Love this location. Since they've opened I've eaten here a couple of times a month. I've ordered a variety of dishes and I have never been disappointed. My favorite dish is the Mahi Mahi fish tacos (plate or à la carte). I don't typically enjoy fish tacos BUT theirs is an exception because they're always flavorful and perfectly cooked. Service is always on point and the location is clean. Ordering online is super easy and they have curbside. Even if you are unavailable to park in the immediate two spots in front they'll still bring it out to you. Would recommend this restaurant. read more

I have been eating at dos for over 22 years now. And this is probably the worst service I've seen. We ordered two burritos yesterday, mahi mahi. One with and one without rice. The one with rice, I asked for the fish to be charred. They messed up and flopped the two. Okay. Fine. It happens. They comped my next two entrees. Decided to try again today. Ordered a vegetable quesadilla (see pic) and 2 other items. Paid over the phone for 3rd item. Husband brought them home. We see that the packaging for the quesadilla has changed. It used to come in a cardboard long box to prevent pieces of food from being piled on each other (again, reference photo). We open and see a huge pile of undercooked vegetables. Most out of the tortilla and literally 0 cheese. Wtf is this? I could have (and should have) made a better quesadilla at home. We came in on Mothers Day, we were greeted by a young lady who was patient & professional. She had curly brown with a beautiful smile. She took our order & repeated everything back perfectly. Afterwards my family & I sat down in front of the kitchen area, the sun was glaring at us due to no window blinds. But we made it work. However the service was outstanding. Tatiana (slim lady with bun) delivered our food and gave total attention & excellent customer service. Thankyou for making our 1st dine in experience comfortable. The restaurant & restrooms were also clean. Food was ok. I did ask for extra sauce & side of limes..with my Mahi Burrito & didnt get that...I was too hungry to ask for it & had to make sure my family was ok with their entrees. I work in Davis, so I know about Dos Coyotes food and service pretty well, and the Natomas location falls in line with their business model. The food is fresh, tastes great, innovative without getting too crazy, and their customer service is top notch and friendly. We met some friends recently who also have kids and the staff was super nice and accommodating with our kids being not exactly on their best behavior. I highly recommend the seasonal items, and right now with the Fall season here the Verde stew is really really good! But of course, you can't go wrong with their famous border burrito and make it wet if you're into that, the red sauce is fantastic! The salsa bar is a big draw too, my favorite is the green one! read more

My most recent experiences at this location have been great and today more so than ever. Robert took my phone order for pickup and was patient with all of my modifications. When I arrived one of my modifications was missing and he was friendly, professional and insisted on fixing it and made sure it was quick. My coworkers and I always often come here during lunch break. They never disappoint! We have a lot of dietary restrictions within our group but they have something for everyone! I usually get their Santa Fe salad when I'm feeling healthy or their paella burrito! Their salads are massive. I used to think you can't possibly get full off of salad.. boy was I wrong! They're the type or restaurant where you order at the cashier, grab a number, and they'll deliver the food. You would think there's not much customer service involved but they check up on you quiet often and ask if you need any boxes. Very clean & new location. I ordered over the phone and went in to pick it up. I was warmly greeted by the gentleman who rang me up for my food. I didn't have to wait for my order and I was directed toward the salsa bar without even asking. The salsa bar was immaculate as well as the rest of the restaurant. I did come in during the last hour of them being open, but that didn't stop them from giving me great customer service. I was even thanked for coming in, even though typical restaurants make you feel unwelcome for coming in close to closing time. Before I left another employee wished me a good night all the way from the counter. I felt appreciated and welcomed for coming in. My first experience with Dos Coyotes was a couple years back in Brooklyn. I desperately missed west coast Mexican food! It was wonderful. I couldn't wait to to get some. It took a couple of weeks and they seemed to take a couple of hits - I was worried. When I finally got my hands on a burrito I was completely satisfied. The kids loved their quesadillas. Mine, the chicken border burrito was awesome. The chips were great. I was totally satisfied. I'm looking forward to many more visits. I wouldn't consider this authentic Mexican but more american Mexican, Tex-mex type food. Great customer service, very clean and food appeared fresh. I had the border burrito with steak and a cold beer- that's a plus. Burrito was ok, but if you put sour cream and cheese on most anything it's going to be good. Habenero salsa is not hot, no afterburner. "Hot pico" is not spicy. However; I do eat ghost peppers so take that with a grain of salt. Overall, clean, fresh but basically a step up from Taco Bell or del taco. I would actually give it 2.5 stars. read more

One of my favorite chain restaurants in Sacramento! The tres tacos are my go-to, and the salsa bar is always good. The staff were super friendly and service was fast. There was a mishap with my order and they quickly fixed it. It's a great lunch spot and plenty of seating for small groups. I'm happy they opened up here and will be back. read more
