Finally found a great tasting DD up here in the Metroplex since moving from Austin. The food is fantastic. Yes We have been to other DDs up here and food was not close to being good. Besides the food, the first thing I noticed instantly was the customer service. I have to say by far has been the best I've seen in a long time. Curtis was his name and turns out he is management and about 6 mos in looking to model this type of customer service. We drove from Addison to Keller and we'll surely return. Stopped in for lunch around 1 for lunch buffet on our way from Austin to okc. We've loved double daves since college and this location didn't disappoint. They were quick to put fresh hot pizza out whenever anything got low. The place was nice and clean and the employees were professional, helpful, and got the tables clean and wiped down quickly after people left. The GM Curtis was very friendly and helpful and even gave us better directions back to I-35. Customer service was great and the bathrooms were nice and clean too! Thanks Curtis and Double Daves for the great lunch on our road trip! We'll stop the next time we come through! read more

GREAT buffet tonight. The staff was cheerful and attentive. We have a group of high school buys that we treat to Sunday dinner once a month and one suggest DoubleDave's. I'd never been there. The food was plentiful, fresh, and DELICIOUS. This is EXACTLY what we were looking for. read more

This place has really went downhill. We have been coming here for four years, and I have told myself the last three times that it would be our last. Tonight was our last. The staff sucks. The customer service sucks. When someone walks by me twice and I have to talk out loud about it and ask for someone to come help me before I lose it, there's something wrong with that. They close the buffet, salad bar, and take all the tea out soooo early. There are conflicting hours online. The girls in the back would rather sit around and talk than work or help the customers. No wonder every time I come in here and there are less and less customers. I don't blame them. Tonight with my family's last night to visit this place, we will be finding a better pizza buffet. To answer the questions this person below me posted, and him trying to tell me what happened even though he wasn't there... I will clarify more. There were customers leaving when I walked in. They were still there. Not 10 to 15 minutes prior to my arrival. Your "driver "did not immediately come up to me. I was in there for several minutes walking up and down the buffet standing by the cash register and said out loud it would be nice if someone would come help us, then he quit watching TV and walked over to us. The salad bar, it was completely broken down. Offering to make me anything I wanted... Negative. Nothing was offered to us. When we were paying and I was asked if I wanted a drink or water I said yes I'll have tea. When I go around to get my tea, the tea is completely broken down. I do not drink carbonated beverages. Not one time where we helped or asked if there was anything that could be gotten for us. Not one single time. When I was standing at the bar confused about the drink situation, your workers walked by me twice. I had to say something out loud to get the person in the back off of her but to come up and ask me what was going on so she could go get someone else to come help me. Ridiculous. Your website says 9 o'clock, other websites say 10. And I didn't see anywhere that said buffet closed at 8. In fact, we have been in there multiple times closer to 9 in the past. But with the way you're coming at me, when I am the customer, I see why you don't have customers in there when we come anymore. But that's OK because you just lost this one, and I have a lot of friends. read more

They closed down the buffet over 30 minutes early. Advertised as 8pm for the end of buffet time. Do not understand why.

Been a customer for a long time but that changed today. Went in for the lunchtime buffet with my two sons and we requested pepperoni rolls as our item of choice. They brought a couple of batches out and I managed to get three total. After waiting about 15 minutes, I asked for more, since they were out. A few minutes later, they brought out a tray of six to another table. I asked the manager why he didn't put any out on the buffet. He basically told me we had had enough, they were losing money on people eating to many pepperoni rolls and we were cut off!!! I've never heard anything like that before. After asking for the owner to contact me, they eventually put more rolls out on the buffet line. It's not like we are big eaters; I'm nowhere near pro football size - not even close - and I only had 3! I don't get it. But what they don't get is me EVER coming back. Enjoy your rolls! read more

I LOVE Double Dave's! Every time I come in, they ask me what my favorite pizza is and it's brought out on the buffet within 5-7 minutes! The pizza is SO good! Their buffet is fresh and they are always bringing out more! The store is always kept clean and the employees are always friendly and helpful. I've never had a negative experience at Double Daves! My favorite pizza spot in town for sure!! read more

It's basically a local version of CiCis, but with that Denton touch, and much much cleaner.

I LOVE Double Daves. Not this location. I placed a delivery order around 7:30pm. About 15 minutes later we received a call to say they did not have the ingredients to make one of the pizzas I ordered, I asked for something different which they ALSO did not have the ingredients for. Finally I just said to send more pizza rolls. At about 8:45, still nothing had arrived so I called. I was told "Yeah my driver showed up and it was like a town square or something so he left" No call. Nothing. He just left. I live in the Arthouse Apartments which ARE located in Keller Town Center. When I expressed my frustration, he did not offer a refund, to redeliver or ANYTHING. I had to ask for a refund to which I was told "I guess." When I told him that leaving without calling was unacceptable, he simply said TOO BAD and HUNG UP ON ME. The next day I did not receive my refund. 2 days went by before I finally called corporate and had the money refunded. But even still, corporate said that this is an independently owned location and they have no control over customer service. Wow. I hate to think about the care that they put into making food. read more

I've eaten here twice in the last 5 years with very large groups, the most recent being with a group of 35 hungry swimmers coming from a late night meet. The pizza, of course, is among the best in the area---fresh ingredients, creative combinations, and a perfectly-textured soft crust---but I was most impressed this time with the service. We arrived just a half-hour before closing, but the manager, Curtis, and his crew whipped out 10 or 12 of the finest pizzas and treated us like royalty. I tasted at least 6 different types of pizza, among them buffalo chicken, barbecue chicken, and tomato basil, and they were all flawless. We also had something that I guess I would call a Philly Cheese Roll (Like a giant Philly Cheesesteak sliced cross-wise multiple times) that was out of this world.. I will be back, and I won't wait five years this time! read more

Its delicious pizza and you can make a request at the register and in 15 minutes they will build you whatever kind of pizza you want. Ice cold beer and the guy who runs it is really nice, and a veteran I think, and so are the wait staff and chefs. I highly recommend it for quality, quantity, taste, price, cleanliness, and service in an excellent atmosphere with 42 inch tvs on every wall. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. I have never had a more horrible dining experience at any restaurant. There were a total of 6 in our party, 2 on my ticket. It was a first time for myself, my son, and my parents. I can't stand to eat buffet so we ordered sandwiches. The time on my receipt reads 6:22PM. The food wasn't brought to our table until 7:07. During that time no one approached us to let us know there was going to be any kind of delay or that it was going to take so long. Twenty minutes into our wait I approached the cashier to inquire as to the status of our order. I was told that they were "backed up" and they were just now going into the oven and it would be 5 minutes. I don't understand how they could have been backed up. They were putting pizzas on the buffet nonstop. It was on a Wednesday and there were only 3 other parties in the building all eating off the buffet. We finally got our food delivered to our table 25 minutes later (for a total wait time of 45 minutes) with NO apologies. The sandwiches were served lukewarm with ice cold sauce. I can't believe I spent $25 for that crap. I have contacted their corporate but no one there cares either. Save yourself the money and headache and eat somewhere else. read more
