They showed up on time in a clean, branded truck, with all supplies, moving blankets, and plenty of wardrobe boxes for our closets. They did an amazing job wrapping every piece of furniture, loading the truck, and then unloading in the new place in exactly the same way they packed up. They also hustled the entire time - did a 3 bedroom house in less than 5 hours, including drive time. And I had plenty of garage items, outdoor furniture, and a staircase from the primary bedroom.

I received a confirmation email and needed to provide a list of items to be moved. Received a call the day prior and also received a call immediately after the service was completed to ensure everything I wanted was covered and if the service was completed to my satisfaction. I shared I was very happy because the team led by Ivan was very careful with my items and made sure not to damage the walls or floors. They were thorough and were able to document previous damage from previous moves and ensured our TVs were working before and after a move and thus packaged carefully (very important because one of my TV screens was damaged in a previous move). They were very accommodating to where I wanted items to be moved and responsive to my needs. I HIGHLY recommend Roadway Moving! The experience with Roadway started off great! They were attentive, and the personal care for our move was so nice. We loved our movers and they took amazing care of our belongings! UNTIL... the moving truck hit the gate at my boyfriends apartment building. At first they were great about it. Someone reached out and took all the information, reached out to the management company of the building etc. The management company sent a quote to Roadway for the damage, and we thought everything was in the works, and all would be taken care of. Well, its been over a month since our move, and after MANY emails, texts and phone calls we have not heard a PEEP from Roadway. This is unbelievably unprofessional, frustrating, and SO disappointing after the move itself was such a great experience. I am writing this review to hopefully get the attention of someone at Roadway, and get this taken care of immediately. Understandably the building wants to get this fixed, and supposedly someone from Roadway is suppose to come and asses the damage...but we have never heard from anyone. They are holding my boyfriends security deposit, and now I am afraid that if they get it fixed without roadways physical assessment of the damage, that roadway won't cover the damages at all and we will get stuck paying for it. THIS SUCKS. Time to step up Roadway! ....and step up they did! Great customer service!

They moved me from DC to Sacramento costing me $15,000 then charged me $850 per month for storage…read more After I got all my stuff out of storage they had broken my TV and LOST/STOLE my couch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cost of those items was $3000. They said I didn't have the right "insurance". Why did I need additional insurance to make sure they did the basic job of moving my stuff and not stealing my couch????? They reimbursed me $1500. half of what they owed me. After I paid them more than $20k to move my stuff. BEYOND disappointing. After my review, they reached out and fully reimbursed me for the replacement cost. I appreciate that they care about the reviews and did right by me and my move. That says something.
