I walked in to see their cheese factory and was surprised by their different flavors of cheddar. I like dairy products but dairy products don't like me, so I didn't pick anything up this time. The petting zoo was the most intriguing to me. Most of the animals were excited to be fed while others were just hanging out in the shade. Their enclosures looked a little small for them though. There was only one rabbit who was hiding away in their little house. It looked like it could use some grass to hop around in. I wish the hand sanitizer dispensers were filled. Every single one was empty, but I eventually found the restroom to wash off. I noticed there's a dog park here too. I'm hoping I could come back here with my dog during our next road trip. I'm sure he'd enjoy this change of scenery.

We first asked her if they have any seafood choices, to which she said "no". Then we asked for a menu, and literally the first thing on the menu was a Salmon salad. We ordered that and a few more dishes and a hot tea. She rolled her eyes at us every time we asked about the dressing on the side or a substitute for a side. And then we asked for a cup of hot tea, and she hands us a clear plastic cup. I told her it would melt and she looked at me with such attitude, as if I said something offensive or inappropriate. She kept huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes. We ended up canceling the whole order and leaving. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! We had a large group, but we were helped quickly. The cashier even rearranged the tables so we could all sit together, which was such a thoughtful touch. The dining area was spacious, the bathrooms were clean, and the music wasn't too loud, making for a comfortable atmosphere. A pro and con was that we were given a bunch of to-go plastic bowls for the buns so it was easy to share food...and we were easily able to bring leftovers back to the hotel. However, it doesn't really add to the aesthetic or experience and it's not environmentally friendly. So I docked a star for that. There are other options like having sugarcane containers that are compostable. (Compostable plastic isn't even accepted in the compost by my waste management company). The concept of having American BBq and Asian cuisine is interesting, but I was disappointed there wasn't more fusion. Maybe the Spicy Brisket Ramen is their fusion item? Either way, we enjoyed our meal and would be interested in returning if there were more options added to the menu.
