YES!!! They make huaraches. A Michoacan dish that is really yummy but very hard to find. They give a variety of meat options and are generous with toppings. Legit street tacos! I come from SoCal so, I feel as if I have some experience to fairly judge :) Carne asada was very juicy and flavorful. I eat them plain, so I can only comment on the meat. ** FYI: they offer lime instead of lemon. Cheese enchiladas were delicious. Verde sauce had an enjoyable kick, but, was somewhat lacking in flavor for me. Loved the Avocado on top. Rice and beans portion was on the smaller side. But, I'm just being gluttonous at this point. Horchahta was good, a little on the sweeter side, but, that's a common complaint for me with ALL horchata. Doesn't stop me from drinking it tho... Love the food here! The service is usually excellent, too. Our favorites are the tacos (especially carne asada and carnitas). The green enchiladas are good, but a little on the spicy side for my taste. On the bakery side, I only tried their apple fritter. We frequent eat at this place and usually get great food and the servers are nice. BUT today after eating we generally buy donuts to bring home. I don't like certain things they do is this young short hair woman that works in the donut section sold us donuts that were sitting on a tray most of the day and a fresh tray next to it. Well, she grabbed the older donuts from the tray. I went outside and notice the donuts were dry so I brought it back to this young woman. She stated they were all the same and that this was the only time she would take them back. I told her give me the donuts from the other tray which looked fresh. She grabbed the new donuts from the older tray and I said No, I wanted it from the other tray. She stated they were all the same. I said No, I wanted it from the other tray. I picked the donuts and yes, it was way fresher. Just a suggestion..... don't sell any donuts/ foods that are old or not fresh because you will ruin your repetition as serving great food. We realize you want to sell your old donuts but at a risk of getting a bad reputation. When I returned the dry donuts, this person tried to put it back on the tray along with the old donuts to sell. Had a tres leche cake from there at a party one time and when a friend of ours was having a party I thought about them since that is where the cake came from. I looked on line and it didn't say anything about cakes so I called. Sure enough they said they do cakes. My husband went in and ordered a half sheet. It was beautiful and delicious! This place is great! It's taken me some time to find good restaurants in Prescott/Prescott Valley. The name of this restaurant is misleading for sure. I had no idea they'd have Mexican food. I come from a large city where we are spoiled with great options and this place definitely passes on my list! What stood out to me is how clean this place is. I love that! The staff is also very kind and helpful. Food: I ordered a Carne asada torta. It was delicious! The meat was not just all fat like some places use. I hate that. It was stuffed with delicious avocado, lettuce, sour cream, beans and Mexican cheese. I recommend it! My husband got menudo which was also delicious! They got it right. We took some bread home and it was so good! The donuts are very soft and moist. We also gave some to our neighbors and they loved them! We even went back and got a bag of day-old-donuts and they were still very moist and soft Definitely try this place. Authentic Mexican food and great pastries. Side note: One guy here complains that the "orejas" were very dry and flaky. That's exactly what orejas are supposed to be so they made them right. Food is great but their donuts kinda suck. I don't think they have the fryer hot enough so the donuts soak up more oil than they should and therefore are dense and leave a bit of a coating in your mouth. I would give a 3-4 star if they fix their donuts read more

Carne asada fries and tacos were not great. We asked for no onions but the meat is cooked in them which is a bad thing if you have a sensitivity to them, hence asking for no onions or at least mentioning it to the consumer. Besides that, the portions are incredibly small and an hour later we were deadly sick. So, my son and I wanted to try it out. I am not fond of their donuts, but I had read great reviews about the Mexican food. Everyone seemed to recommend the breakfast burritos and the green sauce, so we ordered those and some tacos. The chips and salsa were brought with our drinks. The chips were OK, nothing like most restaurants, they were like store bought chips, but the salsa was watery and very sour. Not a good omen for our food lol. It was not lime juice in the salsa, it was vinegar and a few little pieces of onion in a tomato broth. The burritos arrived, rather small, but not a problem. First bite... No taste. Nothing. Supposedly it was chorizo, egg, cheese and hash browns. We never found chorizo in the burritos, there was a few pieces of what looked like maybe some beef? But it was not chorizo. So onto the green sauce which the reviews have been raving about. It was green, but the resemblance to green sauce ends right there. It is watery and tastes like vinegar. No green sauce flavor at all. Just green vinegar. My son's street tacos arrived and they were rolled up and were not quite taquitos, but not street tacos. They were flavorless, but neither one of us wanted any more vinegar on our food, so we just left them. So, since they were not busy at all, I can't blame it on that. I do know that we will not be going back. We just moved into Prescott from PHX about 3 weeks ago. Having been spoiled in Phoenix in regards to everything donut and Mexican food related, we have been eager to find something comparable that would satisfy as well. We went to a local donut shop first but their donuts were incredibly yeasty and disappointing. Then I came across this place and we have been hooked. The donuts are comparable to BoSa (if you have ever had those). Additionally, they offer traditional Mexican pastries as well. If you're looking for something a bit more, this place makes authentic Mexican cuisine. Everything tastes fresh and you can tell the meat is high quality. The staff is super friendly as well and is great at offering suggestions if you're not sure what to get. My husband and I have looked everywhere here in Prescott Valley for a good Doughnut place. We finally found "The Doughnut Hole". We ordered several to try and I must say they were very heavy in consistency and tasted a bit greasy, not flavorful at all.This is the only place that we know of that sells donuts in the area. My husband in particular has this craving once in a while. I understand that there will be a" Dun-kin Donuts" place soon in Prescott Valley. I went to buy some food to carry out ,15 mini tacos , of which only 14 gave me , but obviously they charged the 15 ,3 pork tamales , 1 stuffed churro that seemed to have prepared for days ( old taste ) , 1 empanada de vanilla very hard outside and in the center the vanilla crema dry ; unfortunately I couldn't go back to claim my missing taco or complain about the churro because I don't live there ,I only stop there for a friend recommendation; but the truth is a poor service for the staff , and too expensive for the quality of food they sells... First let me start here, I was looking for somewhere that sold tamales made fresh and a friend recommended The Donut Hole, so I contacted them and placed my order over 24 hours in advance and was told that i could pick it up the following day and it would all be ready. I got there around 7pm today and told the young girl my name and what I ordered and she went to the back and spent forever running back and forth, and finally comes out and says "Uhm, nobody saw your order, so its not ready". and to that i responded, "then cancel it". She says "sorry". I was upset but it happens, right? Here's where I became so frustrated. She did not offer me a complimentary meal or a credit or even said if you pick the tamales up tomorrow we will give them free of charge!. I mean, nothing!!! As i went outside, I thought i should contact the manager or owner, so I headed back in. I asked her for the owner or managers contact information or business card and she proceeds to tell me that they have no way of contacting the owner and that there is no managers at the restaurant and no way to contact them!!! Worst customer service I have ever received in my life! And I work customer service everyday, and when something upsets my customer that we did wrong, we do what we can to make the customers experience better and change their frown upside down! I mean, I'm appalled!! I will never return to this place ever again!!! I wish I could have given ZERO stars!!! The tacos were AWESOME!! Everything I look for in a classic street taco, slightly crisp tortilla with a good helping of carne asada, cilantro, and onions. Add a squeeze of lime, some killer red sauce, and yummy! I also had the breakfast burrito and a plate of rice and beans.
