I love coming here for a delicious latte on my lunch break. I usually get a Blueberry Latte and they make it perfectly every single time. The interior is also very beautiful.

They have amazing matcha, I got the pumpkin matcha flavored one and it was so good. The aesthetic and vibes of the place are so nice and chill.

Stopped in to grab a matcha and Dova didn't disappoint. I ordered the cinnamon and brown sugar matcha with oat milk. They hand whisk the matcha and I asked for 25% sweetness. It was very good. Tasted like a horchata matcha. My partner ordered the horchata latte w/an extra shot because they only have one drink size. He liked it though. They also sell food, but we didn't eat here. No pet friendly patio, but vegetarian options. The inside is cute and clean too.

When in Ontario, you gotta stop here this place DOVA , is fairly new about a year old. The owners and the staff are so nice and accommodating. As we first walked in my mom was complaining of the heat and I asked them where it was a good spot to sit because she was hot and they understood they actually brought out a fan just for her and put it right there next to her. I thought wow that's so kind of you to do that. The Resturant itself is so cute with the red pinkish flowers throughout and let me tell you they had Sade playing the entire time and really really good music which makes the biggest difference for me in a restaurant. Ambience is everything. They do have vegan options YAY.. which I absolutely love alongside with regular food both delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. Oh, and by the way, they have the best café de olla. The owner's Sandra and Anthony are so humble. They take the time to actually speak to the customers , greet and thank them for their patronage there. I love that I hope this place is here for a long time. I will definitely be going back. So, if you are in Ontario California, come stop by.

The food was okay overall, but a few things could be better. The chilaquiles didn't come with eggs, which was a bit surprising, and there was an extra charge to add them. The kids' pancake, unfortunately, wasn't great, it was thin, dry, and overcooked, and my child didn't want to eat it. I tried it too and agreed it wasn't very good. We ordered hot chocolate, but the first one just tasted like warm milk, so we sent it back. The staff was nice about it, and the second one came out much better. The restaurant had a ton of Halloween decorations, which were fun, but a few were a little too scary for my child and even myself. The staff kindly let us move to a different table, which I really appreciated. Prices felt a bit high for what we got. I get that it's a small café, but the food quality didn't quite match the cost. We went on a Saturday morning, right when they opened and they were still cleaning the floors and windows. It smelled heavily like PineSol in the restaurant. The smells went away eventually but we were thinking of leaving from the strong smell, as they were mopping right in front of our table as well. Overall, I think this place has potential, if they improve the food, adjust the pricing a little, and tone down the decor, it could be a really nice spot.

Had this spot on my places to visit for a while and I'm glad we finally had a chance to go. The salsa verde chilaquiles skillet with carnitas, oh my goodness sooooo good! Definitely had a nice spicy kick, portions were pretty big. My husband got the fajitas skillet, he thought my chilaquiles skillet had more flavor. My daughter got the kids pancake plate, portion was actually pretty big and we stole a bit Of the pancakes (they were so good) I wouldn't mind getting the pancakes myself next time. Lattes were definitely on the sweet side but they had just run out of cold brew. Excited to Come back soon and try other things on the menu.

The aesthetics are EVERYTHING !!!! Such a cute little brunch spot in ontario, came in on a Saturday party of three, got seated right away. Service was great ! Got to meet the owners, who were a brother and sister. Just starting a business. The brother was the one who designed the interior which was so cute !!! Honestly love it !!! The drinks were great ! Loved how strong it was! Not too sweet !! I just feel like they should elevate their food a little more. The potatoes were more on the softer side. The pricing was decent but expected more from the food. Definitely coming back !!! Must try spot in the IE !!

After almost a year, I decided to try this place out again. Guess what, the wait time to get our food did not change. Last time, we left without getting our food, this time we decided to sit it out. 45 mins later and I still don't go have my food. Here's what gets me, there are 5 front of the house employees, so if the kitchen is short staffed that should've been expressed to us as we were seated. I don't know why I decided to try again. Regardless of the taste of the food, I would not be back. This is unacceptable. I'm thoroughly disappointed yet again. I'll be posting the receipt later since the business owner doesn't believe I was there.

I visited for a second time, hoping to enjoy the food as much as I did on my first visit, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food didn't taste anything like before (I'm convinced there was a different chef), and the service was poor. Although the restaurant wasn't busy, it took a while for the staff to seat us, and they ended up bringing the wrong orders while forgetting items we asked for. The omelet my friend received was the strangest I've seen--very thin and made entirely of egg whites--and according to my friend, it didn't taste great. My eggs Benedict was also incorrect, and when we both ordered the café horchata, they arrived cold and tasted completely different from each other. (Forgot to take pics for reference) One thing I do appreciate is that they removed both dishes from our bill due to the issues, though we were still charged for the horchata. I really wanted to like this place, but sadly, I won't be returning.

First off this place adds a little beauty to Holt Ave, a place that needs that. My wife and I finally decided to have breakfast here and the inside of the cafe is a great atmosphere. This place is like any cafe where you can order to go by directly walking to the counter or self seating if you want to dine in. We ordered the chicken and waffles, the horchata latte (iced), the Nutella latte (iced) 10/10! We ended up devouring the plate before we even thought to write a review or take a picture. But hey, that's a good thing! Amazing staff and cooks! 10/10 service! Be kind and kindness comes to you!

Hubby and I were in the area and needed some food and found this spot and omg am so glad we went in! Parking is scarce but we found a spot. We had my maltipoo with us and we're gonna order to go but they graciously allowed us to bring her in and I am so grateful! My furbaby is 10 yo and fell asleep:) and we were overwhelmed with the menu but asked and got some recommendations and they hit the spot! Hubs got the French toast and loved it! I got the chilaquiles verdes and they were delicious! Am now obsessed with their cafe de olla! Will definitely be back!!

Visited on a weekday morning right when they opened. Server informed us about items they did not have in that day one was avocado and cold brew which was what I was going to order. She was very friendly and attentive. The food looked much better than it tasted. The eggs didn't taste as fresh and almost watery. The French toast looked amazing but just felt like it needed something. The coffee was pretty good had a caramelita and a matcha but the matcha wasn't the best. The restaurant itself had such a cool and relaxing vibe I could see myself coming for a coffee and side.

The food was pretty good, we did wait for our flavored lemonades to come for about 20 minutes. They tasted like Minute Maid. Took about 45 minutes for our food and it seemed like there was only one waiter for all 12-15 tables. read more

Nice spot, but definitely not prepared for the surge in popularity. I originally discovered this place on another platform, but wanted to share my experience here too. We waited about an hour just to be seated, and once we were finally at our table, it took another 15-20 minutes before anyone took our order. From there, it was another full hour before our food arrived. Unfortunately, my friend's order was wrong, and it took an additional 40 minutes to correct it. The service was disappointing--slow and inattentive--and the food was just average. Overall, not worth the wait. Very disappointed. read more

I just went to the Cafe today. The guy who helped us just said you can go sit down in the booth over there, as we're walking to the booth he goes "do u see that both in the back yeah that one." As we say down we didn't get our menus until 10-15 minutes sitting there. The workers kept looking at us and still no menu. They're so unorganized and take long. read more

This is the kind of restaurant that makes you fell right at home. From the moment I entered I felt welcomed and appreciated. I ordered a cafe de jolla and it was Amazing. The customer service is very mediocre no enthusiasm the food is really not worth the price. My coffee tasted like dirt not to mention my plate was a little dirty which grossed me out. I had talked to the manager I think his name was Tony and he completely disregarded my complains. It makes me sad to see how restaurants are run and the lack of empathy of when serving customers. Maybe consider re training your employees. Do better dova!!! read more

The drinks were really good, which is why I'm giving it two stars (I would come back for the drinks). My boyfriend and I ordered the strawberry matcha and the horchata latte and both liked them a lot. The food is where this experience went downhill bad. I ordered the Dutch baby and my boyfriend ordered the pancake delight. When he got his food, it was not warm at all, as if it had been sitting for a while. He said that the pancakes were dry too and tasted like school pancakes. As for my Dutch baby, the menu and photos of the restaurant made it look completely different than what got delivered. The menu says there is nuts and whipped cream, and that was completely missing. The Dutch baby was runny and tasted like gelatin. Maybe I'm just not supposed to try new things I've never gotten before, but I took one bite and could barely swallow it. Paid $60 to only enjoy two drinks. Disappointing to say the least. read more

Very stylish cafe in downtown Ontario. Love the overall look of the interior. And the food is great! We had the Ontario Benny, nice twist on a Benedict with caramelized onions, bacon, and spinach. The hollandaise was excellent. We also had the Cuban sandwich. Very tasty and everything you would want in each bite. But the Dutch baby stole the show. Upon entry, the ambience was beautiful and welcoming. They are in their soft opening so everything is brand new. The staff were really sweet and attending to our table. We tried their French Toast and Chicken and Waffles and it was really good! They have a honey butter that went really well with the French toast and waffles. We also had their lattes and the best one, hands down was the Signature Dova Cinnamon Latte. It's not on their official menu yet but it was brought out by one of the owners. We also got to try the Dutch Baby. It's brought out in a hot skillet and it reminded me of a funnel cake. Really yummy! We highly recommend this spot and will definitely be coming back! read more

This is the most beautifully decorated cafe! Total upscale DTLA vibe! Our waiter Dominic was amazing! He provided excellent service and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed! The food was DELICIOUS! The Mediterranean omelette was out of this world. The Avocado toast was to die for and the coffee was made to PERFECTION! Tony came out to welcome us to the cafe and made sure our time there was a memorable one! You guys really out did yourself here!!! Exceptional service with amazing food! They wait was long the food was ok. The cafe de olla was not it that is not cafe de olla there is no way to make your own spin on a classic it was not it. Very disorganized. I did see the owner walking around but not helping total chaos. Yes Tik-Tok fame can be good and bad, get more qualified employees as the owner help don't just tell them what to do. read more

Chicken pesto: had no pesto, I had asked the server if the pesto was a spread vs chicken flavored with pesto or something because i was confused on why I just got a chicken and cheese panini, and they told me it should be a spread. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, but a panini pressed chicken and cheese is baseline good. Turkey Swiss: had no arugula, and I mean not a huge deal but if its unavailable it should be expressed or at least changed on the menu? Again not a bad sandwich but it was just a turkey Swiss panini with not much else so I'm not sure if i would want to pay $10+ for it. I want to try their matcha but I'm debating if its worth to gamble seeing if it's going to be good matcha or just a sweet drink. Nothing wrong with a sweet treat, but more a personal preference if I'm looking for a quality coffee/ matcha.

I usually always get the flan creme brûlée matcha or latte and my wife gets the sea salt caramel hojicha. We can never try other drinks because our original drink is always so good and we've been here at least 15 times. Come and try this place, you won't regret it. Customer service is always fantastic as well and environment is great. Sometimes there's issues with parking but you'll find a spot and it's worth it.

Only one little round table indoors with some plants for sale and a little bit of merch like candles, whisk for your Matcha, stickers, etc.. There are 3 sets of tables/chairs outdoors to enjoy your treats the person that I spoke to, Lily is a very sweet and kind young lady who answered all my questions I was able to make the decision to finally buy a whisk for my Matcha and she gave me pointers on how to use it. The traditional whisk is made with bamboo, but it's not well utilized commercially because it tends to break off. I chose that one considering I'm only making the Matcha for myself. They use a whisk made with resin in the shop. My Vanilla Bean Dream was so delicious! I opted for Matcha versus coffee as the base, rich, deep and earthy not too sweet. It was the perfect drink for today. Street only parking available from what I gathered. I wish this shop was closer to me then I would frequent it at least once or twice a week. Loved this visit so much.

The interior also is so... bare... and looks like they didn't even attempt to try to make the coffeeshop seem or feel cozy and inviting. It's been a while since I've felt like I should have just spent my money on the nearby Starbucks instead of going out of my way to support small businesses.

Not once did she check on our table, ask if we needed anything, offer refills, or make any effort whatsoever to provide even the most basic level of service. We were seated right by the entrance, so there is no chance she somehow forgot we were there. After finishing our meal, we sat waiting for an unreasonable amount of time while continuing to be ignored. Eventually, we had to get up and ask for our check ourselves because apparently that was too much to expect. At that point, it was obvious that nobody working there cared whether we had a good experience or not. I've worked in customer service and understand that places get busy, but this wasn't a matter of being busy, it was a matter of not caring. We were treated as if we didn't exist. If this is the standard of service this restaurant accepts, there are plenty of other places that deserve your money far more than this one. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting even the bare minimum level of customer service. Tacos were good, ill give them that.

Again, it was the first place I was introduced to those slim 3 piece flute straws that make you enjoy more of the tea's flavors. More Chagee's have popped up since then and this is the first one I've been to that was not inside of a mall or shopping center. Very spacious, lots of parking, very aesthetically pleasing inside with the warm lighting, and lots of seats and tables with outlets so people were studying, working on stuff, or just hanging out. Restrooms have a number code and was very clean too. It's opened fairly late at 10 PM which is pretty nice. There's not much out here that can measure up to Chagee time wise and tea wise, so it's fulfilling an ecological niche for this area. You can always order from the front, or you can download the Chagee app and rack up points on that and pick up from the counter. Didn't take too long for my drink to come out, nor did it take too long for my friend's. Out of morbid curiosity, I got something I usually would never get, the CHAGEE Daydream. Awful mistake, not going to lie. Like any other special drink you get at other tea places, you can't make too many customizations or changes (at least not in the app), so you can only get this large and the sweetness is either normal or less sweet. No option to take out the whipped cream, change the amount of caramel drizzle, etc. This drinks is essentially an oolong milk tea and caramel Frappuccino. Sounds like it might be good right? Unfortunately, even at less sweet, it was way sweeter than its Starbucks counterpart. To the point where I couldn't finish it and it's living in our fridge as a sweetener for my brother's black coffee and my friend almost gagged (held back due to the amount of people in the cafe). Like, I get it, maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but a place can truly be an amazing S tier tea place if I can throw a dart on the board, order anything and have it be super good. At least they have a lot of very nice, quality looking merchandise.

Salads are pretty large, could've gotten away with just 1 for the 8 people I was ordering for. Parking - Strip mall-ish parking, so one does not struggle to find a space. Staff - Super friendly and helpful and got my order organized so I could carry it all to the car. Definitely comin back when I'm in the area.

Went there today, food was great so was the coffee. The problem is the service no one sat us down until about 10 minutes of standing and not knowing wether we sit anywhere or wait to be seated. Then another 10 minutes to get asked if we want anything to drink at that time we were ready to order so we did. It took about 25 minutes to get our drinks and get our food. However, i did notice that the kitchen had them sitting on the counter for while and the person preparing the food was ringing the bell multiple times and no one picked it up. Food tasted great, but I had to ask to be checked out about 3 times and took a total of 25 minutes. I was in a rush to leave because toddlers only have a certain amount of time to behave I liked the food but it sucked that the service was terrible. Seems like the staff need more training and better communication to run a restaurant read more

We decided to check out Dova Cafe after hearing it had just opened downtown, and I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is top-notch, and the menu offers a fantastic variety of food and drinks--including great vegan and vegetarian options. The owners even surprised us with a plate of chilaquiles on the house, and let's just say we didn't leave a single bite behind. For our meals, I had the soy chorizo skillet, which was packed with flavor, while my wife enjoyed the brioche French toast plate, which was perfectly fluffy and delicious. And whatever you order, do yourself a favor and get a side of their Peruvian salsa--it's incredible! This place is a gem, and I really hope it sticks around. I had an amazing experience at Dova Café! I tried the skillet chilaquiles, one with carnitas and one with chorizo and red sauce and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. I also sampled a few of their coffees, including the iced Nutella coffee, the brown sugar latte, and the horchata coffee. Every single drink was fantastic! I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Sandra, who was incredibly warm and personable. You can tell she really cares about her café and the people who walk through the door. The atmosphere itself is beautiful inviting, cozy, and perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. I was just about to leave a review for Dova right now until I a couple of the reviews before this and thought I should speak up before doing so. I was at one of the tables near you and ordered a couple minutes after one of the servers took your order. Anthony, the owner, actually took our order and was genuinely so nice and accommodating towards us, offering us chips and salsa and drinks that were off the menu like the Mexi coco! But besides that I know your table got your food like 5 minutes before I received mine, and I definitely did not wait an hour for my food! More like 15 minutes instead! My food was very hot and fresh as well. I'm not sure why you are lying about what happened... maybe it has something to do with the commotion I heard of you demanding to get all the food for free. read more

I just keep coming back! If you're looking for coffee that is consistent in quality, food that is thoughtful and well made, and an atmosphere that is warm without trying too hard.... then look no further! The staff are genuine, attentive, and have always made me feel welcomed with every visit. Plus! Their menu has tons to offer.... I recently tried the signature citrus walnut salad with salmon - *chefs kiss*- soooo bomb dude. Dova is my official-unofficial office, hangout spot, and caffeine dealer - all in one.
