I don't cut my hair very often. It's hard for me to trust stylists because so many of them just want to cut it all off and give me the standard layers with framing around my face which I really hate, so it takes all year to grow back. Well, meeting Martha at Limón really made me think that I may have found a stylist that understood. She listened and gave thoughtful, patient suggestions of what had worked for other clients. She understood that although I know I needed to cut off a good chunk of hair, I needed to take it slow. She gave me options, cutting off a bit then after blow drying, let me take a look and decide if I wanted to take off more. Seeing it dry made all the difference and I decided to take off a bit more and felt good about it. Often times I'll leave a salon thinking that it's ok only to get home and realize that too much had been cut and I'd have to wait months and months for it to grow back. Not this time. I felt good about it when I left, and days later when I washed and styled it myself which is kind of rare for me:) The salon is in a convenient location and has great snacks and drinks for their clients.
