I went to Donut Country for the first time the other day and I am so impressed. I love being able to go through a drive thru, and the staff was extremely friendly. I asked for a dozen donuts and had them pick for me and they were all great. I love the lemon poppyseed donut, but you really can't beat this glazed donut. SO good. Tried the glazed donut and it was amazing!! Better than Krispy Kreme and that says a lot. Although they're not as melt-in-your-mouth as Krispy Kreme is, the glaze is perfectly sweet with a good vanilla flavor and the dough is soft and pillowy. Didn't try their other donuts but I loved the glazed one so much I'm not sure I need to. Definitely give them a try! read more

What do I even say about my hometown donut shop??? In my bio it says "donut pro"...well the reason I am is because I'm constantly looking for a place as good as this one in other cities. Donut Country cannot be beat, especially if you look at the total of everything about this place: the atmosphere, the inside, the costumer service, the donut taste and quality, the list goes on and on. This place has been there for me through many celebrations, heart aches, hunger, and just plain old days. It comfortable, cozy, friendly, and just there for catch-ups with friends. When they close in the winter for a short period of time, it is the worst of times truly. haha There donuts cannot be beat. Donuts are always good for me and I love to go and get their original classic donut. Service is always really good and always get my order right. Can't say much about the atmosphere as I don't dine in but it seems very nice. I will say tho that it's very hard to determine what to get. The menu isn't right to what's in the store cuz it's just a general menu. They should implement one where it changes to only what they have made that day. I often have to ask and they name them so fast I just get the same thing. Other than that I really enjoy their donuts besides the yellow cream filled ones. It tastes like fake pudding and leaves a bad aftertaste. I hope they can implement some sort of system to make it easier to order read more

So, like the doughnuts are amazing, the staff is friendly but two days in a row we were given a wrong order. First day a maple doughnut was ordered and we got a caramel. Second day, ordered a BLT w/mayo and pimento. Was charged $2.75 for the pimento add on. No problem. But got down the road to discover I had a "dry" BLT with no pimento or mayo. Couldn't eat it like that. So I paid almost $10.00 for 2 strips of bacon. Really! Do my advice is that if you do order there you should really, I mean really check your order closely BEFORE leaving the premises. read more

This place is busy! When we arrived, we knew we had chosen well. Since donuts are my spirit food we got a dozen donuts. I'm not a huge yeast donut fan bur let me tell you the maple glazed donut is something dreams are made of. We mostly got cake donuts. The old fashioned and pumpkin spice were awesome but the red velvet was a bit dry. The coffee cake one was also amazing. We froze some so we could continue to enjoy. Local family owned business that has been a staple in Murfreesboro since 1986. Donuts are made fresh daily. My go to donuts are the chocolate cream filled and Dutch crumb. However, I have not come across one of their donuts yet that I didn't like. My favorite lunch item has to be the homemade chicken salad sandwich. Pairs great with a donut. What a discovery! I loved in Middle TN for 20+ years but didn't have these donuts until I moved away and came back to visit. I just had the regular glazed and chocolate frosted but they were marvelous. Just right density and sweetness. Delicious. read more

Donut Country has long been my go-to in Murfreesboro. I love helping out local businesses and this one takes the cake, er, dough. Best "Boston cream" donuts I've ever had! (I'm not sure it's truly "Boston cream" though as everywhere has a different opinion on what cream is what-- Thats what they call the white fluffy cream here.) Best donuts in the boro by far. A lot of donut shops have opened and closed over the years, but donut country remains. And they remain for good reason: they're just plain good. Forget about Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme. These are the real deal traditional donuts. I only wish they had a shop on my side of town! read more

Bo and Kristy recently purchased Donut Country from Kristy's parents, Rick and Carol Egles, who owned Donut Country for over thirty years. Bo and Kristy have two children and Bo is a realtor with Keller Williams and recently retired from the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department after 17 years of service and Kristy graduated from MTSU and practiced Human Resources for over 13 years. Both are very excited to continue to provide Murfreesboro with the best donuts in town!

I made the mistake of "tasting" it while driving home. I ended up driving down memorial with my knee eating the pork chops like chicken nuggets dipping them into the gravy! Jai the owner came out to introduce himself and was super friendly! He has only been open for a couple of months and is still working out some kinks and training the staff. I can't wait for this restaurant to blossom and give other Murfreesboro restaurants a run for their money!

So I've had Five Daughters and Foxes Donut den and a few other places around TN BUT this is the best classic donut place in TN by a looong shot!!! Emphasis on classic...no cronuts or crazy cereal toppings so don't expect a lot of instagram worthy options BUT they have perfected the glazed...especially if they are still warm. I live in Nashville but will drive 40 minutes at midnight just to have a fresh glazed donut from donut country and I advise you do the same! Besides the classic glazed, my favs are the Dutch Crumb donut which is a cake donut with powder sugar and cinnamon crumb goodness on top...very unique and delicious. And I also love the glazed with buttercream frosting. Also, this place is open 24/7 and they carry Purity milk chocolate milk...and none of that Tru moo garbage. The prices are extremely cheap. Bought an assorted dozen for about $10. I could go on but overall if you're looking for a sweet country to call home then Donut Country is where you belong! read more

Service not so good. Slow & Rude service on Sun, @ Rutherford Blvd, store. Avoid the Rutherford Blvd store and go to the main Store on Memorial. The donuts really are fabulous! Have been going there for years. The best donuts in Middle TN!!! I have never been a fan of cake donuts or choc covered/white cream filled-I love both from this place!!! I love donuts, especially KK's, but the filled donuts here are better than KK's. Have never had bad service @ Memorial Blvd location. Rutherford Blvd just has rude & ignorant people working on the week-ends. Waited in drive thru line while server held a conversation with the person in the vehicle at the window. Another vehicle pulled up (after i arrived) and walked to the window-they were served. So I got out and went to the window started ordering-then finally-driver @ drive thru drove off. A lot has been said about going in at midnight for fresh doughnuts- do NOT forget about the holes!!! By going in the middle of the night, you have access to a giant bag of light, warm doughnut holes and they are DIRT CHEAP! So good, the coffee is good, it's allllll good. read more
