OMG! Soooo Good! This is my go to place. I've only ordered thru DoorDash and every time opening the box puts a big smile in our faces! Their croissant with whipped cream and strawberry filling is good, their chocolate eclair with whipped filling is great with my coffee. You can also ask for the custard filling instead. That'll be my next. Cinnamon rolls are good. Bagel with cream cheese was good. All in all everything is really good, and the price is right! Seeing all these great reviews has me very confused about the crappy customer service my husband received today. My husband went to order a dozen donuts, completed selection and was solely waiting to pay. Instead of anyone continuing to assist him, they continued to help other people that came in after. My husband was skipped over while the workers helped someone after him with getting coffee and ringing him up. my husband mentioned something loud enough about not being helped at this time and still didn't get assistance. another group of teenagers then came in and they go assist them instead of helping with ringing him up still. He sat around and waited for almost 5 minutes after the donuts were boxed up while watching people who came in after him get their orders taken care of and be able to pay. It's horrible to stop helping one customer just so you can go help another that came in after. We have a schedule we needed to follow this morning and they had no consideration for that. My husband ended up leaving without purchasing the donuts because he was so appalled by the service and the fact that he provided them two separate opportunities to assist him and realize their mistake. (we were on the phone while this happened) please do a better job at focusing on your customers. Not sure what happened with your workers this morning, but it's extremely rude to make someone wait behind people that came in after them to complete their order or purchase. read more

I went here today to try a place I had never been before. I wasn't expecting much since it's a donut shop. I got a whipped cream donut, a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant, and a large Thai milk tea. I was impressed! The breakfast sandwich was much better than Burger King's and less expensive. The whipped cream donuts are prepared per order so just ask if you don't see one in the case. And they had Thai milk tea! I love that stuff. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Overall, I would recommend checking this place out if you've never been. We have ordered from Donut Time several times over the past month or two and it's always been so delicious. You can tell that kind people work here who put care and thought into these orders. I've gotten several different versions of their breakfast and lunch sandwiches and I've never been disappointed. My favorite is the lunch sandwich on a cheese bagel with bacon and salami. The donuts are PERFECT. I especially love their pink strawberry one. I'm super picky with coffee and if it doesn't taste exactly right, I won't drink it, but I've ordered 2 different coffees so far and both times I've said "omg this is soooo good." You can even add espresso to the Thai tea!! I love their white chocolate mocha frappe (with an espresso shot), it's literally my new favorite coffee. read more

I have purchased donuts from this shop for years. Because of covid, I have not been there in a while. I went in last week, they were following all covid safety protocols and then some. The shop was very clean and safe! Now for the review: they have added sandwiches and smoothies and BOBA drinks. Wow what a addition. I got two number one breakfast croissants, Ham, egg and cheese. The croissant was huge, and absolutely delicious! Lately my breakfast sandwich was McDonald's down the street. I am kicking myself for not stopping at Donut Time sooner. Donut Time was cheaper, bigger and so, so much better, it isn't even a fair comparison. As usual the donuts were great. Yesterday I stopped again, got donuts and a Tai tea with boba, it was for my son, he loved it. He stated it was the best he ever had. In the Highlands of the North you'll find the wee little donut shop Donut Time. What time is Donut Time? It's anytime you get the craving. But for me, I tend to not get a craving until late in the afternoon when many donut shops are closed. If I find one that is open, it is typically cleaned-out leaving few options. Fortunately, DT was open and had one of my favorite donuts in the case. I love Apple Fritters. Especially when they are full of nice chunks of apple. DT'S Apple fritters were A-OK, but I wouldn't complain if they had a wee bit more apples inside. I like Apple Fritters, not only for the flavor, but because they are easy to eat a bit at a time through the day to satisfy the sweet cravings. They aren't as sticky and crumbly as most donuts and fall into the category of pull-apart bread. I'm bumping them up to 4 stars because of the fast and friendly customer service! I'll have to try arriving earlier in the day next time to sample some more DT donuts. read more

I typically don't venture to this side of town, but I am trying to support local businesses as much as possible these days. I took the family to get donuts at Donut Time on a Saturday morning and there was a line out the door. It's a very small shop with a couple of counters and limited room. Everyone waited in line, wearing masks and kept socially distanced. There were four people behind the counters helping customers so the line moved at an even pace. This donut shop offers donuts, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, shakes, Thai iced tea, boba, and various coffee beverages. I don't really have much of a sweet tooth, but every baked good in this place looked incredibly appetizing. We settled on some cinnamon buns that were bigger than my hand, an apple fritter that was almost equally as large, and a braided cinnamon treat. We also got a green tea shake with boba that was really sweet but tasty and a Thai tea that was also very good. Service was great. Everyone behind the counter was very patient and reassured me it wasn't too late to change the order when my kids kept changing their mind. They were kind, but efficient and they even threw in a goodie bag filled with mini sized candy bars for Halloween. I will definitely be coming here again. I cannot wait to try a breakfast sandwich next time, they smelled so good. read more

I only recently discovered this little piece of heaven special thanks to doordash and my 6am goodnight going to bed munchies. By far, the most amazing donuts ever. Their prices are very reasonable and selection is just the right amount. A little of this, a little of that, it's perfection. The boba blended drinks are amazing. I personally love the coconut and honeydew, sometimes i even buy both and mix the two together, but im weird like that and mix alot of my foods. The breakfast croissants are yummy too. Croissant is buttery, but not drenched, and oh so moist it melts in your mouth. Portions are generous. And best of all, and I wish I knew her name, is the sweet lady that works mornings. I'm assuming she may be the owner just based on her attentiveness and attitude. You can tell she values her customers and wants them to enjoy the food. She even draws cute smiley faces on the package and neatly packs your order. Preface: This review is NOT about the service, it's about the donuts. The only reason I am not giving it ONE star is because you occasionally get a good fully cooked donut. I used to take my daughter here for her weekly potty training treat, chocolate donut with sprinkles or 6 donut holes. They ARE always friendly, pleasant, and take time to know you if you live in the neighborhood. But this isn't about the service, it's about the product. About 4 months ago, after noticing that every single glazed donut was coming out under cooked - a donut is under cooked even if it is golden brown, but turns back into dough when cut into or bitten, and you'll taste the raw yeast and raw flour flavor. I opted to try something new because they had fresh blueberry cake donuts, everything was looking good - golden brown and just the right amount of crisp on the edges - until I broke Open that donut and saw completely raw batter. Then again, the fritters were raw in the middle, the croissants were raw on the underside of the middle... cooking temp and time is clearly an issue. With the fact that the USDA, CDC, and FDA are saying wheat flours are being contaminated with e.coli and other bacteria, it is of utmost importance that these things be cooked entirely. Wheat flours have 10x the contamination risk that eggs do, that's even considering that that is two different bacterium's that can kill people. And, in all honesty an oil temp of 375 and taking the internal temp of a donut or croissant are easy fixes. So why aren't they being done? Every patch of their premix can be different temps and require different baking temperatures and times, especially since they sit in a facility that is not climate controlled. Easy fixes, people. So if you have had stomach cramping, nasal infections, or any other ailments after eating a donut, it's probably because they did not cook the dough all the way and it sat out on their racks all day. ...all day because they didn't know it wasn't cooked properly, because they don't monitor oil temp and the temp of their food before they decide it's ready for service. Btw, if you are not in the food service industry, this entire review will seem completely overboard and super critical. It's not. They have GREAT service, I just wished their food knowledge matched that, even if it's just pre-mix (think cake mixes) and shelf stable custards and jams. read more

I haven't been here in over 8 years after having really poor quality donuts. Since then, ownership has changed and the quality is greatly improved.
