Including Spanish-speaking servers and cooks, which is always a good sign, although I don't know if they were Peruvian at least it's in the ballpark LOL. Went for a local lunch, and boy was I surprised. Since that first visit, I have been back six more times, two of those times with friends and neighbors. I've had the dark chicken platter, beef heart, and the lamb stew. The sides are wonderful, and you will go home with leftovers. Friends had the sub (kids), friends rice, salad, and chicken. All raved on the portions and taste. The last visit the adults had their special drink, which was a bit pricey, unusual flavor, but VERY good. The folks working there are super friendly and helpful. Fantastic fresh rotisserie chicken. Wether rotisserie or grilled, Im not sure of but it was great nonetheless! I was not a fan of the macaroni and cheese or the rice. Bit that chicken was perfect in every way I would want my chicken since I am not a fan of fried chicken unless its served with a waffle . I give this place 5 stars because the chicken was so great I really didnt mind that my sides were not as great as the chicken was. I ate the whole chicken . I have not visit this place since before the pandemic took over. I was in Ashland today and decided to take a second visit it was a good idea. I try the tallarines con pollo saltado it was real good, the size will be enough for two people and super fresh. I like it better than chicken loa mean from the Chinese restaurant. Fire and chicken is a great place to grab a quick and really filling meal. The tacos require two hands! These aren't your small little Taco Bell style tacos, these are loaded up and the flavor of the food is fresh! The Peruvian style chicken and the steak are very good. I am a sweet plantain guy and these plantains are awesome! The staff every time I've been here has always been very friendly. They have a larger menu to choose from however I have only had the tacos and the burritos along with the plantains. Went to Spotsylvania location for lunch and had the best wings I have ever had and customer service was outstandin!

Literally waited in the parking lot for 65 minutes after being told the food would be prepared in 10 minutes. Despite the wait, even then, the food was just ok... The staff did not take me seriously the entire time. The place used to be good before they remodeled, but now it just smells like cigarette smoke, and is only moderately acceptable to eat at when the weather is cool enough to sit outside. Massively disappointing experience, and will likely be my final time coming here. Go find a Chicken Fiesta, you'll be infinitely more happy even if you have to drive an extra 10 minutes. With any luck, this place will shut down in the near future and be replaced by a more acceptable dining facility. read more

The service was outstanding! They were about to close and we were afraid we wouldn't get the best service, BUT we had an amazing experience. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area! We had a party of 7 and each of us enjoyed the food. We had Lomo Saltado, fajitas, a seafood rice and the beef tallarin. I would definitely eat here again! We have only ever had takeout, but it is always delicious. We get the whole Peruvian chicken with various sides to feed the family. The chicken is incredibly flavorful. All of the sides are good.
