I was just there to have my front rim and bent tie rod replaced on my semi new 2025 Genesis. To not hit a dog I turned away from it and slid into the curb and damaged my rim and bent the tie rod. Killian did a great job, but Genesis was faulty on the tie rod. They sent the wrong part due to a wrong part number that they acknowledged. All in all was a great experience, and they did not charge for their loaner car.

I looked up to find out more about my van, and after talking to a friend about it he suggested taking it to Landmark in Roswell, (even though I live opposite side of town) and he would talk with them. My friend had 3 vehicles that he sent to Landmark and was happy with them. My Toyota van was drivable so I left it on a Sunday (they have a drop box for keys) and spoke with Dennis on Monday As it turned out, I had a seal that was leaking and did not need a new transmission as mine was sound. Seems the AAmco chains are prone to upcharge a lot (especially if one is a woman) but Landmark fixed the problem within 2 days. I am very happy with Landmark and Dennis and would recommend them if one has a problem with their trans. He is patient with people asking questions and is not condescending as some techs can be. Price is in line with the work and one does not feel they have been overcharged. Ammaco it seems does not have a good reputation going by what I have found out online. Mechanical repairs because of the what is in cars/vans/trucks is more complicated nowadays so it is a benefit when one can find a shop that is overall customer friendly.

I called, they were very friendly, got out to tow my truck quickly (the driver was exceptionally quick and also very friendly). 4 days for repairs at a bit over $1,000, cool. I pick it up, the brake pedal pressure is significantly different; the brakes don't engage until the pedal is at the floor. I assume the hydraulic pressure hasn't evened out, I drive it low speed for several miles, pumping the brakes. No change. I call again, and am offered a free repair, bring it in ASAP, we'll fix it. Cool, thanks. I know you're booked, and it's pretty easy to let an it bubble slip in. I bring it in, they get to it right away. 30 minutes later, they tell me it's ready, I test the brakes. No change. I let the guy know, he gets angry with me because he "just fixed it". You said you fixed it. it's not fixed. I go inside and let them know I'd like my money back, minus the cost of parta. They argue with me, I relent and let them try again. 20 minutes later, significant improvement, but not pre-failure status. I tell them that. They tell me they can bleed it again, they're explaining to me that my brakes I had failed (I was a HEO for over 5 years, I know how brakes work, thanks). I told him us talking likely wasn't going to settle it, and that I'd dispute the charge (minus parts) with my company, and sorry we had to have a rough morning. because I wanted to give them a fair shake, (I came in slightly irritated because I had to drive into Atlanta metro on nonexistent brakes before bringing it back to the shop) I had my daughter drive my truck around. She noted the pedal pressure is significantly spongier than before, but she also says "I don't think it's dangerous or anything, it's just not close to how it was". I'm not going to dispute the charges, but I will wonder why it took 3 trips, an argument, and a third-party confirming the repair was "acceptable" but not to the pre-failure state. I will not be returnin, and I will not encourage people I know to go there.

Background: I went to Signature Total Care Care due to all the great reviews. I unfortunately did not receive "5 star" service in my 2 years using their service. My first issue with Signature was having my blower motor fail and having it replaced by Signature. The blower motor they replaced it with stopped working after 2 months. They made me pay in full for another blower motor Second issue was bringing my car in for an oil change and having them return my car to me with a broken daytime running lamp. I returned my car back to them and they quoted me for a $300 fix. They also told me that it was not a big deal and could fix it at a later date and would not get pulled over for a broken daytime running lamp. But I had no issue prior with those lights prior to bringing it to them. My third issue was an oil leak. I had lots of questions and concerns due to my previous experiences with Signature. I 100% admit that they were correct in their assessment of the situation now... But it was not Signature who were the ones to convince me that I was in the wrong. Instead of explaining to me and showing me why I was wrong I was told that they didn't want customers like me using their business. So I will not use their business. I really hope that if you chose this business that your experience is better than mine. But in my personal experience, I would maybe use Signature for a quick fix, but certainly not as a long time shop.
