    Bbq chicken breast sandwich

Was in the area, made a visit and happy to see the same folks running the restaurant after all these years. Ordered my favorite: Chicken breast sandwich with lettuce, tomatos, pickles, onions, bbq sauce. Serves fresh off the grill and it's big! Will keep coming back

Douglas has been there for many years but lately they're not fulfilling my food orders correct.

    Drive thru menu.

Our favorite go to! We got the onion rings, French fries, tuna melt, and triple cheeseburger - sooo delicious, it hits the spot every time! Everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff is always super cool, friendly, and always welcoming.

    Onion rings and fries

Highly disappointed, my fries tasted so nasty you could taste the nasty oil flavor and the onion rings had a nasty flavor as well on top of them being burnt. I've been going here for about ten years and now they lack customer service and their fast food just gets worse. I do not recommend going here, try Olli Bella around the street or any other burger place.

They were running a deal on fries and drink i couldn't pass it up. Its your standard cheeseburger with a twist, it's a sourdough bread with parmesan crust. It was fresh and delicious and they cut it so me and my spouse could share. Chili cheese fries, they nailed it. Cheesy and perfectly fried fries. Probably my favorite, although heavy (murica). The decor really brings you back to the 50's, even though I wasn't around yet. Issa vibe. Plenty of parking. I would come back again if people are visiting!

One of my favorite things is that they make their own sodas. It's a fun little touch that makes the place feel different from your typical burger spot. If you decide to eat inside, the whole restaurant has a cool retro vibe, and even the servers stay in character with the theme. It makes the experience feel a little more special than just grabbing a quick meal. If you're there in the morning, do yourself a favor and order a breakfast burrito. Pair it with their salsa and it's honestly one of my favorite breakfasts around. We've also had their burgers and sandwiches several times, and they've never disappointed. It really just depends on what you're craving that day. Some places are fun the first time. This is one of those places that's just as good on the fifth visit as it was on the first, and that's why we keep coming back.

At this new joint- and boy was I glad and full after I enjoyed a classic American burger. My sister had the Argentine burger and my brother had the Irish burger. Deeeelicious. Absolutely amazing. When I first came in I asked to use the restroom because I was with my 7yr old and she was about to pee her pants. The guy just looked at me and was going to say no but then he processed what I had asked and he said yeah but gave me a look. I told him I was going to order but my kid needed the restroom first and he then told me where the bathroom was. When we came out I went to the register and the guy came up and just stood there. I then told him it was my first time and looked at the menu. I then asked him if there was a favorite burger and he quickly said "argentine" and just stood there again. He took my order and honestly it seemed like he was checked out or zoning out consistently. The order then took 20 mins to complete and it was To Go. I also was hearing as the lady cooking the food was just slapping the burgers on the counter as she finished them, without any care or decency. When I looked at my order I saw the fries were just in small paper boats covered with another paper boat, not something I expected for $6-7 for fries but I digress. First off, I got 3 burgers and 2 fries plus 2 Brazilian lemonades. While I was paying the screen gave me the option to enter my phone number and register to save points, well I wasn't even done registering when the cashier just processed the order and asked me to pay. I told him I was trying to register my phone and if he could get the option up again and he said no I can't. So he just said I had to pay for it and that he was sorry I couldn't get the points. This was extremely rude and felt rushed. I was the only person there ordering too and I told him it was my first time being there so I didn't appreciate the fact that he did that and didn't offer to fix the issue. Secondly, the lemonade was disgustingly bitter. It was gross and I had to throw both out. It tasted like they had blended overripe limes into the drink and they didn't even bother to see that the limes had gone bad. The burgers themselves were honestly average even with all the different flavors or toppings. I got the Nashville, Guadalajara and the Argentine burgers and they all tasted the same. Nothing special and actually tasted quite flavorless. The only difference was that the Guadalajara bun was soggy due to the juices that leaked to the bottom and it tasted mainly like cilantro. The Nashville burger tasted like bacon and that's it. Nothing special. The Argentine one had some flavor in the arugula/chimchurri sauce but aside from that again, the patty was bland. The Parmesan fries lacked flavor and the bacon/cheese fries were just sad. It felt like the just microwaved velvetta on top. Luckily the guy at the register disrupted my registration process because I will not be coming back. If you want plain burgers you're better off going to BK or McDonalds down the street.

On the other hand, they serve up a heaping plate of inconsistency. Three different items from their already small menu weren't available. No Al Pastor? Multiple beers tapped out? And this was early in the evening, not closing time. It made me wonder: supply chain problem, or did they just forget to go shopping? With only one server and one cook on duty, the whole place had a vibe of "we're trying, but please don't look too closely." Service was friendly, but the overall atmosphere felt a little uncomfortable, like something was just... off. As for the food: the Pumba tacos were excellent, the Gobernator shrimp taco was also good, and then there was the "side salad." Calling it a salad feels generous. It looked like someone raided the burger garnish tray and charged me $8 for it. Full iceberg leaves, a few tomato slices, a browning avocado, and purple onion just sat there staring at me, daring me to fight it. It was such a disaster I almost had to set up a GoFundMe page for it. The space itself is modern and vibrant, and the menu ideas are creative -- if only you can actually order them. Unfortunately, the potential doesn't outweigh the frustration. We won't be back.

The charred cheese paired with the grilled meat creates a lot of flavor and gives the burger a unique twist. Unfortunately, the overwhelming saltiness completely overshadowed everything else for me. That said, there were several things I did enjoy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated the variety of drink options. The Strawberry Watermelon drink was my favorite. I also liked that they offer multiple dipping sauces for both the fries and burgers. My husband absolutely loved the fries and couldn't get enough of the chipotle sauce. I personally preferred the garlic aioli, and the creamy jalapeño sauce was surprisingly delicious as well--though a little too spicy for me to enjoy more than a taste. Despite my issue with the seasoning, I wouldn't write this place off. I think the burger could be really good with less salt, so we'll probably give it another try and ask if they can go lighter on the seasoning next time.

I was pleasantly greeted by ALEX, who when I told him this was my first time he began to show me the menu, as well as make recommendations! The menu is full of dishes for the whole family, even the pickiest of eaters can find plenty to choose from! The ambiance was reminiscent of an old school diner, cool decor and a very mellow atmosphere! I ordered a double cheese burger combo, an avocado cheese burger with fried zucchini, WOW JUST WOW! Everything was perfect, I even ordered a chocolate shake that was super delicious and the ultimate finish to the meal! Yesterday, I returned to mikes for a late lunch. This time I had a difficult time deciding what I wanted, and let me tell you ALEX and this woman who I think was one of his assistants helped me decide. This red carpet of service that they show at Mike's makes me only want to come here when I'm eating out! This time I went with the asada fries, and a California burger (lettuce wrapped). I can go on and on, but I highly recommend you bring the family down and enjoy for yourself! THANKS MIKE'S & CREW!
