Don't recommend. When I placed my order over the phone, I gave exact dimensions of the glass I needed cut and told them it was for a cabinet door. I had no idea there were different thicknesses of glass. They charged me close to $100 and gave me a sheet that was 3/8" thick. This was way too thick for a cabinet door and had to return it to get one at 1/8" thick. They quickly cut the right piece, but I inquired about a partial refund, as I paid a high price for 3/8", unknowingly, and the 1/8" should be much cheaper. When I inquired about that when I picked it up, I was told they'd look into it and call me back. Several days passed with no contact, so I called them back and spoke to the salesperson. The person that took my order lied and said I requested 3/8" initially (which I couldn't have, as I didn't know glass thicknesses). She then said she'd research a refund and call me back. Another few days passed with no contact. I called again and spoke to someone who again said they'd research it and call me back. A week later and still no contact. I'm giving up on it now and calling it a loss. But I'll never use them again. Good product when they get it right, but horrible customer service and zero follow-through. Do not use this company. Customer service is terrible and they seem to be incompetent. We had our shower measured for glass on 2/27, then they wait another week to put your order in. Then they were supposed to install on 3/20(didn't show) then 3/21 (didn't show) then finally showed up 3/22 with the wrong size shower glass! So now we are waiting again for install - who knows how long that will take and if it will be correct. I feel like this product should be discounted at this point but they have offered us nothing to fix their mistake. Save yourself a headache and choose another company! Update to owners response- Yes I have the right company. Not sure where you are seeing Colorado. My husband talked to a supervisor, Karen, today about our situation. Some of the scheduling issues "may" have been our contractors fault (we still need to talk with him). Your company incorrectly measured our glass. My husband was also informed there was another initial delivery of the glass that was "flawed" which also increased the timeline. So that's two issues. Potential customers should be aware of these issues and that their project may take longer than anticipated due to these types of issues. read more

Having to have two mirrors replaced in a house less than a years old. Miranda "dispatcher" has awful customer service. She calls to schedule a day to change mirrors. No one showed up to the appointment. When she contacts me the following week to schedule again, I called her out on not showing up or contacting us. She states that it was a tentative appointment. YOU CALL the customer if you won't be there! Poor quality and even worse customer service. read more

Anchor Ventana is the best. They installed mirrors in my remodeled master bath many years ago and then a shower door a few years after that. There was an issue with the mirrors after several years. The adhesive was showing through the silver. It was an issue with the adhesive, not the mirrors, but they replaced the mirrors at no charge. The shower door is a barn door type and has needed adjustment a few times. They come out and make the adjustments at not cost. read more

When the glass in our front door broke, we called Anchor Ventana. The crew that came out to take measurements was courteous and helpful, but the Customer Consultant was either uninformed, uninterested or both with respect to helping my wife and I make a replacement glass choice. She told us that the company didn't have a catalog. She also said she couldn't send pictures, because the camera wouldn't show the difference in the options. She never offered an alternative solution to helping us make our choice, and she didn't offer us an appointment to come to the showroom. We ended up going to the internet ourselves to research glass options. We later found out from another Customer Consultant that they do have a catalog and digital pictures. I sold my Austin home, and the new owners hired MacConnell Renovations as the general contractor and purchased glass from AV. So I did not order the glass, I did not allow access to the property to install the glass, and I certainly did not owe the balance on the account. Carol, who was listed on the work order as the AV sales employee, should have gotten the correct name and billing address for the work. The first contact I have from both of these parties is a Notice of Balance and Demand letter for payment, statement of my personal liabity for this "accurate" document, and threat of lien against the property. When I reached Mr Macconnell, he said he was CC'd on the letter in error. He admitted to being the general contractor. So in my book, he was responsible for overseeing the project, including the billing. He blamed Travis County for the inflammatory letter. Mr Macconnell needs to grow up and take responsibility for his projects. Jill, the AV person who finally returned my call, said she had the legal right to send the incorrect letter to me. And she would try to figure out how to write a letter for my personal file stating that I was not responsible for the account balance, I think Jill should have learned letter writing skills in elementary school. Again, she blamed Travis County. For payment, AV should have called the person who placed the order. Then they should have attempted to call the person who allowed access to the property for payment. And as a last resort, they should have called me, to which I would have suggested they contact Keller Williams for any Lot owner information. A Demand letter via certified mail should NOT have been sent to me as first contact for payment. read more

They installed the wrong shower glass in our home in Dec 2021, they took until April to have the replacement "ready", we coordinated with other vendors to do the replacement work and 1 day before their scheduled job in June they noticed a quality issue (on a unit they claimed to have since April) now 2 weeks later they won't commit to a date. Ok I'm not exactly the kind of guy who write reviews, very rarely it's is that I write,actually only when I have really bad experiences. Anyhow, Anchor Ventana Glass just came out today to replace a master washroom mirror due to it started having some black spots. Long story short, these are real professional people, very courteous and helpful. The lady at the appointment t desk (Michelle) is super helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend anyone needing any glass work done to call them, you won't be disappointed. read more

Customer service here is pretty bad. We emailed inquiring about sliding glass door installation in lieu of our patio windows. Jaime responded for us to look and tell her which one want from their site. Upon looking there's only one sliding door on their site. Why even ask us to look when you can just tell me you only offer one? Then we asked for the price for that one and she tells us they only provide the glass and not the frame. Again, maybe just make all that clear in the first email instead of wasting our time. 6-7 emails to basically say we don't do sliding glass door. She needs training or a new career. read more

So funny to read about people complaining about prices. If that bothers you, it is a free market out there. Glass is not inexpensive, especially when it is made to order. While AV is a human endeavor and not inexpensive, they do a good job. I had them replace a couple of panes in a garden box window. The top one was measured a little too short and was noticed on installation. A new one was ordered and installed. They also have manufactured a custom shower door and glass enclosure for another house over a decade ago. It still works fine. read more

I requested an initial estimate which was fulfilled and I paid the required $45 at that time (8/18/2015). The next step was for them to send me the total estimate. They sent an estimate with 2 of the 3 windows being addressed. My last communication was asking them for a total including all 3 issues. This was never sent thus I never received a total estimate of charges. On 9/3 they proceeded to charge my card $347.50 without my knowledge or much less approval. To this day, they will not return emails and have only refunded $120 of the 347.50. Very shady business tactics and they keep your credit card information on file to charge at later times. Not very secure or safe for their clients private information. No work was ever performed nor was my permission given to proceed at any time. read more

Anchor Ventana did a terrific job replacing an older shower door with a frameless one and creating three lovely beveled mirrors for my master bathroom. I had gotten estimates from other companies, and AV was more reasonable and much more professional. It's worth a trip to Round Rock to see their extensive showroom. Our salesperson there, Christy, was very helpful and kept track of the job throughout the process. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. I intend to call AV for window glass replacement, too. A contractor had told me that glass replacement for my windows and patio doors was not possible--and that I'd have to put in new windows and new doors, now that the seals were broken on the double glass panes. AV said it was not a problem to replace the glass. I look forward to that work. I can strongly recommend Anchor Ventana in Round Rock. read more

Needed a condo window replaced as unit was for sale. I was quoted a week of Dec. 12th installation date. As date approached no contact from Anchor, so I sent e-mails and finally called and left a voice mail. Days later I got an e-mail saying window arrived with a defect. I don't know if he took several days to determine the defect or make up the excuse. Continuing poor communication that was only responded to days later after more e-mails and voicemails. Project completed Dec. 30th. I understand setbacks, I don't understand poor communication. read more

The Anchor Ventana guys installed the mirrors and glass surround for our master bathroom renovation. They were great to work with. That was 3 years ago, recently I called them and told them that the backing on the mirrors had began to develop dark spots (which were visible on the fronts), they said, 'we will send someone to check it out'. They did. And they replaced them at no charge. This is excellent customer service folks! This is a company I will use again and again. read more

Guys showed up, measured our interior window, received a very competitive quote, and decided to purchase. Two weeks later, guys showed up and installed our custom interior window. Three years ago we had Anchor-Ventana Glass Co install a $2700.00 bathroom shower enclosure. Last month the shower door glass spontaneously shattered, and the glass exploded into thousands of pieces. Luckily no one was in the bathroom at the time; otherwise, severe injury would have resulted. When Anchor-Ventana was contacted they stated the warranty had expired, and we would be charged for glass replacement, even after their installer stated he had never seen glass shatter in that way. I went to Anchor Ventana because of their reputation. Ha! While choosing my shower enclosure the door opener pinched my finger/nail. I was told no upgrade, so we decided to have towel bar put on the left side. No problem per Jaime. My husband is disabled Veteran. We were suppose to get 10% discount, we received 5%. I'm so totally disabled. They came and measured, again Jeff said no problem with modification. It took over 6 weeks to received the shower enclosure. I did receive manufacture discount. Manufacturer made door incorrectly. I'm disabled and needed the sliding door modified. I wanted to reorder the door. I was told by my sales girl I was stuck with what I had. I called her supervisor. They wanted to rework door. I wanted a new door. I was told after reworking it work the same. They upgrade opener and towel bar. Funny...I was told when ordering that wasn't a option. They reworked door. Problem was the door would not open all the way. Since they basically turned door upside down and put hanging hardware at top of door. They said track was bent. They fixed that problem. First time to take shower the door lifts up about 1" to 1-1/4". Water now on floor. I'm tired of them and their sales people. Installation guys were great. They were doing what they where told. I have no complaints with those men. In the end I did received my discounts, but not happy with quality of work. My complaint is with Anchor Ventana. Makes one wonder who writes the reviews. Here is my experience with AV and you be the judge. No emotions, no thrills. I was seeking a quote for a job and, as good experience tells you, you need more then one to make a decision. This is just a sound practice. VA charged a fee to come on site and take measurements, and should they got the job, they would have applied that to offset the cost; OK i paid it, however they are the only company around that does that. That should have been the warning flag. Second, I've asked for a detailed breakdown of the job, by materials and labor.What triggered that was a suspicious "service charge" in addition to "total cost". Well I have never received the breakdown just the total. Consider buying a car, vacation, or anything for that matter and not knowing what comes in it. Are you buying a strip down model or loaded. Wouldn't you like to know before you pay premium for it. I guess there are people that are content with not knowing it. The price did not have an impact on the decision. read more
