Uber Eats Delivery. Did my special requests PERFECTLY. Everything is perfectly hot. Everything looks fantastic. I've been looking for a good Chinese close to Lafayette for a long time. I'm not sure why I didn't try this before. Excellent Excellent Excellent.

Honey dew and taro milk tea boba
    Souzana V.

Stopped by this place after lunch to try a boba drink. My brother got the honey dew boba milk tea and I got the taro. He did not enjoy his and wished that it was more sweeter and that they didn't put too much milk tea in it. I actually enjoyed mine. It was perfectly sweet and I did taste the milk tea in mine, but it wasn't over powering. We both did agree that the boba was cooked perfectly. Just beware that this place will not be doing dine in anymore. They have stopped doing dine in since Covid. I asked the lady how long they have been there and she said the old couple who owns the place has been in business since 1981. I was only 2 years old! Lol She said the couple is planning on retiring and that's why they won't be doing dine in. Their menu looks good though. Maybe one day, I will try take out from this place. At this point, it's only fair to rate the boba drinks. For now, it's a 3 star.

    Chicken Egg Foo Young lunch
    Dawn A.

Hubs & I stopped in for a super fast lunch today. We were greeted by a very nice young man who seated us quickly and assured us he'd get the orders in as fast as possible. I had explained we had an appointment in half an hour. Hubs ordered chicken egg foo young lunch with wonton soup and an egg roll. The broth of the soup was very good as was the wonton. Yes only one wonton but it was a small bowl. I ordered chicken dumplings to share and rare steak pho to go as well as a taro boba. The dumplings were fresh, hot and bland as was the dipping sauce. I had also asked to try the hot n sour soup. It was very bland with a very strong starch flavor. Either potato or corn it just was not good. The egg foo young was also very bland and the sauce served with it was also very strongly flavored with starch. The egg roll was also bland. Brought the pho home and heated up the broth on the stove before pouring the boiling liquid over the rare steak and noodles. The broth was sooooooo salty. My husband literally cannot eat this because he has a heart condition that could be triggered eating this much salt. The noodles were way over cooked and the steak was sliced very thick and therefore not tender. It was not a good meal and unfortunately we will not be back. The two stars were strictly for the service. Food gets zero.

The food is extremely plain, even by Colorado standards for bland food. You get a lot for the money though. And the staff is super nice.

May a quick sear but not deep fried. *MANGO STICKY RICE: This was really good. We would come here for this alone. Our favorite was the tom kha and the mango sticky rice. The other dishes were OK. I came in on a very busy day of the year so am rounding up since the staff was working really hard to get orders out the door. I ordered a large chicken pho and roasted pork fresh spring rolls to go. The portion of pho broth and bean sprouts was great, but the amount of chicken was a bit disappointing (about 6 total pieces of shredded chicken). Broth was just ok, I added quite a bit of sriracha, lime, basil, and hoisin sauce and still felt it lacked some flavor. The spring roll portion size was great and I loved the massive serving of peanut sauce. The roasted pork inside was incredibly dry. I'd probably opt for tofu or shrimp next time.

The restaurant wasn't too busy. There were probably three or four other parties seated. We were seated at a spacious booth that accommodated us. The decor was Japanese and Thai themed. The menu has a plethora of options for what ever your taste are. We grabbed a couple of rolls, chicken, udon soup, beef, Ramen, yellowtail collar, seaweed salad, and some miso soup. All were really good. The kids loved the soup and the Ramen. The star of the show was probably the yellow tail collar served with a sweet sauce and a sour sauce (I forget the name of them). The food and the rolls came out relatively quick. The Hana roll was the best roll. Cold fresh fish surrounded by the perfect rice consistency. By the time we were done the restaurant was completely full which was incredible to see for a Monday night. The bill was very reasonable given today's inflationary prices. I'll definitely come back to try other items!

While there is a good amount of parking finding a space can be tough with busy businesses located nearby. I've had the pleasure of visiting this location on two occasions as part of a food panel. What's a food panel? It's where Noodle & Company gives tasters the opportunity to sample not yet released dishes and products. Tasting panel's last about forty five minutes and are very delicious and user friendly (each person has an iPad to complete questions about the items they taste). How did I get invited to do such a fun thing? I'm a longtime member of the Noodle Club and an avid user of their app. Invites arrive via email and if I'm interested to take part I complete a survey (it asks questions about allergies, etc.) to see if they are looking for opinions from people with my preferences and needs. If my attendance is indeed requested (after they review my survey results) I just go ahead and schedule which panel I will attend. Overall I love Noodles & Company. I'll never forget one of the first visits my parent's made to visit me out in Boulder, CO as they loved eating at one of their establishments so much they visited twice in one day.
