These are the kind of guys you want to do business with: polite, professional, they come when they say they will, do what they say they are going to do (and well!) and they stand by their work. We had Door Pros install a new Liftmaster garage door opener a couple of months ago. The job was done well, the guys worked clean, the installer took the time to explain how everything worked - including setting us up on the cell phone with the app to use remotely. He was really patient and made sure we were completely satisfied with everything before he left. Fast forward: Yesterday, the track on which the garage door opener cable runs came crashing down from it's mount on the wall above the garage. Fortunately, no one was hurt and our vehicle wasn't damaged. A call to Door Pros and they tried to get someone out same day, but couldn't. A one-day wait on short notice was not bad at all. Jason came out today. Before he arrived, we received a text from Door Pros to let us know he was on his way. The text included Jason's photo, a brief bio about him, a little about his experience, and the words "he will make sure to have your door up and running and working safely." What company does that? Every company can take a page from the Door Pros play book. As promised, Jason arrived shortly after that text. He quickly diagnosed the problem: the track had not been properly bracketed to the wall above the garage door when originally installed - it had been attached with only two bolts into the sheet rock. He didn't make excuses or try to pass the buck. He explained what he needed to do - install a support bracket and ensure it went into the stud above the garage door. After doing that, Jason then tightened the bolts which hold the opener to the ceiling and ensured that everything was secure. He then ran multiple tests to make sure everything was working smoothly. Afterwards, he reprogrammed the wall control to the correct time, ran through with us how to program it ourselves, and made sure our phone app was working as well. The entire time he was patient, polite and professional. This is the kind of customer service you hope to get from every company you have to deal with in whatever capacity. Even with the error on the original install, we would use this Door Pros again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them. read more

Our service started out a little shaky. I called on a Friday and set up service for a rental property, where they had to call the renter to set the actual appointment. They were supposed to call me at the time of the actual service to authorize the repairs. I waited a few days, because I knew that they would not have anything set up until after the weekend. I called again at the end of the next week to follow-up. I was told that they could not find any reference to my previous call. Something about another girl that worked there? I reset up for a service call to the renter to set an appointment time. I did this based on their good reviews. There was an appointment for the next day, but I never got a call. I communicated with the renter who stated it had been moved to another day. I never met the technician, but he appeared to be polite on the phone and the renter said they were satisfied with the work. read more

Particularly I praise Robert Garcia, who was the lead repair person on each crew. He gets a grade of A++ for his care, conscientiousness, and courtesy as he recently worked at our house in Cathedral City. I witnessed his patient persistence with difficult aspects of the job until he was able to make the repairs that resulted in excellent workmanship. I called for an estimate to replace a door. The technician said that he needs half down now and the rest is due upon completion. 2 weeks went by. I called to find out the status of my door. The office couldn't find my order. So I asked for a refund. The office kept jerking me around. They said they couldn't refund me because the manager was out on a big job and he had to approve it. I had Door Pros install a good quality door at my back entrance. The company had a tech named Kyle to do the work. I had no problem with the installation and Kyle was also to install weatherstripping at my front door because the door is older and needed it. Months later, not even a full year, the back door which the manufacturer painted, has small chips all over the edges. Door Pros tells me that Kyle is responsible since it was his job. Well, Kyle has blown me off and I have called and talked to the customer reps at the office and although they all say they will get back to me, no one has yet to do anything more than take my call and sound concerned, but no help. The door was 2500, I would think the mfr. would have done a better job with the painting and I'm only asking that they repair the chips which would require some paint and a little time. I also inspected the weather stripping because it really doesn't seem to be giving me enough protection from the outside noise and wind and looking at the weatherstripping, to my eyes it does not look like quality material. If it lasts another year I would be surprised and it was pricey . I would never use Door Pros in future for any work as I question their professional ethics and pride in their work. I have a door that is not even a year old, under a covered protection, and yet it's deteriorating quickly. They are just ignoring my requests for help and not offering any solutions at all nor returning my calls. Sadly, this is my only recourse and it's a bitter lesson. read more

Shawn arrived timely, was extremely capable, and evaluated my 18 year old motor/rail/springs/rollers. Gave me several options and did not try to "scare"me into a premature overhaul. Ultimately I decided on replacing my motor with a Liftmaster 87504. INCREDIBLEY quiet. Nice app for remote operations, camera, super bright 360 coverage LED motion light. Really impressed with this organization. The appointment process was easy. They kept me informed of where the technician was and when they would arrive. One thing I thought they did that was reassuring, was that they sent a picture of the technician before he arrived. Once the technician arrived he explained everything. He analyzed the problem, had it fixed, and performed maintenance on the door in a short time. I highly recommend them and should the need arise, they'll be the first I'll call for all our garage and sliding door needs.
