I unexpectedly needed an extensive major re-drain of the whole house. It was a very big project, and even though the house was a mess (before this all happened) - they did an excellent job working around all of it. They came with a large crew a few days before Christmas and finished everything that day. Everyone was very professional, and they took great care to cover floors, put up plastic, and they left things cleaner and in better shape than they were when they got there! I cannot say enough good things about Jon! He managed the large crew and went above and beyond to help me move things that I could not move - and in general, made the process so much more tolerable- given my embarrassment for the condition of the house. Dee is also great! I am very appreciative that he was willing to work with me budget-wise, and he made sure that everything was taken care of perfectly! Also done wrong by done rite. Thought I had a gas leak due to increasing monthly gas bill, it got up to $455. Scared, I called done right. My second time hiring them. They sent Danny V. to my house (Please see Done Rite's yelp review dated 2 months prior to this review which was written by a Danny V and decribed how great Danny is).. how coincidental, no? Danny V swore I had a leak after doing a leak detection test, but he didnt find any leak at any of my appliances or visible pipes. He insisted that the leak was in the walls or underground, said his company would have to "Swiss cheese" the walls and break my floors to find the leak, and that he recommended a full house re-piping, and ensured me that insurance wouldn't cover the expense. I got so worked up with fear of explosion and cost. Danny informed me right before leaving that he had an idea and wanted to change out my laundry room valve that supplied the dryer. A small room that always has the doors closed and never once smelled of natural gas. He never quoted me before doing the job. He came back and said "good news" it worked, then informed me of the $275 cost of repair. While he was switching out the valve, I logged into the gas company site to show Danny the history of my gas bill increase only to discover that the issue was my auto payments had stopped going through. My current charges were only $25 with $430 in past due charges. Turns out there was no reason to call done rite in the first place, I had made a very dumb move by not checking the payment history first. I knew Danny was lying about the laundry room leak immediately since he initially said that my appliances and valve were fine. But the valve had already been replaced at that point. I spoke with the manager who said Danny is trustworthy (again see Danny V's yelp review, and you decide for yourself) and that he took Danny's side in this matter. The manager gave an "explanation" that would be hard for any non-plumber to prove wrong. The only people who know I was flat out lied to are me, Danny and the manager. "To help me out" the manager knocked $100 off of my $560 bill for work that I did not need. He said that I had to pay for the cost of the parts and labor involved [in swindling me] Danny asked me to write a review before he left so he can get a bonus, and gave me his business card. Let me first start by saying I am not one to write reviews but being so happy and impressed with Done-Rite Plumbing, I wanted to write this review. I have used this company 5 times now. Each job was major, sealing sewer line from house to sewer and fixing drainage under house due to ficus tree roots compromising my drains 3 separate times (never plant ficus trees anywhere homes are). My most recent job was a whole house repiping due to a slab leak. They take great pride in not just doing a good job but the best possible job. Everyone is very professional. They are always timely. They were very tolerant of my cleanliness particularities. All furniture was covered, floors were protected, and they cleaned above and beyond after the work was completed. There were some after the job trouble shooting but they remained responsive and addressed any issues right away. Their price point may be higher than your local plumber but it is well worth it to have the peace of mind that anything they do will be "Done-Rite", not just kind of right but by the book right. I truly believe you get what you pay for. Plumbing is never something that should be done cheaply. Man I have nothing but great things to say about Done-Rite. I called them to come install a water line for my fridge, and Danny came out to give me an estimate. Not only did he do that, but he notified me of water damage under the sink that had started with the previous owners of the home. Since we just purchased the house, he recommended us to another company who has been helping us with the restoration of the whole kitchen. Not only did Danny do a thorough inspection, but he's been helping us out during this whole process as well. Once the kitchen starts the reconstruction phase, we'll be having Done-Rite install our water line and reverse osmosis. Wonderful experience working with Done-Rite Plumbing to get a water pressure reducing valve replaced for our home. I spoke with Tiffany over the phone who was so helpful, friendly and professional. She help set up the initial appointment and had me send in pictures of what I needed to get done including the water PRV that I already purchased at Home Depot. She called me back within 10 minutes and gave me a reasonable quote AND set-up an appointment for installation that same day! Amazingly fast turn-around time and truly a pleasure to work with. While no one wants to spend thousands of dollars to repair an old cast iron sewer pipe, Dee and Danny made the process as painless as possible. Dee provided a detailed overview of how they'd test the pipe before offering recommendations. Once they discovered small cracks, we decided to move forward with a liner and also install a missing valve. After Danny dug up part of our backyard, he left it better looking than it was before. I'm very impressed with professionalism of the Done-Rite crew! Danny and Mo first came to diagnose a potential slab leak in the backyard of my townhouse in La Habra. The outdoor pipe sounded like it was running when all the valves were shut and the water heater kept running for a week. They came with the right tools to find the leak which was indeed a slab leak of the cold water line. Danny made the right call to change both the cold and hot water lines because they were of the same age. After I gave the OK for the work, a second truck came with Victor and Jon. The whole crew worked efficiently together: jackhammering, replacing the pipes with pex, shoveling the dirt back, and finally pouring cement over the dirt. They left the place as clean as before, all completed within half a work day. I truly appreciate their efficiency, top notch customer service, and excellent attitude. We got a new washer / dryer, but when it was delivered, they discovered that the water was leaking from the valve so I needed it fixed. After trying to get quotes from several handymen, and having slow responses, we decided to get it "done right"! I sent a message, got a response, and all within 2 hours, Christian showed up ready to get it done. He also hooked up the gas line to the dryer for us. Today I had Done Rite Plumbing service my shower. The Technician Logan Poirier was very informative did an excellent job with the repair if replacing a shower cartridge. He also told me the old cartridge has a life time warranty with free replacement. An earlier plumbing contractor told me they may have tocut a section of the shower wall to trace piping, replace a new valve and new water boundary. Logan saved me over a couple thousand dollars. A few stumbles, but I DID end up with the toilet replacement I was looking for. Seeing really good reviews on Google, I tried using the 'message sent thru Google' means of reaching out & that did nothing. SO, I went old school & just called. Tiffany was very polite & helpful in getting me a plumber that week...& great text communication throughout the process. Sean came out, measured for a new toilet, and was also very friendly & polite. There turned out to be a communication issue & we ended up with the wrong type and size of toilet for the bathroom. Bothered by the situation (the toilet was too high for my use), I called Tiffany the next morning for some help with this, she spoke to the manager & Dave called me back quickly and personally. He arranged to have Sean return later that day & install the proper type & size of toilet. We smelled gas...commence freak out. So we called So Cal Gas and they came out to assess. They found two gas leaks: one that So Cal Gas fixed and then one that they said was our problem. Well, Done-Rite Plumbing and Rooter fixed that up for us. I called on a Monday and they could send someone out the next morning. We ended up needing a pretty extensive fix and they answered all of our questions before getting authorization from us to go out and get the parts that were needed. The whole thing was fixed quickly and we felt really good about the service we received. Would I use them again? Yes, and we will. We actually have other plumbing projects we have been putting off and we were able to get recommendations on exactly what we need to order and then they will come and swap out what we have. OK, this is embarrassing, but we had a sewage line that was clogged for a few weeks. I refused to pay the money to have a professional come and unclog it. So I put copper sulfate crystals for a few weeks, but nothing worked. I ended up having to call Danny and he fixed it in a few minutes. It was my connection from my clean out that had roots that came in between the ABS connector. Now we can go back to using our shower and our bathrooms. Danny, the plumber, and Tiffany, the customer service lady who made the appointment were super professional and super helpful! Also, very, very, very friendly! Highly recommend this company. Great job by Austin coming to save the day. Shower valve was broken and he came and changed out the cartridge put everything back together and was very nice and clean. He wore shoe covers which is very important because I have black wood floors. I really appreciate the company coming out so fast and efficient and the price was right.
