5 stars goes to Quinton, our waiter. Quinton had great recommendations, frequently checked on us, and was so kind. 4 stars only for seating accommodations. Reservations for our anniversary dinner were made well in advance yet we were seated right next to the bar in a small 2 person table with uncomfortable chairs - would have preferred a more secluded area with a booth. 5 stars for the food: we had the lobster escargot (little on the salty side but still tasty), lobster bisque (the base was outstanding, lobster was cold), truffle Mac and cheese (my favorite), mashed potatoes, and 6 oz, filets (cooked to perfection). Drinks: espresso martini - perfectly blended by our waiter Quinton and a vodka club soda and cranberry (can't mess that one up). Each time the chef/cook in the kitchen acted disgusted and started tossing stuff around in the kitchen like a child. When they brought the 2nd steak back they reused the same side items and they were not very good. Asked for fresh with the 3rd steak and they were good. Bottom line they never got the steak cook properly and service was excessively slow for not being busy. We saw our appetizer sitting and waiting for someone to run it to the table but that took 15 minutes and ended up cold. Despite the cost of this steakhouse the ambience is pretty casual. I've got to be honest, being an avid steak lover and going to some of the larger name restaurants in the bay, I don't believe the quality or quantity warrant the price of this location. For an a la carte cost this location isn't comparable to some of the bigger names of our city. The taste was ok. My Pittsburgh rare NY strip came out SUPER charred on one side, they did rectify the situation quickly but the steak was still pretty regular in comparison to others I've had. Staff was friendly. The baby Bella's weren't great. The crab dip was amazing, the mashed potatoes were good. Not incredibly impressed by the lobster bisque either. We came for dinner last night after having drove by during the day and deciding it looked interesting. We didn't make a reservation which we should of as even on a Wednesday night all tables were full so we had to sit at the bar. We ordered a couple dishes to share which were the tempura lobster (delicious but wasn't really a tempura, it was a battered and fried lobster), the short rib flat bread (so good!), the fried chicken (so tender with so much flavor!) with potato planks (eh) and tequila habanero queso (no bueno) and the beer battered onion rings (huge and crispy). For the most part the food was good, above average and it was nice to try a tapas style dinner. Everything was enjoyable or at least nice to try. I honestly can't say I'll be back. I called a week in advanced to make a reservation for 9, outside seating. We arrive to be told they have our table inside and that it was never noted on the reservation we wanted outside. With today's Covid climate, this can't be an unusual request. They accommodated us after re-working a few things. Food wise: my Delmonico was very tasty, a little salty though. Where the issue came is when we asked for Worcestershire Sauce. Now, if you are going to charge these type of prices I do not expect to be given a bottle of Publix sauce. I get things happen and you may need to supplement Publix condiments if you run out but at least keep up the appearance and put it in a little dish or something. I started off with a drink called "Queen of hearts" which was very delicious! Becca then recommended "Buck Wild" for my second drink which was also phenomenal. The drinks were so good I literally could have had five more of each drink if I didn't have to drive home! Kudos to the bartender! I had the "bbq flatbread" as an appetizer and the "Delmonico steak" which was cooked to perfection! The flavor in that steak was so good I had to save some to take home so my boyfriend can try it! Additionally, I had the "balsamic vegetables" which was also delicious. And the chocolate cake was such a generous portion and it was so delectable!
