I am a business owner and because this door was jammed, part of my building was shut down and I was losing income. Shelby came out and I told him I just wanted to fix the door if possible because I didn't have budget for a new door. After looking at the door and figuring replacing it was the best option, we went over numbers. I was able to get a good deal because I went ahead and replaced a 2nd door (out of the four I have) at the same time because thinking proactively, I didnt want part of my building shut down unexpectedly. Shelby sent out a crew on a Saturday to knock these out and get my entire shop back up and running again. I was afraid when he came out that I was going to get a commissioned salesman and a charge for giving an estimate. -There was no pressure to buy -I didn't get a salesman, I got someone who is a problem solver (huge difference between the two) -He delivered on time -He installed on time -He even let me postdate a check for the small remainder (I dont know if he does this for everyone, but one small business helping out another small business is the best ever!) There was an issue with a contractor, and this is where the possible 5 star review turns into a solid 5 star for me. Long story short, we were missing a piece, Shelby took full responsibility, no studdering, no finger pointing, no making up excuses, was sincerely apologetic, and went above and beyond my expectations to fix it. (maybe my expectations are lower than most, or maybe his business motto is higher than most.....I think the second one.) Any business can be great and have good service, but how a business reacts when something goes wrong or unexpected is the true way to see what their business really stands for. I will be doing business with these guys again here very soon to replace my last two doors on my building. If you need garage doors, give these guys your money. Seriously, their service can not be beat!

I called on a Friday afternoon and was told that someone could come by Saturday morning for our free quote. Lynn showed up and went over our existing doors. One had been hit by the previous owner, so I knew it needed to be replaced. The other one I figured we'd replace so the doors wouldn't be mismatched. I was also having trouble with the door sensors. Lynn immediately determined the door that had been hit needed to be replaced, not repaired (as I suspected) and recommended replacing the second door (as I figured we should). After my wife selected the color for the door, he said they might be in stock and, if they were, he could install them the same day! 6 hours later, I had two new doors and new sensors for the one that wasn't working. Lynn and I did notice that one of the door panels had some delamination. He said he could be back on Monday to replace the bad panel. It took Lynn and his wife less than 15 minutes to replace the panel. Today (just under a month later), I was having trouble with the sensor, again, so I called back. I actually got the owner of the company and he said he could be there in about 30 minutes. After looking over the sensor, he determined it was a bad connection at the opener itself and he took care of the issue. No charge. The good: FAST FAST FAST Experienced technical and NO hard sell. I told him what I wanted and he brought it over and installed it. Bad panel was replaced within 48 hours with no argument. Issue with the sensor was corrected almost as soon as I called and mentioned it. The bad: I'll let you know if I ever get a "bad". Highly recommended if you need new doors.

I wasn't sure if we just needed service/repairs, or a full garage door opener replacement. He contacted me again Sunday morning, to let me know they could come that afternoon, with no trip charge. Enrique arrived promptly on time, and after discussing the situation with him, he was able to diagnose our problem within minutes. He was able to replace old, faulty wheels and lubricate the main spring, as well as check and secure all the bolts that had loosened, because of excessive vibration, over time. We reached out to Austin Overhead Door Company late on a Friday afternoon due to a commercial door…read morethat would not close. Given that leaving this door open until Monday (normal business hours) was not an option for security reasons, it was critical that we at least get the door to close before we went home. Austin Overhead was actually the 3rd overhead door company we reached out to, and the first that actually lived up to the "24/7 emergency response" claim (the other 2 stated that Monday was the earliest they could come out). I spoke to Bill who assured me he would have someone out that evening to take a look, and not only did they come out as promised, Thomas and Simon actually arrived within about 20 minutes! Next came the challenge of the door itself. Without going into all the steps they needed to close this day, I will simply say that Thomas really knew what he was doing, and he and Simon were able to get the door closed after much diligence, a bit of hard work, and even a few acrobatics! The door was closed and we were able to go home... but it did not end there! Additional repairs were needed that we agreed could wait until Monday when Thomas would have access to more equipment and it would be easier to see what the root cause of the issue was. While Monday was not an option due to a thunderstorm, Thomas was still excellent about communicating with us, and rescheduling for the next day. Thomas came out promptly on Tuesday and was able to fix the door completely at no additional cost! Overall, I want to recognize this company (and Thomas in particular) for their responsiveness, their effectiveness, and their communication. I highly recommend this company for your overhead door needs! Thank you very much Thomas (and Simon and Bill)!
