Its sort of an antique coffee shop. They have nice flavored coffee options and of course they have amazing choices for donuts. Specialty donuts come at a different rate than traditional donuts you are also able to dip and design and have various donut options. The thing I like the most is that you're allowed to get any donut that's original or specialty in a certain amount for a decent price especially since it's specialty donut. They also have cake pops and they do have munchkins of their own. I had a cappuccino which was nice but there's a sign that shows their specialty coffee's as well and I wish I had tried nutella next time. There wasn't anything too special about the customer service besides them being friendly and normal. The place is pretty tidy for the most part in clean and and the furniture is like antique. My dentist will confirm, I have a sweet tooth. Not "too" sweet, pixie sticks and solid caramel are an overload for me however donuts are just right in the middle! Dougholoy's donuts have become sort of an office favorite and I've eaten them more than I should probably admit ... in numerous quantities at a time too, gotta try 'em all! Gosh. They have SO MANY flavors. Saying there's "something for everyone" is incredibly cliche but true. Their menu boasts sweet, savory and even bacony! There's even a topping bar where I think you can make your own concoction. Did I mention that toppings are loaded per order for you? Neat model - very visually appealing. I have to admit that personally, I don't prefer cake donuts. I wish I did, because I would likely worship this place as my temple of doughnuty-deity. To me cake donuts are too heavy, too much. I like to eat a few. After two of these babies you'll be quite boof'd - cheeks out and all! Like fellow yelper Albert mentioned, the chocolate donuts are a bit drier than the plain standard. It's amazing -- toasted locally (Island Park?) brewed daily and so so delicious. I usually make my own with beans from Cyrus in bay shore but when I don't (or the days I need a double dose) their cold brew is perfect treat. Whole, Skim and creamers to the side. No dairy free moo moo for you strange folk who are sensitive. Doughology still has a lot going for them. Great business model, creative space and inspiring story. I am obsessed with this place! My sister have been raving about these doughnuts for a while now so I had to check them out for myself. So like I am all about these doughnuts. Despite living less than 15 minutes away from Doughology for yearssss, I only just came to indulge in these bangin' donuts last weekend! Of course, I'd been following their IG page when I stumbled on an inventive Rainbow cookie donut...so when my bff was in town who LOVES rainbow cookie, and they just so happen to be making it that weekend, the stars aligned and I drove over on a Sunday morning to get our rainbow cookie fix in. I ate my donut right then and there and man was it delicious, the smell of the almond batter was filling the store and there's no way I'd make it all the way home without taking a bite anyway so I gave in and parked it right on a table in the sunlight and devoured it (post-photo shoot of course). I held onto my friend's donut until the following day when I saw her, and it took some will power to not take a bite of hers but I managed. Her mother and her raved about the smell as soon as they opened the container and also loved the flavor. Anytime my bff visits I try to find a new rainbow cookie concoction for her to try and this is by far one of the most delicious and authentic creation we've come across. First time here and I'm hooked! The staff were young and friendly. I had a party I was going to and my usual bakery was closed, so my trusty Yelp app found me Doughology and it was a fantastic treat. It was slightly too sweet so we'd say pair it with a cup of coffee or tea. - Fruity Pebbles: (8/10) This one is a child's dream come true...and a big kid's too if you're into the colorful, sugary cereal that is fruity pebbles! Funny thing about cancer, you could have all these life plans but cancer makes you take a different course. This is the case of the owner Jackie. I read about Jackie in Newsday and saw the spot on News 12. She was a stockbroker as well as an athlete when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After reading her story and losing my brother when he turned 30 to a rare form of brain cancer, I knew I had to drive to Lynbrook and support her business. I walk in Valentines Day to a packed store. I see a distinguished looking gentleman who tells me, take a number sir. I'm viewing a serious doughnut operation in Lynbrook. There is a huge doughnut fryer-maker and next to that is the prep section for the toppings. (I'm eating my chocolate-oreo doughnut while typing) Normally a place this busy, no one has time to chit chat. I walk over to the gentleman and ask him who the owner is. He tells me, its my daughter Jackie who is wearing the black hat. I introduce myself and tell him I was so touched by her story that I drove from Port Jefferson to Lynbrook to support her and her new business venture. He starts telling me "he" had cancer and is a survivor. His daughter is strong, they both beat it and are in this new bakery venture. Now Jackie comes towards us and he introduces me to her. I tell her I was so touched by her story, I came from Port Jefferson to support her business. I told her my brother passed when he was 30 and I'm glad she's a strong survivor. She hugs me, says thank you and takes my order of a 1/2 dozen doughnuts. Sal turns to me and said they're from Brooklyn and now here in Lynbrook. Jackie comes back and hands me the box and says thank you. I put a bunch of money in the tip jar and she says to please donate to Breast Cancer Awareness. Now all this sounds great but how are the doughnuts?!?! Lemme tell you, Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme are yuckko as to what is being served at Doughology. My French Toast Doughnut was fresh and tasted amazing. That's the thing with a freshly made doughnut compared to a mass produced product. You can tell just on mouth feel that the chain doughnuts are a fake mess. This is what every doughnut should taste like, fresh and amazing. As to the other Yelpers, the doughnuts made here are more cake like and not like an airy Dough doughnut. Still 1000 percent better than any chain place. I had my eye on this place ever since my boy Jason C. posted his review & pics. But I haven't had a chance to get over that way until today. Parking was a little hectic but we got there late on a Saturday & found a spot & fed the meter. When we walked in there was a line almost out the door & it was kind of intimidating. LOL Meanwhile my son is at the front of the store helping Miss Lady who is getting boxes. He helped her move a chair, no big deal, but he scored a free donut. We said she didn't have to do that but she insisted. We ordered a dozen total. 6 for Son & Me and 6 for Stevie. We tried the Maple Bacon, Lemon Coconut, Apple Strudel, Peanut Butter Cup, Strawberry & Raspberry Cheesecake, son made a white frosted with Capn Crunch. The ones I had were amazingly delicious! Way better than I expected! I stopped by this morning and got the s'mores, peanut butter cup, chocolate oreo, and twix donuts. They were fresh and DELICIOUS. Their doughnuts are tasty but I primarily patronize Doughology for their rainbow cookie doughnuts. The rainbow cookie doughnuts are only available on selected Sundays (schedule is on their website) and they're delicious! Some of their doughnuts are hit and miss but the rainbow cookie ones are a guaranteed hit! Pretty solid donut place tucked behind the Lynbrook LIRR. I'm a huge fan of Voodoo Doughnuts from out west, so I'm still in search for something close to their quality. Doughology has their menu board of donuts with pictures. They have more than their basic flavors from s'mores, Girl Scout flavors of thin mint or samoa to even French toast. They are mostly famous for their rainbow cookie donuts which are not available everyday. Doughology usually posts on their Instagram and Facebook pages when they are available (which seems to be every other Sunday). You can call ahead after their post to make sure they put some on hold for you. They were quite delicious, but one is plenty. The rainbow donut has each layer with raspberry jelly in between the cake like colorful layers. Just like a rainbow cookie, it is topped with chocolate icing and a rainbow cookie for garnish. I also liked the French toast bagel as well. The cheesecake donut has a choice of jelly on top (strawberry, raspberry or blueberry). I really liked that they don't pipe the creams or jams on some of the donuts until you order them, so they don't get soggy through the day. Best deal is the half dozen for $11. However depending on the donut, there may be a small up charge (indicated on the menu board). What I like about their donuts that they are not overly sweet. The flavors are pretty balanced and made fresh. Although it's not quite the same as the voodoo donuts out west, I would still go back to try some more. read more

They're pretty good! Get there early as they were out of chocolate donuts when we arrived about two hours before closing and they ran out of donuts entirely a customer or two after us. My order consisted of a raspberry Nutella (only chocolate donut they had left), 2 churro, 2 snickers, a cinnamon bun, a French toast, a vanilla with vanilla + graham crackers, Apple crumb, 2 samoa, and a cinnamon donut they forgot to ice but that's okay we all make mistakes. I tried four of these: - Churro: Left something to be desired. Just a cinnamon donut with whipped cream and a small amount of caramel drizzle. It was okay. - Samoa: Another one that left me somewhat underwhelmed but it was still good. You can't really taste the coconut, but I've worked with bulk-order coconut and that's pretty much an across the board thing I can't fault them on. - Apple Crumb: Fantastic! The Apple pie filling contrasts nicely with a little tang to counteract the sweet sweet cinnamon sugar donut. - Snickers: My favorite of the ones I've tried. A lot of dimension to this one! Vanilla donut acts as a nice medium for the chocolate icing, caramel, and the crunch of the peanuts. Very nice, will def return for another one of these. A few things to add: A dozen specialty donuts is $26.00, but each donut is pretty hefty and feels like a meal. They have a donation prize wheel where you give a dollar and you can spin it. Pretty cute idea and we got a free cold brew substituted for a cocoa which was nice of them to do on a hot summer day! Relatively small location, cozy feeling. They do not have a baker on site for their hours so if they run out, they run out. Try and get there early. I've been wanting doughnuts for 2 weeks and I forgot that this spot existed! My sister was the one who discovered this doughnut place a few years ago and I've been here 2 times. The doughnuts are fresh and sweet! I thought that it would have been a little bit bigger but unfortunately not. The doughnut itself is dense and sweet. The fruity pebbles on top is the perfect pairing! I like the rasberry jelly doughnut but again I wish it was bigger. I thought that it would have been filled with the jelly like a normal jelly filled doughnut but instead they sliced it open and added jelly to it like a sandwich and drizzled raspberry jelly over it as well.
