    This is 100% unbiased and honest review based on my personal experience. I was at the point in the process where I needed to buy a new front door and interior doors. after searching around for the type of doors that I wanted at reasonable price. The stores I visited did not stocked the doors I needed. I was told by 90% of the places I went the lead time would be 4-6 weeks minimum which would not work for me. On top of that most sales representatives were very pushy or often rude and the prices extremely high in comparison to the quality of the product. My contract or told me about Door Outlet in Austin during the time I was remodeling my house. He suggested to contact Chris to discuss the best options that would meet my needs. I had no expectation that he would be any different than the previous reps that I had met. But.... Chris, to my surprise, was extremely knowledgeable in regards to doors and the process that is required to accomplish replacing all (22) doors for my home. Along with superb customer service provided by Chris I was able to get exactly what I needed at a cost that was well under my budget. Furthermore, he was able to frame all doors within 10 days. I was astounded by the ability of Door Outlet to make this entire process quick, professional, cost-effective and not to forget, the quality of their products completely surpassed my expectation. I wasn't even going to take the time to write a review of my experience with Chris and Door Outlet but I felt that it should be known in a city with so many competitors Door Outlet and my sales rep Chris went "ABOVE AND BEYOND" every step of the way. I would recommend Door Outlet and Chris for all your door needs. Thank Door Outlet!

    Please keep this post as SERIOUS WARNING when dealing with ill-tempered and unprofessional General Manager from Door Outlet Austin, TX. Looking at bad reviews posted by others on Yelp, my experience with Door Outlet (specifically with their General Manager Don Byers) seems to be consistently terrible as other reviews on Yelp as well as other review websites. We have been trying to rectify material defect issues with one of the doors received (Masonite fiberglass door, sidelights and frame) in late October. I have spent a week trying to show them and explain the issues I have discovered by: 1. bringing the door back to their warehouse, 2. complied and provided all info on the claim form provided, 3. providing high-rez pictures and videos (with comments/analysis), and demonstrations in order to help them to understand the base of the claims, 4. responding respectfully and communicated even after observing Door Outlet General Manager Don Byer's aggressive and unprofessional behavior (verbally and in-writing) -- as well as stating in their letter that we don't seem to have any idea what happens in American when there's a dispute. Door Outlet employees have completely failed to handle after sale issues professionally. Door Outlet immediately assumed that the customer is making-up stories and presenting false claims, even after providing all facts and materials for them to work with their middle-man (DW Distribution) and Masonite (manufacturer) for proper resolution.     Wow! I thought the shower in my investment property was so bad I thought I'd have to tear it out…read morecompletely. The tenants tore it up so bad and it looked so disgusting I didn't even take a before pic of it. So thankful I found Advance refinish! I reached out explaining I needed someone urgently and they fit me in their schedule asap. We easily communicated via text which is very important to me because I'm always on the go juggling dozens of contractors at once so it's so helpful when businesses can communicate in a way that works best for the client. The day of, I got texts of when the technician was on the way which was helpful. He was respectful, worked hours straight and my shower ended up looking brand new and far beyond what I could imagine it to look like. I was incredibly impressed. I do a lot of remodeling projects and I'll no doubt reach out again; they will be my go-to for sure. Highly recommend!

    Update November 2024: Following my negative review, Jeff…read morecontacted me. He sent Juan and Leticia, who stripped the bathtub and refinished it. They seemed careful and tidy. It took them 3+ hours. The finish is nice and shiny. I hope it lasts a long time. Our experience with Advanced Bathtub in 2023 was horrible. Technician D***** maybe had ADD focus issues. In any case, he worked fast and loose and skipped preparation steps. He mixed the epoxy paint wrong, probably too much solvent, such that the curing paint pulled up from inside corners, and retracted and split on horizontal countertop surface. Jeff kept sending him back to re-do, and he kept screwing it up. He worked without a ventilation fan. I'm not sure if he was more mental or more stoned from inhaling solvent. The paint is completely peeling up from the bottom of the tub 18 months later. Evidently the tub surface was not roughened enough prior to paint application. I don't know if the tech even cleaned the surfaces, much less roughened them. He painted right over dirt and dust on the tile.
