I always now prefer their donuts OVER The Donut Man, which are actually overhyped now in my opinion. At Donut Queen, the donuts are soft, chewy, dense yet light. This local donut shop with such sweet staff deserve all the business!! Recommended donut spot in Southern California and in SGV!

Just one of your typical little Mom and Pop donut shops with the usual fair of donuts, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies & boba drinks. Nothing real special - the employees were pleasant, but too many big chunks of ice in my smoothie to warrant anymore than an average rating.

What a gem! The owners of this establishment are so nice. At first, I was a little disappointed that my options were limited. Then when I got home, I realized I had a little bit of everything. The donuts were delicious and fresh. It had been such a long time since I had the opportunity to visit a nostalgic donut shop. It made me happy to see the chocolate milk in the rectangular container, the apple juice in the glass bottle, and the ham and cheese croissants. All I needed was the pink box, but everything else was spot on. It's definitely my go-to donut shop now.

I drove by this gem for years. Pretty darn good donuts and breakfast sandwiches and prices well. Give them a try. Nice service.

Small local donut shop that comes in clutch for a cooked to order, filling and absolutely tastes breakfast! This is my go to for "fast food" after a 12 hour night shift, the quality and quantity for the price can't be beat. The people are so nice there, everything is always clean and you see them making breakfast food to order and bringing out new trays of donuts all the time so they're always fresh! Absolutely come here, you won't be disappointed.

If you've read any of my reviews in Utah, you'll know the sadness I feel at the lack of convenient "regular donut" options. Donut Queen is why. I grew up just a mile away from this donut shop. It has changed ownership and appearance several times since I was a child, but the donuts have always remained consistently delicious. My brother likes to get their breakfast croissants, which I can't vouch for, but they're his favorite thing ever, so? I can vouch for the buttermilk donut (best ever), maple and chocolate raised, raised and cake crumb, and many other cake donuts. You can't go wrong, really. They're always polite and fast, and I visit 2-3 times every time I visit my hometown. Fun fact: the coconut Tip jar was made by my grandpa, who spent most of his mornings drinking coffee and reading the paper at Donut Queen.

The younger woman that works here always helps my family out when we go in for breakfast. My youngest daughter and myself love the bagels while my eldest daughter and my husband love the donuts, Boba, and the other breakfast items that they serve here. It is clean in the store and after you order your food they make you wait outside to comply with social distancing rules right now. I see this as a plus for right now because the store itself is quite small. The lady that helps us is really sweet and patient with our large orders. The prices here are pretty fair, not too expensive at all. All of the items are always fresh and yummy. We have never had a bad experience here with either the service or the food. This is our go to donut shop!

Wife and I went to try this place over the weekend and we're DISGUSTED by what we saw. There was a cockroach INSIDE OF THE GLASS WHERE THE DONUTS WERE!! The owner is very disrespectful. I went in there a couple of months ago and gave me a couple of wrong donuts. When I called to let her know she left out my daughter's glazed donut she said did I give you 12 donuts? I said you did but the 1st donut I asked for was a glazed twist. She said well I gave you 12 donuts. If you want it come bring back 1 donut and I'll give you one. I said no I'm not driving back and she said well you got your 12 donuts anyways. Not the point. Today I went in and the donut was hard, I was still in the parking lot when I broke off a small piece of the donut. So I walked back in to tell her and she started yelling at me. My donuts aren't hard. I said don't raise your voice at me. She said if you don't like the donut throw it away and don't come back. Plenty of other good places for donuts in the area stay far away from this place. Covina donuts on Grand is really good. Needless to say I will not spend another dime there. read more

Came to try this place out. Noticed there was a line one morning out the door. Wanted to see what all the buzz was about. Came in when it wasn't so busy. But the guy over the counter was not very friendly and did not greet. Ask them a question and you look confused like he was annoyed because he had an answer me. I read all the reviews and they were all great except for a few about the attitudes. Somewhere great personalities must have been on a good day either that or caught him on a bad day. Although was very surprised the croissant was very good and warm. Wouldn't come back. Place did not look very clean. And didn't care for the attitude. Hopefully they will read this and try to make a change. read more

This is almost everything you want in a donut shop. Enthusiastic customer service at all times. Fresh donuts, clean store. I love the glaze and I love the maple... I love chocolate but the chocolate here isn't the rich, resiny give you a buzz chocolate that some donut shops deal. Prices are fair. read more

I hadn't had a good donut in quite some time and this place delivered like nobody's business. I'm not even a fan of cherry in most types of food and the Cherry Pistachio donut definitely won me over! My two favorites are the Matcha and Strawberry donuts. Nobody uses fresh fruit in this type of donut and it's a welcome and refreshing change. Very few people are making these donuts in with these combos, check them out! read more

First of all, their donuts are SO good! I'm always looking for the perfect rainbow sprinkle (I KNOW, not sophisticated by any means, but classic). They are consistently good & fresh. The ladies that run the shop are awesome & know my order when I walk in-- I can't tell you how much I LOVE that. I often see single, elderly patrons, leisurely reading the paper while sipping a coffee; I love this equally as much. Rainbow sprinkle has my vote! Their coffee is great (& hot) too! read more

It was hit or miss when the niece took over. I love that I see their aunt every once in a while. Took a while getting used to the change, but they were receptive to customer advice and now they have grown on us. Connie is the best, kept it up. Cream puffs hands down read more

We use to loved this place. We frequented every Saturday and Sunday morning and many times during the week for our morning cup of coffee. They always had great customer service until now. Use to be owned by older couple and a sister. Well new people there. First week they brought the new lady and said she was the niece and she was taking over counter older ladies would would stand back a bit. We should have known then. Then abruptly the older couple and sister were gone. They said they were on vacation. Immediately donuts tasted different like oil. Yuck! They still claimed they were niece and nephew but they started to change the donuts and didn't have the specialty donuts. Now I'm getting a little disappointed. Donuts have gotten better with weeks. But still they are not making specialty donuts or croissants. They have never said they are new owners but they have brought a new menu, new advertising and new higher prices. Come on just be honest say you are new owners. Community will be welcoming. Well this past weekend went for our morning cup of coffee they were out of the flavored coffee. I asked if she could make more. She straight out said no. She said no if it doesn't sell I have to throw out! WTH????!!It's 830 am and you can't make more????? Ok previous owners had the best customer service not these. You go in wanting morning cup of coffee and this is their response. Extremely disappointed. Can I now say I miss the previous one owners!!!! Well they lost our business!!!!!! I will take my money elsewhere for a good cup of coffee they way I want it and that special treat. Sad just sad for this gem to change this way read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My mom and I used to come here every time we did laundry at the laundry mat a few doors down. We haven't been here in a while, but I still felt compelled to write a review and let everyone know that she has the BEST DONUTS around plus she is super nice! I came to Donut Queen and was so surprised how nice and clean it is. I was even more surprised on everything they have you come in for your donuts pike up a real good breakfast sandwich or something from the lunch menu for later. I have stoped by after work and picked up a sandwich for dinner this is a one stop donut shop come by and be surprised and you even get a smile from the girl behind the counter read more

I purchased 6 donuts and a dozen donut holes on Friday, Oct 27, 2017. I've gone here many times before and love the donuts but this time, while eating my donut, I found a piece of a toothpick in it. I tossed the donut and tried a second donut and bit into another toothpick and scratched my throat while almost swallowing it. I returned to the donut shop and talked with one of the owners explaining what happened. I was told that they don't work with toothpicks while making the donuts, not offered an apology or partial refund. It was very insulting. read more

I came back for a second visit one week later. They are located at the Historic Route 66 Promenade in Glendora. Plenty of free parking. The Works croissant was HUGE! I got two of them; one with everything for my Mom, one without sausage substitute it with more ham or bacon for me. Croissant was flaky and light. At every bite, I got a little of everything... ham, eggs, bacon, hash brown, and cheese. YUM! Will I be back? Definitely. Btw, CASH ONLY!

For example, today I ordered a croissant BLT and requested the bacon to be extra crispy. I don't know if she baked it or what but it was not only crispy, it was also not too greasy. I prefer green leafy lettuce over iceberg but you know what? On a hot day like today, it was good enough--watery and crispy and just right with the rest of the BLT, mustard no mayo. Mmmmm. I took pictures of the one wall because I think it's great that a men's club regularly meets here. Men need best friends and confidantes as much as women do, but often seem to have a harder time initiating or keeping in touch with them. So, well done, Miss Donuts for providing a safe and inviting location for men to meet regularly over some yummy food!

They were out of plain glazed mini donuts, so I asked Ashley who helped me to give me an assortment of the pink sprinkled, chocolate sprinkled, and plain chocolate, glazed donuts. Believe me, they were a hit at the meeting! Everyone was asking me where a Krispy Kreme was because they thought the closest one was in Ontario. Thanks to Ashley for your patience in explaining to me how the assortment options work! Apparently, new seasonal ones are 50 cents more per donut. It's a bit out of my way, but I do believe the donuts were melt-in-your-mouth fluffy sugary delights that were worth indulging in once in awhile!

The coffee tastes like a clean, bitter, cold brew with a foamy top. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 4% Cash Discount.) I arrived at Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) on Thursday (around 12:13PM). Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. There's about four interior tables, but there's also 16 outside patio tables. The location is clean, well-maintained, and well ventilated.
