First time and LAST time here... We were excited to try this place out since our usually spot is the World Donuts off of Capitol Exp and Capitol Ave, and decided to try The Jelly Donut from all the "good" reviews. We were helped out by the elderly woman at the shop. We ordered: -2 Jalapeño hot dogs (Requested to be warm) The jalapeño hot dogs were not warm. They were very tough and hard to chew as if it was days old. -2 Sugar donuts Too airy and not enough dough -1 Viet Coffee When this was served to us, the lady didn't even make eye contact with us but just passed the coffee on the counter. It was mainly filled with just ICE, and not even filled with coffee to the top. We let her know right away that it was just ice, and she just said "Yeah thats ice coffee". Instead of going back and forth with her on it, we just left in disappointment. (Please see the pictures). -Payment When it came time to pay, we asked if there was a card charge and she said no. When we swiped our card, it asked to give a tip and she said "just pick one" - meaning tip was required with no option to not give tip. read more

Their cronuts are good so we get them a lot. My only complaint is that when I order them through Doordash they often send them out in a paper bag instead of a box which makes us not want to order them. Some dashers put them in a bag but often they're just put on their seats or somewhere else in their car, which isn't sanitary. They arrived slightly warm which makes me think they were sitting in the heat or the sun somewhere and a box gives them a little more protection. read more

I like coming here for those donuts and cronuts holes! I always get the regular glaze with custard and the cronut both glaze and cinnamon with custard. It's the perfect breakfast snack to share since everyone at work is always cautious about their diet. I like getting the custard because it's not too sweet. I did get their latte the other day and it was pretty mid. Next time I will try their Vietnamese coffee and maybe their breakfast sandos, those look pretty good too! Jelly Donut is an okay spot in the area to grab a donut. I don't know if I would go out of my way for it, but they're still decent donuts. My main complaint was the service. I came in, and the lady behind the counter was nice enough, but had no idea what types of donuts they had, and couldn't provide much in the way of info or recommendations. Oh my gooooddnessss. I didn't know I could love a simple turkey sandwich so much! I got mine on a croissant. It had bacon, veggies, cheese, all that good stuff. It tasted so fresh and yummy. It's too easy to walk buy the box 20 times and take one little cronut or donut hole. I probably ate a dozen myself. Here is my two cents on the quality quantity and price of this the jelly donut.. it was delivered by Uber eats in a timely matter. And the driver had great outstanding communication. I requested 2 cups of coffee, three old-fashioned donuts, one apple fritter a strawberry strudel . And a regular oat donut.. All I got in my order was one coffee, one old-fashioned donut, and one apple freighter . I don't know who screwed up most likely the jelly donut shop, and not so much Uber eats . so it's obviously someone at the donut shop could not read instructions from Uber eats. And my French roast doughnut, though was prepared with proper sugar and cream it was lukewarm at that upon arrival . This place has: bagels, donuts, croissants, sandwiches. 5am-7pm daily The bagels are not the main event here, and seem like they might have been purchased at an inexpensive grocery store, so we won't be returning for those. They had the large shape, and fluffy bready texture one sometimes finds in chain grocery store bagels. They're probably meant only for their bagel sandwiches, not to-go for breakfast like we did. My boyfriend and I were craving a breakfast sandwich from a local donut shop. Saw that we were nearby The Jelly Donut and decided to give them a try! When we walked in, we saw a small line. It was moving pretty slow, but understandable because only 2 people were working. One person making the sandwiches and one person handling everything else. We ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee and wanted an egg, bacon and cheese on croissant but they ran out of croissants, so we ordered it on sourdough bread. I would say skip on the vietnamese iced coffee, it tasted burnt. Not sure if it was just a bad coffee day or if that is how it usually tastes. The breakfast sandwich was good, would have wanted to try it on the croissant but the sourdough bread was good and you can actually taste the sour in the bread. The cronut and custard-filled donut holes were good. There wasn't a lot of custard filling in the donut holes though. Cronut holes! The dough is perfect for a cronut. The filling is a nice surprise. Their filling is on the sweet side, and I've only tried their custard filled donut holes and cronut holes. Both yummy but so sweet, you can only eat a few before you get a sugar rush. Definitely one of the better donut shops out there and a real treat for coworkers if you pick up donuts or cronuts here for the office. Staff are nice and helpful. Everything about this place was perfect. The service was wonderful, friendly workers, and hardly a wait to order or receive our items. They had so many choices for donuts, cronuts, breakfast sandwiches, and beverages. It was hard to choose what do get on a Saturday morning, with the place fairly empty and the display case fully stocked with pastries! I ended up getting my regular, an iced mocha, and we got a couple breakfast sandwiches and cronuts to share. Everything was OMG yummy!! My iced mocha was a freshly made concoction of chocolatey goodness. My breakfast sandwich came with flavorful and juicy pieces of sausage and bacon, fluffy egg, a layer of melted cheese, and a flaky and buttery croissant, which altogether was so satisfying! I've visited this location three times in the last couple of months! For a Saturday morning they weren't a lot of people in line (very surprised) but when we visited (the next day) Sunday around early morning there were a couple people in front of me. It's easy to just get a dozen donuts, but try the cronut holes, THEYRE SO GOOD! The breakfast sandwiches are freshly made and are soo filling. This place feels like you're walking into a family friend's shop, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I look forward to waking up early on weekend and walking here. :) read more

They are very friendly and nice, sometimes they will start conversations with you if you're a regular customer while you wait for some of the items being prepared for you. It was my first time trying this donut shop, despite living around the area for years. I was surprised when I saw their cronuts. To my knowledge, there's only one donut spot nearby that sold cronuts. I got a bagel breakfast sandwich, croissant sandwich, chocolate cronut and apple fritter. The sandwiches are delicious, flavorful and fulfilling. Cronut wasn't too sweet and it was flaky. Those cronut holes are to die for but they are a bit inconsistent. It really varies who is working that day. I've had some when you can tell there is weight to it and sometimes some are filled with a dime amount of cream. Also I was told you can request to add strawberry jelly as well, but it also varies. I asked one time and I was told they don't do it but when I brought up someone told me that this is an option they switched up and was available all of the a sudden. I used to love the Jelly Donut because their apple fritters were fluffy and lightly glazed. But it looks like the Jelly Donut has changed their recipe.
