Great service and wonderful staff! The comps are amazing when you play, but the prices are the best in town!

The store is full of visually appealing items, with so much to see that you'll definitely need to make a second visit just to ensure you didn't miss anything. I was looking for a shop in Las Vegas that sells Pokemon cards, and upon entering Wii Play, I was amazed by the variety and quantity of cards available, from blind-bagged, beautiful rares to graded specimens--they were all there on display! Most importantly, the card selection was great, and I ended up leaving with quite a few handfuls of awesome foiled Pokemon cards. Their prices are fair, sticking within (sometimes below) the current market value or online listed prices. The friendly staff has a no-pressure selling attitude and gives you space to check the cards while also being knowledgeable enough to provide information and insight about your purchases. This has now become one of my go-to shops for Pokemon card hunting and impulse buying anime and gaming fandom merchandise. PS. Have cash or your physical credit/debit card available as their tap-to-pay system is always having issues.

Went here today because our cousins were in town and we decided to take them on a card shop tour,…read morewii play games was one of our last stops. I was going to purchase some cards, stickers & a pop figure but I decide to take my business elsewhere because of the same rude, dismissive and judgemental woman at the register. Long black hair and thick black glasses, old. My brother wanted to inspect the cards I chosen because wii play games is notorious for overpricing lightly and heavily played cards. Now I typically do not care as long as I really want the cards and i love supporting businesses with good ethics. But when I had asked the woman to see my cards, she had already passed a look to me. I told her that I wanted to see my cards, we could move to the side and that she could help the next customer behind me. I guess she had a hard time understanding what I meant, because she caught even bigger attitude when she asked "did you mean weren't ready when you wanted to look at your cards" in a very condescending tone. Okay, cool you finally understand me! I laughed out loud at the audacity, but I said to her again, "well i did say you could take the next customer so we could look at the cards" and she threw whatever was in her hands on the counter and called for the next customer. At that point I felt gross from her attitude so I just dropped everything and said "you know what, we're good I'm not getting shit here we're leaving" and yes, before I left I told my cousin that "no i'm not getting anything anymore, the lady is being a bitch" out loud so she could hear. not nice, no, but felt justified considering I was being judged for triple checking some overpriced cards. Never going back here and nor am i ever recommending anyone to come again. I had issues with attitude by this repeat woman but I always brushed it off. Nah, never again.

R.I.P. to formerly the best Gamestop location in the valley which was one of several to be shut…read moredown in the latest wave of closures. This once was "the" place to go, had the best management, had the best midnight release events, and was convenient to get to. One of the former managers (initials G.L.) would go above and beyond to really make the place a party, the Halo and WOW events would include cookouts, live big screens, and a line that'd wrap around the entire building. You'd find yourself just popping in there at times with no intent to purchase just because of the positive vibe. Then we saw the decline of the region. Crime picked up. The homeless arrived. The population grew, the traffic in the area got worse. The traffic cones arrived, which made going over there even less appealing. Then, the management...the last time I visited the store, both employees in there smelled so strong of weed, they were dressed below even Gamestop standards, and the store was barren. The shopping center is now void of any meaningful stores, everything is closed down. It is a shame to see a once thriving area deteriorate so rapidly - but that is the nature of Las Vegas, they consume and destroy things faster here than anywhere else because there's no pride in the city. I suspect I will return in three to five years to this review and see that this was just the beginning of the Gamestop demise, as by then likely Gamestop will be no more - they simply aren't doing enough to adapt, modernize and compete with the digital marketplace. I hope I'm wrong.

The owner Brian stepped in, took full responsibility, and made sure I had all the information I needed. I was told my order should be shipping soon, and appreciated the assistance. I called back to check on the store credit, was first told by a gentleman named Malik, he mentioned that the box would be sold on the floor for $139.99 entailing to $60 store credit. But, a day later, prices weren't up on their website for the booster box, I went into the store and asked about the store credit, the owner mentioned that the store credit was only $50, because they were gonna sell the boxes for $149.99. So I took the store credit anyway. No point arguing. Then, when they finally came up with the store pricing. It lists on their website for $120. Yeah, I get it, pricing fluctuates. But words should be kept. The website's and email's customer service is almost non-existent, I'd recommend calling them and asking questions if needed.

I would understand if he was busy, but we were literally the only ones at the counter waiting to be helped. It was actually so awkward being here. Inside looks run down a bit as well and it felt very hot & humid. Smelled a bit funky.. but other than that I guess they have plenty of seating. Highly disappointed.
