We got a new washer / dryer, but when it was delivered, they discovered that the water was leaking from the valve so I needed it fixed. After trying to get quotes from several handymen, and having slow responses, we decided to get it "done right"! I sent a message, got a response, and all within 2 hours, Christian showed up ready to get it done. He also hooked up the gas line to the dryer for us. While he was here, I asked some general questions I've had about our plumbing and he was happy to answer them. Today I had Done Rite Plumbing service my shower. The Technician Logan Poirier was very informative did an excellent job with the repair if replacing a shower cartridge. He also told me the old cartridge has a life time warranty with free replacement. An earlier plumbing contractor told me they may have tocut a section of the shower wall to trace piping, replace a new valve and new water boundary. Logan saved me over a couple thousand dollars. While no one wants to spend thousands of dollars to repair an old cast iron sewer pipe, Dee and Danny made the process as painless as possible. Dee provided a detailed overview of how they'd test the pipe before offering recommendations. Once they discovered small cracks, we decided to move forward with a liner and also install a missing valve. After Danny dug up part of our backyard, he left it better looking than it was before. I always get multiple estimates on big projects; another company wanted to dig up our concrete slab foundation and lay new pipe. I'm glad I chose Done-Rite. read more

We smelled gas...commence freak out. So we called So Cal Gas and they came out to assess. They found two gas leaks: one that So Cal Gas fixed and then one that they said was our problem. Well, Done-Rite Plumbing and Rooter fixed that up for us. I called on a Monday and they could send someone out the next morning. We ended up needing a pretty extensive fix and they answered all of our questions before getting authorization from us to go out and get the parts that were needed. The whole thing was fixed quickly and we felt really good about the service we received. Would I use them again? Yes, and we will. We actually have other plumbing projects we have been putting off and we were able to get recommendations on exactly what we need to order and then they will come and swap out what we have. A few stumbles, but I DID end up with the toilet replacement I was looking for. Seeing really good reviews on Google, I tried using the 'message sent thru Google' means of reaching out & that did nothing. SO, I went old school & just called. Tiffany was very polite & helpful in getting me a plumber that week...& great text communication throughout the process. Sean came out, measured for a new toilet, and was also very friendly & polite. There turned out to be a communication issue & we ended up with the wrong type and size of toilet for the bathroom. Bothered by the situation (the toilet was too high for my use), I called Tiffany the next morning for some help with this, she spoke to the manager & Dave called me back quickly and personally. He arranged to have Sean return later that day & install the proper type & size of toilet. OK, this is embarrassing, but we had a sewage line that was clogged for a few weeks. I refused to pay the money to have a professional come and unclog it. So I put copper sulfate crystals for a few weeks, but nothing worked. I ended up having to call Danny and he fixed it in a few minutes. It was my connection from my clean out that had roots that came in between the ABS connector. Now we can go back to using our shower and our bathrooms. Great job by Austin coming to save the day. Shower valve was broken and he came and changed out the cartridge put everything back together and was very nice and clean. He wore shoe covers which is very important because I have black wood floors. I really appreciate the company coming out so fast and efficient and the price was right. Definitely charge waaay over standard pricing. They charge more than even high rate prices. They charge a $80 fee just to look at it, so you get trapped at either paying for nothing or paying their high service charges. And I am sure those charges go towards paying for the pristine yelp reviews. They are prompt and quick. I will give them that. But at these rates you can probably have enough workers to be ready at any time to do simple jobs at extreme prices. Go with somewhere that does a free inspection. Logan came out so quickly after we found a leaking valve. He explained to us what needed to be done. He did great work to replace all 3 valves so we won't have an issue in the future. I had to have a gas valve replaced in order to hook up new stove. I called on Monday afternoon and they were able to get me on the schedule for noon the next day. They even texted me to let me know when their guy was on his way and included a photo so I would know him when I saw him. It was a simple, unexpected gesture that I found very thoughtful. Dean Griggs, (Their plumber? Technician? Star employee? Not sure of his job title, but, anyway, their guy Dean) showed up on time, looked professional and was very friendly and helpful. The job I had assumed would take quite a while to complete, Dean had finished in a very few minutes. Then he went ahead and finished hooking up my stove (saving me the additional hassle of rescheduling the original installation crew to come back out and complete the job). He even tested all of the the burners before he left. And I should add that the price for all of this service was about 40% less than I had been expecting. So, good value, professional, friendly and efficient employee who showed up on time and went out of his way to be helpful, and, on top of all that, I received fast service on very short notice.
