Another great meal at Donut Hole and excellent customer service as usual. The waiting line situation was a bit awkward but once we were greeted by a host things loved smoothly from there. Not sure why but there is only one entrance and you have to wait outside to be seated. Door was literally locked. Our waitress was great (purple hair- I don't think we got her name). She accommodated our large party of 9with a couple of table moves as we were trying to sit together as a family and also be comfortable once the food arrived. Entrees came quickly and other than the fact that there were no pecans for the banana nut pancakes (such a bummer and wish we would have been told earlier cuz we would've ordered something else) everything was delicious. Highlights: Chorizo and eggs, sunrise bagel, monster omelette and the French toast. Lowlights: the ice water had dirty ice cubes and tasted a little off overall even in cups with lemon. Maybe the filter needs to be cleaned in the water or ice machine. If you havent been in a long time you should go back AND if you've never been you've gotta at least give it a try. The BEST DONUTS EVER!! We were in Mother's Day vacation and on our last day we ate here and man we wished we would have found this place sooner! The biscuits and gravy! Yum! The blt club sandwich was phenomenal! My husband had corned beef and hash and he said it was the best he's ever had and he is Air Force so he's been all over the world. The service was fantastic and they get busy but they have a great system to make it fast and a good experience. They have for home you can play while waiting which is convenient for kiddos:) The drinks and the donuts just were perfection! Next year we will be eating there the entire week! We were passing by to Rosemary Beach and Donut Hole was at road side, we decided to get some donuts as end of our Panama Beach trip. The line was long, we waited about 15 minutes to be able to select donuts. There are plenty of choices for donuts. We had Devils Food, Blueberry Filled, Dutch Crumb, Glazed, Plain. All the seats are for eating in customers, so we ate our donuts at our car. The donuts tasted really good, they are among the best that I had, creamy and rich. We were excited to try a local favorite, especially that we didn't get to it last time we were in the area. On the pro side we appreciated the different options for entertainment in the waiting area. The line was long but the wait was not too bad at all. There were many brunch options to choose from and portion sizes were generous. However I am truly shocked at all the good food reviews on here. At best the food tasted "average", the omelet was over salted, the hash browns were super greasy , the gravy had an aftertaste of cheap grease, the pancakes were kind of dry. Had a fantastic brunch here! They have a huge menu and a lot more than just donuts! They are typically on a wait but it goes quick. The portions are absolutely huge and the prices are really reasonable, especially considering how much food you get. Who doesn't love a great breakfast? We definitely got one here AND were able to avoid succumbing to the 1 Lb Apple Fritter (that looked amazing) as we walked in. The pancakes were on point, the bacon was GOOD bacon (as opposed to the cheap stuff) and the Huevos Rancheros were not too shabby for not being a Mexican restaurant! They also have all the traditional breakfast foods you would require. The place gets packed everyday, so if you don't want to wait, go early! We did try a few that evening, but they did not have a great selection. If you're in town, I would recommend hitting this place early. We arrived at Donut hole this morning. My husband was first in line and quickly another family lined up behind him. A lady in pink shirt was sitting in chair was grumbling about people getting in front of her. After about three more families lined up behind us the "lady" stormed to the front of the line and demanded a table. She was seated immediately w her adult son and three grands and others We had a party of seven (two of which were 2 small children) - we told waitress we would not mind splitting into two tables if it would get us seated sooner. She kept coming outside and getting people behind our party!!! Parties of six!! Two different times. We stopped her the third time!!! We got two tables after waiting 35 min in line watching people walk in from the "buying donuts only" side and getting seated ahead of the folks standing in line. My advice is to eat breakfast before you go!!! Don't go hungry!!!! Also!!! Shame on Donut Hole for not having a better system for seating patrons!! Take some advice from Cracker Barrel.
