I had an underwhelming experience at Donut Club (San Dimas). I ordered the Chocolate Donut with Sprinkles ($1.85). Its bread tastes mushy, watery, & bland. And its crusty chocolate carries a prominent artificial sugary taste. I wanted to chug down water after biting into it. (Important: Bring Cash for Purchases. Card Payments have an added 3.5% fee.) I arrived at Donut Club (San Dimas) on a weekend (around 2:49PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is spacious. Staff quickly welcomed me, and Staff politely spoke. Staff spoke with a cheerful voice. As mentioned, I disliked the Chocolate Donut with Sprinkles ($1.85). Its taste reminds me of a pre-boxed grocery store donut that's been sitting out for too long. It's not a horrendous donut, but it's a very saccharine & cheap tasting donut. Surprisingly, Donut Club (San Dimas) is an extremely comfortable spot because it had air conditioning. Unlike many other donut spots, this business felt very comfortable to lounge about. There were bits of crumbs lying about, so it didn't feel the cleanest; however, it was still fairly comfortable. Overall, Donut Club (San Dimas) feels like a place for a last resort donut when desperately craving for anything sugary. It's not a bad place. Found this place as I was in this plaza doing other shopping. They have a wide variety of donuts. Their yeast donuts are great! Great texture and stays pretty soft for a couple days. They have generous selection of fun flavors, my favorite is the red velvet yeast donuts as well as the red velvet cake donut. Their tiger tails are ginormous! Edit: I'm not a fan of krispy kreme, but love donuts from small donut shops so I'm comparing this place other local donut shops that I've been to in the area. I use to love getting Donuts from Donut club. But the last few times I ordered they were very stale, very small compared to when I first started going there. I'd rather support little mom and pop shops over corporate big chains. That's why I kept going back because I figured maybe just a bad batch but I guess not. After going more than a couple times after the first time the donuts weren't the best I still wanted to give the benefit . But I guess that's just how they are now. The flavors don't taste great anymore, the frosting is messy and not as much as before. The old Fashioned is very oily and they aren't cooked all the way through anymore. The blueberry one was my favorite but the last few times I purchased them they are very dry and fall apart. This last time I went I just had to throw them away unfortunately I don't know if they sold the business to someone else. Or what's going on. Just wish they were like they use to be. read more

Donut Club is located in the same plaza as Smart & Final, specifically a few doors down from Dollar Tree. After having dinner at Pho & Grill with my husband and our friend and his 2 kids, we decided to go inside Donut Club since the kids really wanted donuts (I think the 2 kids purposely ate less at dinner so they could have their dad stop at Donut Club afterwards, lol). We were greeted by an employee behind the counter. For ourselves, we ended up getting: 6 Donut Holes, $1.75 prior to tax- My friend ended up purchasing these for my mom as a nice little birthday gift. At first, he wanted to purchase a dozen for her but my mom is a a small eater, that it would take her a while to finish them, lol. So he decided that 6 would probably be a good idea. With donut holes, the flavors are glazed, blueberry and sprinkles. But the blueberry and sprinkle flavors can only be purchased by the dozen since they were already packed in a container. My mom was so happy when I brought the donut holes home and said she liked it (I didn't have any since they are for her). Unglazed Old Fashion, $1.65 prior to tax- Old fashion donuts are my favorite donuts (no hipster donuts for me) but rarely have I found a place that sells an unglazed version. Often times other donut places tell me they would have to make a fresh one for me if I want it unglazed (which I don't mind waiting but they normally don't... so not sure why they always tell me this if they can't offer this to me). So I ordered this one. This donut was just okay (not because it was plain without the glaze). Parts of this donut was crunchy and really should have been more cake like. ------------------------------- (Total= $3.71 after tax) One of my friend's kids got the boba milk drink (no tea) and he liked the drink itself but did not like the boba. The boba used were the small size like tapioca you would use in a pudding or a dessert. He thought the taste was "off", as he described it. But my friend's other kid really liked her sprinkles donut. She definitely finished almost all of it (lol). I think I would give this place possibly another chance but wouldn't rush back here. read more

My husband and I wanted dessert and so I let him pick. He picked donuts and I was assuming we would end up at donut man but he chose donut club. I was skeptical but man was I wrong! There were so many options late at night and they smelled and looked so fresh! We each ordered two donuts and I inquired about the blueberry donut and the owner said it was really good and he wanted me to try it. I tried it right in the store and it was absolutely delicious. The place has a few chairs and tables but I do believe a lot of people just grab and go. They serve also drinks here and I got a strawberry smoothie with no boba. For my donut selection, I got a dozen mini donuts. I love mini donut holes because they just taste perfect with biting into them.
