I initially got it because curry chicken sandwiches always have a sweet element and most places do raisins or apples. Here, they did peach, and I was like, 'damn. I want to try this.' But when I bit into it, the star of the freaking show was the peppercini!! What!??! That vinegary balance with a tiny kick. Mmmm, yeah. Super good that I ate way too much in one sitting.

I did find the meatball side to be simultaneously too salty and too sweet, even though you would figure these would cancel out. I did enjoy the looseness of the actual meatball, and the crispy shallots on top were a wonderful addition. Would love to revisit, would be a perfect pit stop for any picnic or lunch occasion.

I understand I had already placed my order, but it would have been pretty simple to refund it and recharge me for the combo. It felt like he just didn't want to take the extra step. That's where Shootz missed the mark for me. The food was good not great, but when you're already charging a premium for relatively very small portions of Hawaiian food, good customer service makes a difference. Customer service in Hawaii makes you feel like family, Shootz made me feel like I was eating at a drive thru.

I'm honestly devastated. After all these years, this place has so many memories for me, and it's…read morehard to see some of the best items taken off the menu. I completely understand wanting to revamp things and try something new, but I really hope they don't lose the roots that made this place special. For me, the tacos and drinks were a huge part of why we kept coming back year after year. Those were the things that made it feel familiar and worth returning to. I truly hope they find a way to bring some of those favorites back, because after so many years of coming here, I don't think I'll be coming back again if the things that made this place special are gone. It's disappointing to say that about somewhere that has been part of so many memories.

This was by far the worst service I've ever gotten in my life I was in the drive-through and there was a packed line I couldn't drive all the way up to the speaker because of the cars in front of me I heard her say hello how can I help you but I couldn't see the menu so I couldn't even say anything she came pretty nice I said can't you hear me hello I'm talking to you I asked her not to talk to me like that because that was not nice and she kept arguing back-and-forth when I put up to get my food even though I should've just drove away she told me with attitude how many sugars you want and when I said four please she just gave me one and when I said four I said please she said don't get attitude with me then I went home and had a stomach ache headache feel like I had food poisoning this is by far the worst service I've ever gotten from any restaurant I do not recommend this please read more

The female owner is a racist! My mom asked to add something onto our order and she said she couldn't add anything because my mom had an accent, my mother speaks English fluently. We then pulled forward in the drive through and asked her again if we could add another item. She started screaming at my mother trying to speak Spanish to her when we are clearly speaking to her in English. I asked to speak to someone else, and as I pointed for someone else to help me she closed the window and smashed my hand really hard! She opened the window again and spit at me!!! I thought i would write a quick review on my favorite restaurant since i have been eating there since i was a kid. They have the best char broiled Cheeseburgers, Pastrami, Patty melt and chili cheese fries. I go to Douglas's for my lunch break every day. I also take my family there at least once a week because we will have fresh and tasty meal every time without having to spend much money. The place is always very clean and the waitresses are help full. They usually come over to our table to see if everything is fine or if we need anything. The food tastes great every time and the portions are always more than enough so i will order what ever i want without having to reorder. read more

I've been coming here for more than 20 years and its always been a great place to eat. The chili cheese fries are about the best I've ever had anywhere. Their chili rivals that you get at Tommy's by a mile. I am a huge fan of the Pastrami sandwich's they do here as well and my wife loves their fried zucchini. Good prices and you get a more than generous portion for the price. The same family has been running this joint for years and their efforts really show. Don't let the faded paint fool you. I stopped by Douglas on my way home, just 2.5 miles out of the way, hoping to enjoy a pastrami sandwich after a long time without one. Unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The pastrami had no flavor and the texture was as if it had been sitting in water. To make matters worse, the bun was soggy and fell apart, making the whole sandwich practically inedible. My son and I stopped by the drive through, today, I never go there, but decided to try it,and so I ordered zucchini fries, I have to say I've tried different fast food hamburger joints but this place was the worst, the zucchini did not have any flavor , and it tasted like old cooking oil, and to top it off I didn't get any ranch dressing with my order. The Parmesan fries lacked flavor and the bacon/cheese fries were just sad. It felt like the just microwaved velvetta on top. Luckily the guy at the register disrupted my registration process because I will not be coming back. If you want plain burgers you're better off going to BK or McDonalds down the street.

Got lunch for some coworkers and myself and our total came out to $47 and some change. We ordered a: turkey avocado sandwich, 1 beef bibambap bowl, and 2 fish tacos a la carte. Averages to about $15/person - solid, especially for the quality. I can't vouch for the sandwich or tacos as I did not personally try them (thanks for sharing guys, /s) but I will say the bibambap bowl was a massive hit for me. Thing was enormous. I lift weights (slight flex on y'all) but means my appetite is a little higher than average. I still managed to get two meals out of the bowl. It was jam packed with veggies, an egg, beef, all on a bed of rice. Whole thing was beautifully seasoned you wouldn't even know you're eating mostly vegetables. I added jalapeños to mine - and it goes great, nice little kick to the whole dish. Only sucky thing is that this dish is only available on Wednesdays - but I suppose that adds to the appeal slightly as it's worth the wait. Also makes for a nice treat if you're like me and don't like eating out too often. I'm really glad I finally got to try bibambap - and happy to report my first experience with it highly exceeded expectations and I was incredibly happy with the quality, quantity, and overall flavor of the bowl. Also came with a side of miso soup - my favorite! Had tons of tofu so I was super full after lunch and had leftovers as I was unable to finish the bibambap bowl entirely. Interior was clean and spacious. Service was smooth - ordered ahead, then just paid at the front. Overall, great experience and look forward to trying more from the diverse menu. Second time was just as good as the first time. This was also probably the first time I've ever gone out of my way to order a sandwich knowing full well that I could order something else in the menu. I'm usually not a sandwich guy. The bread was crunchy, the cheese was cheesy, bacon doing its thing, and the grilled turkey had no business of being that good. If I had an infinite amount of money, I'd probably just be ordering that for lunch everyday until I throw up and order something else. Most of the time I only see one person behind the counter, whom I assume is the business owner. That man is handling business like there's no tomorrow. He'll be answering phones, taking orders, making order, and serving the orders all at once. Give the man his roses!

I have been eating there since for several reasons : #1-Personal / Staff Right from the start as I walk in I get a hello or good morning and when I leave , a thank you and see you again. I like to support the businesses in my area, especially the ones that nice and friendly #2-Food I am a creature of habit and when I enjoy a breakfast burrito or a hamburger combo , I stick to those.
