I am reviewing these delicious frozen dough to go butter cookies. O my gosh, they are so good. I honestly didnt expect to even write a review on these but when it is good, people need to know about it. They taste just like from a bakery and you can make them in your very own kitchen. They are buttery and soft and the sprinkles on top are not gross like some can be. Simply divine. I need to order some different flavors now.

Love doughtogostores.com chocolate chip cookies! Heavenly!!

I use a picture of the cookies as my yelp photo! I order Dough-to-go cookies several times a year. There is no comparison between "home-made" cookies and those of Dough-to-go: the cookies are PERFECTLY shaped EVERY time, EVERY cookie has the same amount of chocolate chips and their shipping system of ice and insulated cooler can't be matched! I've had the cookies waiting for me on my front porch for three hours and the ice around the box of cookies doesn't even have moisture on it! Cookies are freshly made the day of ordering. They are so convenient to bake: I take out six at a time 2x a week, place on a cookie sheet at preheated oven 350, bake for 18 minutes. Heaven!!

Can these be purchased locally? I live in Santa Clara and would love to pick some up.

I would call Michael and ask him if you can come by and pick them up. They are fabulously delicious I might add. They do not sell them in a grocery store, only the place where they make the dough. Michael responds to email promptly. Toni

We checked in and were seated right away, and the setup was absolutely beautiful! They brought out our tea first, which we enjoyed while waiting for the pastry tower to arrive. Once it came out, they told us to eat from top to bottom, so that's exactly what we did! Each bite was delicious, everything tasted freshly baked and made, and I especially loved that the pastries weren't overly sweet. Although we enjoyed eating the tower from top to bottom, next time we would probably go from bottom to top since we like to save our sweets for last! Of course, we couldn't leave without getting more pastries to bring home. They have plenty of classic pastries, like croissants, along with more unique specialties, like their croissant cube. Everything looked and tasted so fresh, with that perfect flaky, crackly texture. The pastries are a little pricey for bakery items, but in my opinion, they're definitely worth it for the quality and freshness. Overall, we had such a lovely time celebrating my grandma's birthday here and would definitely come back for more pastries!

I had such a fun time exploring their bakery and café offerings. It's the kind of place where everything looks too good to pass up. I started with a Cappuccino 16oz (creamy, rich, and the perfect morning pick-me-up) and a Caramel Macchiato 16oz with oat milk for a smooth, slightly sweet twist. The pastries were next-level: the Mango Cream Donut was light, fluffy, and bursting with fruity goodness, and the Guava Danish was perfectly flaky and sweet with just the right hint of tropical flavor. *Tina's Tips: - Grab a tray, tongs, and parchment paper to make picking your pastries fun and easy. - Add all the pastries you want and checkout at the counter. - If you buy a cake, ask them to hold it while you enjoy your coffee and treats in the café. It's a nice little bonus! Just come here with your friends or yourself! We came to the shop around 11:30 a.m. on August 23rd…read more When we arrived there were two patrons outside enjoying their coffee and pastry and another set of patrons inside a little girl with their dad having a little tea party. I will say that walking in the space is elegant is the word I would like to use but also inviting with the little extras that they do at the table with the fresh flowers the soft chairs the colorful decor that surrounds it. Also the two individuals behind the counter that were taking orders and packaging things were just a delight. Both of them greeted us with a smile and they asked us if it was our first time to the shop and we told them yes and so they walked us through some of the more popular items and how are things were broken down and that was very much appreciated cuz there are many many options in front of you in unless you know exactly what you want you can be looking at everything for a couple of minutes before you decide on even one thing. We ended up getting a regular latte and a rose latte for our drinks. And then as a little delicious taste of something we got the chocolate croissant and the almond croissant. I am going to comment on my rose latte first that thing was beautifully made because though it was sweet but in a way that wasn't overpowering because you could still taste a little bit of the caffeine the creaminess of the milk that was used and the espresso it was like a hint in the background so a little call out there if you're someone that really wants to taste their coffee this wasn't the jam for you and that's okay my husband got the regular latte with steamed milk and I tasted his and that was like coffee in your face so you can always go for a solid twist like that. And to clarify his latte was also very good because it just tasted so fresh and of high quality. Now for the pastries. They were stupendous because they had the right amount of flakiness but softness. They also were buttery but not overly so were like major hands feel greasy it was so savory both of them which is interesting because the fillings one was chocolate one was almond I would have thought that both of them would have had an overpowering sweetness to them. We will say that we both liked the almond croissant more not that the chocolate one wasn't just as good. The almond had a little bit of a 1up because I don't know how to explain it it's almost like it had a almond crumble at the top so you bit into the pastry which was fluffy but you had the crunch on the top then you had a little bit of the almond filling and then you had the butter and like the soft but almost chewiness of the inside of the layers just stupendous all of that together was great. If we end up ever being in that area again will definitely want to go back to try the rest of the stuff they had because I want to know how everything else takes especially those beautiful cakes that were just art themselves

This time I decided to stop by here after dinner, my first time sitting down here and ordering. The inside is very clean, modern, and Pinterest-like. The cakes are not too sweet, so definitely Asian parent approved haha! Unfortunately, when we came around 6:30pm, they were sold out of most flavors - so would definitely recommend coming earlier or just ordering online earlier in the morning for pickup. We got the sesame dark chocolate crepe cake. When you eat in the store, the owner provides you with free cups of tea, which are really great for washing down the cake. The chocolate was super rich, and they did not skimp out on the flavor - super chocolatey. The sesame added such a fun earthy and nutty flavor - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The cake is on the slightly denser side, so was super filling. While on the pricier side, the flavors are super unique and the craft that goes into crepe cakes is commendable. When we've brought it to social gatherings in the past, it's also always a hit. Their other desserts, like their lemon bars, french napoleon, and turtle cheesecake, are also major hits. So when it was time for my wedding, I knew I had to get my cake from them! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. They offer cake tasting boxes that include their most popular flavors. However, we had a specific taste profile in mind and asked if they could custom make the samples for us - they said yes without hesitation and didn't charge us extra! The samples were delicious and the pickup process was easy. We went with a ribbon cake (chocolate and vanilla) with fresh strawberries, whipped cream filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. I also had a very specific vision for my wedding cake - I wanted a detailed three-tier cake with buttercream vintage flowers. We also ordered a plain sheet cake with the same flavors to ensure that we had enough slices for our guests. I worked with Fariba during the ordering process and they were great. I am truly still SHOCKED at how beautiful the cake was and how it matched the inspo photo perfectly. It was a showstopper and extremely delicious. See the photo for details! It was covered in chocolate and filled with custard, and it was just the right sweetness and not too sweet. The size was pleasing, and the custard filling was good. The cake was not enjoyable; to be fair, this might or might not be due to personal taste. It was a 3-layer vanilla cake filled with lemon mousse, covered in buttercream and white chocolate bark pieces, and topped with 10 blueberries. This flavor can be found on their website catalog. I don't know if this is typical for this bakery, but the cake was heavy, claggy on the bottom, and way too sweet. The lemon mousse tasted incredibly strange, as if it were artificial or maybe had some kind of herb or weird flavoring added. The less said about the cream, the better. The white chocolate was quite good though. I saw they had a wide variety of cake offerings, but I don't think I'd want cake from here again. I might get the choux pastry again.

It was near 5pm. I walked in and the place was empty. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me. I asked for a strawberry smoothie, then walked around to survey all the baked goods. It's a small bakery with lots of trays of individually packaged cakes and pastries. The smell was very pleasant and comforting. Using a flat basket (or tray) I grabbed a few selections. I picked 2 "Heart Pies" that resembled my favorite French Butterfly Cookies. Also 2 pound cakes. The total rang up to just over $21. There's some small tables for enjoying your purchases there, but I took my items to go. The icy cold fruit smoothie was very good and very cold! Not too sweet, it had a natural strawberry taste. The Heart Pies were good and fresh. But the Pound Cakes were probably "day old." I noticed there's no dates or "best by" tags on the packages. It's a nice place to visit, and I will return again. The items were in generic packaging without labels, so take a pic of the items you like so can order when visit next time. While my family enjoyed all the items, I really enjoyed the black sesame studded puffy rolls that I think were made with rice flour. There was a large group of older Asian ladies, including one who brought their lap dog, enjoying good conversations in their native language with their baked goods and tea or coffee. Overall Rating: 4.2…read more I've ordered these cookies at least 4-5 times now, and at this point I'm convinced there's some kind of cookie sorcery happening in that kitchen. These things just don't miss. There are a ton of positives and only a couple of nitpicks, so for my first 4-star Yelp review, this one's is going to be good. Chocolate Chip Pecan This flavor is definitely one of them ones. The minion size is soft, warm, and loaded with gooey chocolate when you break the cookie apart. The chocolate leans on the sweeter side, which I personally enjoy, though I can see it being a bit much for some people. I was honestly a little nervous about the pecans because I thought they'd overpower the cookie. Nope. They added just enough nuttiness and reminded me of a soft nougat, balancing out the sweetness without stealing the spotlight. The monster size is equally impressive. It's about the size of those Costco food court cookies... except better. It has a slight crisp on the outside, stays soft in the center, and every bite is packed with melty chocolate and pecan again. White Chocolate Pecan The white chocolate pecan is similar to the chocolate chip version, but with white chocolate instead. It has the same soft texture and balanced sweetness, and if you enjoy white chocolate, it's a solid option. Salted Chocolate Chip The salted chocolate chip was the only flavor that didn't quite hit for me. It's flatter, almost like a smash burger patty, and while I know it doesn't use dark chocolate, I picked up a slight bitterness. The salt also came on a little stronger than I prefer. My fiancée actually liked this one more than I did, so this may just come down to personal taste again. The prices are fair, the owner is a cool dude, and after several orders they've earned my trust. I still have a few flavors left to try, but if they're anywhere near the chocolate chip pecan, I'm not too worried. I'll definitely be placing another order soon.
