Wow! Such a great new place in nataomas! The food is fresh, the place is clean and the staff is amazing! I've been trying to come here every week as my go to food spot!! My faves are: mahimahi buritto Steak tacos on flour tortillas (they are freshly made) And I just tried the green chilli chicken stew today. SOOOOO GOOOOD! And their salads are huge! If you haven't been here- come check it out for yourself! Salsa bar has a good variety too! If you have been to the Dos Cayotees at the airport. (its horrible and slow) It's not the same ownership just part of the franchise. Same name and Brand but the food quality is much better at the actual restaurant! I love Dos Coyotes. I almost always get the Border Burrito with steak but it's just so good! The dining area here is really nice and open, and there's even some patio seating if you want to sit outside. The salsa bar makes it easy to find your perfect salsa for your meal. read more

So happy we now have a Dos in our neighborhood, hoping they can correct some of the issues with the previous reviews so it stays open. I love to support our local businesses especially when they provide outstanding customer service!! I've been here 3 times since they've opened and every time they have been friendly and super helpful. My go to is the paella burrito and my daughter orders the kids chicken burrito (tip: ask to add the aioli sauce they use in the paella burrito in the kids burrito) and we're always satisfied. Tonight we tried the potato taco special and it was delicious! The reason for the missing star is due to the chips... I still prefer the chips at the Arden location, but now I don't have to drive all the way there to get my Dos fix! read more

First time ever to a dos coyotes as this one just opened near our house so figured we'd give it to try. I've never been a. Fan of Tex mex style places but I was actually pretty impressed with this place. The decor inside is cool inside, the staff was super friendly and my mahi mahi burrito was actually really good. The only negatives were it's a little pricey, for the size of my burrito and no rice and beans. $10.50 for a medium sized burrito is a little expensive when I can go to a taqueria and get a bigger one for less money. The salsas weren't necessarily very good either. I only like 1 or 2 out of the 5 I tried. Overall though I enjoyed the atmosphere, customer service and the taste of my burrito so I would definitely recommend giving it a shot. Big beer selection as well. read more

This place is straight up FIRE. BIG portions for the price. I got the Navajo nachos and it was basically a WHOLE BAG of chips with hella toppings. Couldn't even finish it. The head honcho there Carlos came out and asked me if everything was good, too. The food here is very hit or miss. Mostly miss. You can tell the ingredients are always from yesterday! Cold, Stale chips, hard cheese and meat etc. I once kindly returned my order as it was just unbearable. I was polite about it. The manager began to argue with me that it was fresh. It wasn't. The staff was fantastic they brought out your food outside. Shady quiet off of Del Paso Boulevard very peaceful. Got the chicken taco and cheese enchilada with rice excellent got a side of the grilled corn so yummy. Ice-T was wonderful so was the shrimp salad it was huge very fresh very good one of my favorite places to go now! You should go it cost about $35 for two people pretty good for all the food you get and it was delicious! read more

I've never written a second review for a restaurant before. We eat at a Dos Coyote almost every week but this location is the best! The manager Carlos runs the restaurant so well. All the workers are very attentive and helpful. Carlos is there always ready to give a helping hand to anything you need! This location is further for us but we do go out of the way to eat here. Walking into this place for the first time I was super excited. I LOVE trying New Mexican food places & my husband had heard good things about this restaurant from a coworker. Walking out I was sorely disappointed. First, they had a pretty big salsa bar- huge plus for me, but it didn't include chips. So we had to wait to get a tiny side of chips with our meal to enjoy the salsa. We ordered the taquito kids meal for our 2 toddlers to share- they are little & never finish their own plate. There were literally 2 mini taquitos on the plate, & the side of fruit it cam with consisted of 2 orange slices. Not even the equivalent of half an orange. Total rip off. My husbands burrito didn't come with everything advertised on the menu, & while my enchilada/taco combo wasn't bad, I had to share my plate with my babies since their plate had about a half portion of food. And it was way too pricy for the small portions. So it was a bummer. Def a one time experience. read more

No more driving to Arden or Davis!! This location is open and fabulous! Yes!!!! I ordered my favorite salad - Howlin Tostada. I was not disappointed in the least. Great flavors. Excellent proportions (more than enough to satisfy for a meal). Fantastic salad I also ordered the chicken enchiladas. My honey is very happy! Great flavor. Fantastic proportions. I also ordered the green chili stew for him but that's his lunch for tomorrow. The only drawback for this location is parking. Last night, wife and I made the choice to pick-up dinner at Dos Coyotes in Natomas. This has become a weekly tradition for the last several months. I am a creature of habit and usually get the same thing. Wife likes to try experiment and different things. Their food has always been delicious and service by their staff always in the four or five star range. Last night, we called in our order as usual. They are located less than ten minutes from our home and they usually tell us that the order will be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived there and the gal helping me could not find my order in their system. It took five minutes for her to match my order. My name is "Bruce," but they put me in their system as "Rue." (I'm guessing there was lots of background noise when she took our call). Once I stated what we ordered, they were able to back trace to find the order. I paid for our food and took it home. Once home, we quickly realized that although my food was correct, they didn't give us the correct order for my wife. She immediately called the store and after a brief hold the Manager spoke to her. He was very apologetic and offered either a redo on the order or store credit. We were both "hangry" by that time, so she told him I would head on over to pick the food up. As promised, the Manager (I feel bad for not remembering his name), had the food ready for me upon arrival. I quickly grabbed the bag and headed home (again was Hangry). It wasn't until I opened the bag to grab the food that I found the certificate left by the Manager for two free entrees. He didn't have to do that (honest mistakes happen), but it was very much appreciated. The food there is always enough to keep us coming back, but the Customer Service is the extra gravy that makes us feel really good about supporting these businesses. Thank you!! read more

My favorites are the ranchero burrito which is absolutely amazing and full of flavor. I tried the green enchiladas tonight and it was phenomenal. What's even better is the customer service. Great place with great service! We were in the area for a soccer tournament, so we had a big group of players and families to feed. I called ahead to make sure they could accommodate a big group at 7 pm on a Saturday night. The manager assured me that they could, and they did not disappoint! They rearranged tables so the whole team could sit together, and helped make other large tables for the rest of us. Food and drinks were delicious, and service was great! Still not impressed with this location. Cashiers are rude, don't give you a receipt or offer a water cup while waiting 25+min for 3 tacos to go. Good thing they have hiring notice on the front door. This location has been mismanaged from the grand opening. To top off the long wait for a simple order, it wasn't good at all. The pork had zero flavor and don't you just love it when they give you a humongous piece of fat so one taco was a complete waste because there was only fat. Not sure what the problem is at this location but I've given them time to improve since the grand opening and it's still bad.... and you can't get more basic than tacos. read more

Horrible first time. I ordered 2 burritos to go, the mango and the border burritos both with charbroiled chicken. When i got home my mango DIDN'T have any chicken in it, NO avocado and barely any mango salsa, it was just a rice burrito. The other burrito my girlfriend had and she said it was good. Their border burritos are the ultimate comfort food! The quality is pretty consistent and the salsa bar is always full to the brim.
