a used vehicle this time, and the initial offer for the entire deal was just so grossly inflated that I laughed in the salesmanship face. They pretty much had the nuts to put a figure down on a piece of paper that would have screwed me out of an extra $10K - no kidding! In addition to this, I later learned that all 3 sales people I dealt with, prior to dealing with the 25ish yoa Sales Manager, had a collective 6 mo experience. Overall, I rate the buying experience here as poor. I'd recommend doing some extensive research on the car you're interested in, as well as the dealerships you plan on checking out. Know in advance what you're willing to pay, especially if financing a vehicle, and shop between competing businesses. Luckily I did, and called this place out when they tried to sell me a vehicle for $3000 more that advertised, plus trying to lowball me by another $7000 on my trade-in. Where should I start...let's see, let's begin with DD service dept attempting to charge me over $500 for a radiator that THEY damaged, 2) selling me a $1800 heater core repair when it was just a servo that controls the water,3) took it back 9months later for same "no heat" issue, they tried to sell me another heater core replacement, then returning my truck with end alignment work that has positive camber causing excessive wear to the outside of the tires, their response, "you pull a trailer that's the reason for the tire wear" are you kidding me? This is why trucks exist, morons! This service department could not remove a fuel filler cap correctly...AVOID this place like the plague!!!! I warned you! My 5 year old could do better work! Oh, I almost forgot, recall for drag link (front suspension) bolts work loose, their fix? "We weld the nuts so they can't move... or be removed, another moment of stupidity!!!! Don't trust these people, all headed up by Service Manager Shannon Buie, excellent management of idiots!!! Good job! And one more thing, they had my truck 5 days, and not one phone call, even after multiple calls for status, end of 5th day, I showed up, not even touched the truck! There's a very tall older man that I assume works in management in the shop area, and he stands right over the top of you in conversation and it's uncomfortable, also he speaks way too loud. Would not provide a loaner, would not drive me more than 20 minutes home. I recently purchased a used vehicle from this organization. About two weeks after I purchased the vehicle, the brakes began to sqeek. I took the car in and my salesman took it to service. The service rep. Named David was kind and professional at all times. He told me the brAkes and rotors were good, but in order to stop the noise I would have to replace the brakes. He stated, the dealership had declined to pay for the brakes and it would cost me $600. I asked who I would need to speak to about this and he stated I would need to speak with Terry Collins the service manager. David went to him to explain the situation with me in tow. Terry Collins went off. I have never see a supposedly professional behave in this manner. He never addresses me, he told David, you need to take her to used cars. They are not going to pay for this and it out of my hands. Tell her to go over there. (This was yelled through the door.). I don't have time to deal with this. Not my problem. He never addressed me as a customer,he was rude, condescending and spoke to as if I was some kid off the school bus. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Not even looking at the fact I had to go back across the campus to speak to the used car manner to resolve this problem..YOU MEAN TERRY COLLINS IS SO Important that he could not have picked up the telephone to resolve this with the used car manager. I was not worth or respected as a customer to treated with dignity and respect. I had not purchased a car in 12 years. I was out of town, called in my information, and just went in signed my paperwork and picked up my car. The type of customer any dealership wants because there are no issues obtaining financing etc. So I walk across the campus,because they have my car, and speak to the used car manager. I ask him why would I pay $600 to replace the brakes on a $23,000 dollar car I purchased 2 weeks ago. He told me I purchased the car two months ago, even though he was holding the sales document in his hand. He then told he didn't understand why if the brakes were good, why they needed to be replaced...my thought exactly. He then left the room, never to return. The salesman came in and gave me a rental car. My brakes were fixed. What kind of customer service do you have where the sales managers and the service managers do not communicate with each other? Why would I have to walk across the campus to resolve something that could have been resolved by a phone call? Why did the used car manager, not have the common courtesy to come back and tell me resolution? I was not loud, irrational, irate or even disrespectful. But these managers were. I've had my Jeep serviced at Don Davis a few times and I'm never very happy with my experience. The service advisers are hit or miss - either it's a young go-getter who's excited to help but doesn't really know what they're doing, or they've been there a while and seem to know what they're doing but are bitter and not very nice/helpful. A couple of my main complaints: 1. They refuse to perform recall services on the weekends. It's not my fault that the manufacturer messed up and has to replace something on my car, so why should I have to miss work on a weekday dealing with your service department? It's already a hassle that I have to come in to have it fixed in the first place and is Jeep's fault, not mine. 2. I spent over $1,300 on repairs and when I picked up my car they had left a light on in the backseat (good thing it was dark already so I noticed or I would have had a dead battery the next morning), they left a bunch of screws in my cup holder from when they were working, and they didn't even wash my car. For $1,300 of repair work and 3 days at your shop and you couldn't even run it through the car wash? Bad customer service. read more
