Went there today, food was great so was the coffee. The problem is the service no one sat us down until about 10 minutes of standing and not knowing wether we sit anywhere or wait to be seated. Then another 10 minutes to get asked if we want anything to drink at that time we were ready to order so we did. It took about 25 minutes to get our drinks and get our food. However, i did notice that the kitchen had them sitting on the counter for while and the person preparing the food was ringing the bell multiple times and no one picked it up. Food tasted great, but I had to ask to be checked out about 3 times and took a total of 25 minutes. I was in a rush to leave because toddlers only have a certain amount of time to behave I liked the food but it sucked that the service was terrible. The owners even surprised us with a plate of chilaquiles on the house, and let's just say we didn't leave a single bite behind. For our meals, I had the soy chorizo skillet, which was packed with flavor, while my wife enjoyed the brioche French toast plate, which was perfectly fluffy and delicious. And whatever you order, do yourself a favor and get a side of their Peruvian salsa--it's incredible! This place is a gem, and I really hope it sticks around. I had an amazing experience at Dova Café! I tried the skillet chilaquiles, one with carnitas and one with chorizo and red sauce and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. I also sampled a few of their coffees, including the iced Nutella coffee, the brown sugar latte, and the horchata coffee. Every single drink was fantastic! I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Sandra, who was incredibly warm and personable. You can tell she really cares about her café and the people who walk through the door. The atmosphere itself is beautiful inviting, cozy, and perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. I was just about to leave a review for Dova right now until I a couple of the reviews before this and thought I should speak up before doing so. I was at one of the tables near you and ordered a couple minutes after one of the servers took your order. Anthony, the owner, actually took our order and was genuinely so nice and accommodating towards us, offering us chips and salsa and drinks that were off the menu like the Mexi coco! But besides that I know your table got your food like 5 minutes before I received mine, and I definitely did not wait an hour for my food! More like 15 minutes instead! My food was very hot and fresh as well. I'm not sure why you are lying about what happened... maybe it has something to do with the commotion I heard of you demanding to get all the food for free. read more

If you're looking for coffee that is consistent in quality, food that is thoughtful and well made, and an atmosphere that is warm without trying too hard.... then look no further! The staff are genuine, attentive, and have always made me feel welcomed with every visit. Plus! Their menu has tons to offer.... I recently tried the signature citrus walnut salad with salmon - *chefs kiss*- soooo bomb dude. Dova is my official-unofficial office, hangout spot, and caffeine dealer - all in one.
