The tacos are not that great. Customer service is very, very good. Food isn't. Fish tacos smell very bad. Brussel sprout tacos have an extremely overly thick and sweet sauce. Shrimp tacos were meh. I wouldn't come again. read more

I am a lover of tacos and I think I found my new favorite local taco spot. Dos Amigos is relatively still new at this location and this was my first and definitely not the last time I will go. My husband and I came in on a Friday night and ordered a few things to share. We got chips and salsa which came out immediately while we waited on the rest of the food. We also shared the Birria quesadilla which was so full of savory flavors. The consomé wasn't my favorite I've had. I wish it was a little more brothy as it was a little too thick for my liking but it didn't take away from the flavors. I also ordered the buffalo chicken taco which was massive! Overall a great first experience and the staff was very attentive. Must try if you are in the area! read more

The tortillas were almost inedible. Extremely tough, stale, awful. Like beef jerky from an old cow. Our jaws hurt from eating them. Would not return based only on the terrible tortillas. read more

This place has a cool vibe and offers margaritas and bottled beer. The menu is limited compared to some Mexican restaurants but has a good variety of proteins. We ordered a kids chicken quesadilla, birria taco, carne asada taco, mushroom taco, al pastor pork taco and beef tenderloin taco, as well as the guacamole. All of the tacos were terrible! The tortillas are dry and taste old. The birria taco was a greasy mess that had no flavor, just a greasy consistency that overwhelmed our mouths with an oily sensation. The steak had flavor but it was so dry it was crumbly. The pastor had canned pineapple, and no seasoning at all. The kids quesadilla was super greasy as well. The only decent thing we had was the guacamole! The atmosphere is cute, food came out fast, service wasn't bad per say but not memorable just blah. I tried this place a few days after it opened in Wellington, we heard great things from the other location in Delray. Was so excited to try - Ordered 1 Pork Belly, 1 Carnitas, and 1 Carne asada Taco. They were honestly so good...until I woke up around 3am sick to my stomach. Turned out to be food poisoning, unfortunately, and I was terribly ill for 3 days straight. I believe it was the Pork, as I was the only one that ordered/ate pork form the restaurant. I get that things happen and places get busy when they first open and things can get undercooked or over looked, but I have had food poisoning from pork before and it lasts forever. Wanted to add this review just incase anyone experienced the same thing and for future food care purposes form the restaurant. Definitely plan to try again in the future, but I have been staying away from tacos and pork for a while, ha! read more

I was so excited to see a Mexican restaurant in Wellington with a 4.3 yelp score. My family and I went and tried several different tacos including Al pastor chicken, Al pastor pork, carne asada, Philly cheese and Birria along with the trio sampler with beans, rice and Mexican street corn. The bad - several tables were dirty even though they were not busy at all. There was a long hair in my husbands Philly cheese taco. The carne asada was chewy and grainy, the Al pastor had canned pineapple and also the same grainy texture as the carne asada. The rice had no flavor at all. The ok - the beans were not bad, the Birria taco was also ok. The good the Mexican street corn was delicious. Imagine Papi Chulos prices without the quality....hoping this place gets better. read more
