The food here is fantastic and service is friendly and efficient. There's a small salsa bar where they have yummy chopped roasted Jalapeno that went very well with my Nopalito Omelette. I also got a side of Guac. That was yummy too. My husband had the Huevos Rancheros. They served it differently than other places. There wasn't a tortilla under the eggs. Instead the tortillas came on the side. He actually liked it this way. My son had the breakfast burrito with bacon and cheese. I don't remember what my friend's dish was called. I believe it was the special. Nonetheless, everyone enjoyed their food. My friend took us here after a friend introduced her to it.

My kind of place! Atmosphere is homey and small. The earlier you can get there, the better....and theres a reason......Everything on the menu is extremely tasty!!!!!!!!!! This was our second visit and I will return again and again From what I understand, employee owned!! Neighborhood staple!!! Support small businesses........

Nice little hole in the wall place. The staff was friendly. We got Philly cheesesteak plate and enchiladas. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious. It was on focaccia bread the seasoning the veggies everything was delicious definitely recommend and 10 out of 10. I was excited about the enchiladas because I get enchiladas almost every where I go The enchiladas were OK they were not my favorite. I definitely want to be ordering them again. I was expecting rice with it but it different because it was couscous but it was still good. I'd definitely come back for the Philly cheesesteak

Amazing food and service. Place is a little small to eat but food makes it worth it. Will be coming back more than often

Our family only eats out for breakfast when it's at Napolitos. I wish I could give the food and staff more than 5 stars. Everything they make is superb.

Chile Colorado w/ two scrambled eggs. The photo is deceiving.

Chile Colorado with fried potatoes and two scrambled eggs. I liked the flavor, but there was very little beef on my plate. And only two tablespoons of potatoes. Mostly chile sauce. I loved the two flour tortillas. In my opinion it was overpriced ($17.25) for the food. I won't return because I don't like restaurants that overpriced dishes. I would be embarrassed if I were the owner. PS. The gentleman that took my order was very pleasant!

Chille verde (spicy pork) burrito - the best burrito here

This is just a place that just hits the spot. If you enjoy a warm, cozy Mexican food, this is the move. I've been here a few times, but have not taken any photos as I was very early in my culinary journey. I recall having the chili verde, the cactus special, and the polenta. It was spectacular. You know it's good, when you bring friends here, and they ask "how I've ever never been to this place? The service is quick. Beware, it is cash only. You order at the counter. The gentleman there is very friendly. The food here is like a warm hug. It is using oozing with flavor. Honestly, the breakfast burrito I had today is probably the best breakfast burrito I've had in Sacramento. The pork was super tender and well flavored. There was a great balance of eggs in the burrito as well. Sometimes, I feel like places short you on the eggs. If anything, there was maybe too much egg. However, as someone who is looking out for their protein intake on a daily basis, I was not complaining. The tortilla held up very well. I liked that potatoes were well seasoned and soft. In the back, there are various sauces that you could add. While, I thought the red sauce was fantastic. This burrito did not need any addition.

Love supporting local, Latino-owned businesses -- and this little café does not disappoint! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and you can really taste the freshness in every bite. Highly recommend trying the Little Cactus Special with the 1/2 and 1/2 sauce -- it's the perfect combo of flavor and heat. Everything feels homemade and made with love. Also great news -- they now accept cards! Definitely worth a visit (or two!).

Was told locals especially in the east Sacramento area love to frequent here. Right off the bat, shout out to the staff for being so nice and accommodating as I didn't know they have a break and separate lunch menu as my objective was to try some pancakes! It's nice inside even though small with lots of seating inside and outside. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious! The chorizo burrito was flavorful and super filling! Definitely recommend the burrito with their house salsa at their salsa bar! Overall, highly recommend.

Hands-down, one of the best family owned Mexican restaurants in the East area. Everything is made from the fresh ingredients and they have wonderful daily specials. Small quaint restaurant with plenty of parking and outdoor seating. The owner takes very good care of customers and always make sure that everything is served to perfection.

The case had a good selection but quite a few were sold out already. Everything looks really delicious but I had to control myself. Almond Croissant $7.50 - I don't remember what this tasted like so it must've been standard. Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. The dipped part was like a white chocolate matcha and the inside matcha filling was so good. I don't know how but I fridged it and ate it the next day, IT WAS STILL CRISPY! This was the highlight and highly recommend getting it. Blueberry Choux $11 - This was also really good too. The blueberry filling was creamy and delicious. It tasted really fresh. Macarons $2.95 each - Standard stuff. I got a Thai coconut cream and this is a flavor I haven't seen before and recommend trying it! In summary, highly recommend trying this place. I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.

It's a small shop and there's usually a line, but they move pretty quickly and it's nice to have time to decide what you're going to order. On my last visit we picked up a couple brownies, a cookie, and one of their savory corn muffins with bacon and jalapeno. All the items are prices well, and are very fresh. I loved the brownies, especially the one with nuts. They're the perfect fudgy texture and while they're a good size, it's hard to stop eating them once you start. I recommend stopping in early for the most variety, they're the type of spot that once they run out of something it's gone for the day, and everything I've tried so far has been delicious.

We ordered a couple of items to try and I'll tell you I was full after a couple of bites and it carried me for the rest of day. We ordered jalapeño cheddar and classic sausage patty, egg, & cheese biscuit sandwich and biscuit 2 pack: blueberry and brown sugar biscuit. While picking up my boyfriend was recommended the cinnamon roll and he caved and got it! We had our pickup time at 7:30, but we showed up a little early and got our food around 7:20. There was a bit of a wait since there were some people ahead of us, so I'd recommend you going a bit earlier than your time just in case you're in a rush. We headed home to try everything. We really enjoyed the biscuits themselves as they didn't leave a dry or grainy feeling in your mouth. They had a good crust while being airy and light inside. The sandwiches were good, but they were anything crazy. Size wise it is small for the price you get, but I get it. It's all house made and fresh. We definitely think the biscuits themselves are the standout. The blueberry and brown sugar biscuits were a sweet tooth's heaven. The cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet either and had great texture and basically melted in your mouth. If you like that vinegar flavor - it kinda reminds me of a kombucha- it was delicious! If you don't like that flavor don't order it.
