Second time here. Went once a few years ago. Their specialty donuts are very good such as the cannoli cream and the hostess donut but the plainer basic donuts weren't anything to write home about for me but that is just my opinion as they weren't bad just not my cup of tea. I got the donuts half an hr before the store close, it was cold so I didn't expect it will taste good, but surprisingly it's amazing, melt in the mouth. Support your local businesses! I did not know Donut Crazy was at the train station so it would not surprise me to learn others don't as well. IMO, they are a steal at $2.09 when the same jelly donut at Dunkin Doughnuts was $1.49 for more half the size and sub par ingredients. This place used to be great or maybe Saturday shift is bad but counter/cashier service midday on a Saturday was very unfriendly almost rude and the bacon egg and cheese I ordered was terrible--only bacon bits not whole slices, a whisper of cheese I couldn't even see and they couldn't even be bothered to cut the roll. Very disappointed. For the prices you pay this should be much better. Train your staff what customer service means please. The coffee is better midweek too. For someone crazy about donuts, Donut Crazy is my jam! I used to walk by all these trendy donut shops in the city while working but just wasn't in the mood for a donut. Having a donut place here in town is fantastic! The mix of options is legit, most days there are close to 24 different donuts, a mix of "regular" and premium. They are all outrageously good. Ok so I love the variety, and when they are fresh they are delish! I went today around 3 and bought 6 donuts- they were already stale sadly. I wish I knew a trick to bring them back to life. Going late in the day that's on me, but I also ordered an iced oat milk matcha to the tune of almost $7 and it was undrinkable. The girl put the matcha at the bottom and just poured oat milk on top- no shake, no mix. They also use a gross culinary grade matcha that I've had before and didn't like..as well as oat planet milk which is just absolutely disgusting. That was $7 down the drain. The best part is, not only are the donuts amazing, but the environments and decor actually have character and flavor unlike most donut spots. The only downside to the donuts are that they aren't fresh and hot out of the oven...thing is, you can't have it both ways...Crazy and Hot...hot melts crazy unless you want to wait 20 minutes for one crazy donut. I'm not sure what the name of the donut I trued was called. It was a plain donut with blue frosting and cookie crumble on top. My husband got a plain glazed donut. I'm not a donut lover so if you love donuts you should probably stop reading. The donuts were too sweet and too dry. I thought the frosting did not go well with the donut at all. They have a menu of staples that essentially never changes as well as a menu that changes monthly with all new specials, usually jiving with the seasons and holidays! Their donuts are creative, fun and delicious. They also serve great coffee and some decent breakfast options like sandwiches, avocado toast, etc. The Westport location is actually a part of the train station, so it's not huge, or your typical coffee house atmosphere. You will also leave always smelling like frying oil. The staff is always super kind, especially in this location. My only wish is that Donut Crazy would dive into the world of brioche donuts. Deviant Donuts in Mystic, CT, PV Donuts in Providence, RI and Grindstone in NY, as well as a number of other shops have been doing this for some time and it is a far superior donut. But for now, Donut Crazy is killing it in terms of the traditional yeast raised and cake based donuts. read more

Good food, decent drinks. My favorite part about Donut crazy is the donuts...they are really unique! They have regular and crazy donuts. I'm all about the crazy donuts -- my favorites are cannoli and cookie dough. So delicious. I also appreciate any peanutbutter/chocolate combo but they don't have it often. I get the egg sandwhiches from time to time which are also great. Nothing special with how they are made but they taste delicious. My only real complaint is the cappuccino. If you've never tried Donut Crazy I totally recommend giving at least one donut a shot! (Although if you go in to the shop you'll likely end up wanting a lot more than just one!) The donuts are obviously more expensive than a Dunkin, but they are also obviously much more unique and of a higher quality. My personal favorite is the Nutella and that is also the favorite of so many people I have had try these donuts. There are so many to choose from everyone should find something they like here whether it's a classic glazed or a crazy canoli donut (the filled donuts are soooo heavy!) My favorite was the strawberry pop tart. It is a cake donut; so less airy and much more dense. Still dreaming about it. I come here (almost) every Saturday morning with my best friend to have breakfast. The donuts are incredible and the presentation is lovely. My friend always gets the Cookie Monster donut and she loves it. I usually get a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a coffee, and it is the most amazing combo. I've had my fair share of bacon egg and cheese sandwiches but this one has topped my list by far. The eggs are cooked perfectly and are fresh, and the bacon is crispy without being burnt. Additionally, the cheese isn't super sticky like most sliced cheeses. You can really taste the quality in the ingredients. Coffee is also always great and fresh. Personally, not a fan of donuts but my friend recommended I give it a try. I tried the cannoli flavored donut bc I love cannolis but it was just okay.
