I 've visited all of Korean sashimi restaurants in Flushing. This place is kinda new and attractive because me and my son love Tuna. I ordered all u can eat which is $75 / person. It was quite expensive for me but I really want to try many different parts as much as I can. Side dish were not bad but the waitress kept rushing us to finish them. We try not to be full before they served Tuna. The first round was ok. They served 5 different parts of tuna 5-10 pieces each. I asked them refill it. They refilled red parts only. What they said was this place is new, they are very busy , it is too hard to serve because the tuna came from Korea and etc.. I paid $169 +$20 tip for two. I consider myself to be a pretty big seafood fan. I came here to try the 'Tuna Large'. Firstly, I really liked the visual presentation of the food. They put a lot of effort into showing the customers that this is high quality food. One way they express that is...by sprinkling thin gold powders on top of the sashimi. So right off the bat this was a special experience for me because... how often does one get to eat gold am I right? Now for the food; I thought the freshness of the tuna was incredible. I've never had fresher tuna in my life. The tuna is chilled almost to a texture of an ice cream. Their side dishes are also very good complementary choices matching the freshness and unique texture. After eating chilled sea food the restaurant services their guests with Meh-oon-tang (literal definition being spicy soup) and a serving of rice with various seasonings. These service foods are very hot and so I really liked how they let you experience food in so many great ways like texture and temperature. The price is pretty strong so beware. Other than that, I hope everyone who tries this place out will also have great experience with their food like I did. read more

This place is so overpriced and the portions are so small. I went here with my mother today & we left with our wallets feeling as empty as our stomachs. We did the $80 package after the waiter insisting that the $100 package was too much for us to eat. I think they were just being lazy and didn't want to make all that much sushi. We ate it and were still very hungry. To spend $80 on a meal for two and still be hungry is just crazy. The place is really nice in terms of appearance, but the looks are deceiving. I would never go to this place ever again and probably just recommend finding an all you can eat place for like $25-$30 a person. read more

The food wasnt bad but I wasnt properly served when asked to take my leftover sashimi to go. I normally other places put it on a bed of ice. She just straight up refused. And I told her it was for my dog who I feed raw. She went on for 5 minutes why she definitely cant after I said that. Listen to me, i dont need her opinion. I needed service. I needed the fish to go. We spent over a thousand dollars and tipped her 200 for the service and she couldnt even do her job. Didn't receive any tempura so when we asked for it, waitress simply told us that oh we can't make any tempura today. I was like seriously? You can't make any fried dishes? First time to this place. The waiter that serve us only speak korean so we have to point everything to him. And we thought he would understand, but he came back to our table n ask what he order again. The waiter never explain how big is the portion so then we just order. Terrible. I had ordered chirashi (sashimi over rice) from here twice and gotten food poisoning both times. When I had it for the first day, I didn't know that this had caused me to become sick. I vomited all night long to the point that sour fluid came out. I assumed that I was just not feeling well and let it go. Few days later, I had it again, this time with my family. This time, the whole family got food poisoning. The whole family was up all night long and my daughters could not attend school the next day. They even refused to eat anything for the whole day. When I called the store and told what happened, the reply was "Oh? We'll look into it." Nothing else. I spoke nicely because I didn't want to disturb the business. However, there was not a single word or tone of apology. Normally if someone calls in for food poisoning, isn't it normal to at least say sorry or compensate for providing such terrible quality food? I usually don't like writing bad reviews, but this business deserves one because my friend also complained about getting terribly sick after eating sashimi from this place a few days ago. I am only giving 3* because of the way we were treated. The food is amazing. Fresh food and great decorative plates with decent portion. We went for dinner and were told we had to sit downstairs. There was atleast 3 tables open upstairs but they didn't want to give 2 people a 4 person table upstairs... I don't like fighting so I said okay. Downstairs is creepy.. literally like a basement.. we got cold tea and after I finished it quickly to ask for a refill of a hot one it took over 15 min and telling 3 people to get the refill.. sitting downstairs is UNBEARABLE... DO NOT SIT DOWNSTAIRS... not only do you get ignored the entire night but if they move any chairs upstairs or people walk...... you hear it and you hear it LOUD!!!... you also only have 3 dinner choices if you want to spend under 20$. Went there last Friday. It was a pretty bad experience. They were fixing the light. I asked them if they could cover it up cuz it was pretty dusty. The waitress gave us some napkins ... For what?! To cover my food?! I went there with 7 friends and two kids. We ordered a tuna special $220 first. The waitress kept telling us it's only for 5 people, it's not gonna be enough food for us. We told her that we will order something else. Not everyone eats raw fish... She repeated herself 3 times .. it's not gonna be enough for us. What kind of language are we talking about now? I feel they are so pushy to ask us order more food. Tuna special doest taste good. Tuna fish was frozen. U can't really taste the texture. It tastes like tuna sorbet...
