I was helped by Steve Saenz and since this was my first time renting a car I had no idea how the process was.

Just want to say it's all my fault for buying from DriveTime. Just wanted to give an update because…read morea lot of people ask me why I still have this truck. It's been 3 years of on time payments. I bought the truck for $27k, made 36 straight payments on time which adds up to around $27k paid already... and I still owe almost $20k. Meanwhile the truck is falling apart. I looked into refinancing for a lower interest payment, but unfortunately most car loans are front loaded with interest in the first couple years, so refinancing now just restarts the front loaded interest payments. I am finally seeing the principal get paid. Basically I'm stuck unless I dump $10k to get away from this truck and loan. Truck was recently estimated around $10k trade in value, so to get into something else I'd need to come up with around $10k just to get out of being upside down. I understand bad credit loans are expensive no matter where you go. My son died, I completely fell apart mentally for a while, missed payments on my previous vehicle and it got repo'd. Once I finally started functioning again I needed a truck for work and DriveTime got me. Wouldn't even be as bad if the truck was actually in decent shape. I take really good care of my vehicles. This was just one of those "gotcha" situations and I wanted to share it so maybe somebody else doesn't end up in the same spot. Don't get got like me.

Roberto helped me pick from a wide range of great cars with very low miles. The vibe when I walked in was amazing and the consistency of every employee there was definitely infectious. I'm genuinely thankful to Mickey's Car Sales for their outstanding service. I needed to buy a…read morereliable company car for one of my employees, and after visiting a few other dealerships, I found Mickey's to be in a league of their own. Mickey didn't waste my time--he got to work, made calls, and secured a great deal that same day. No excuses, just real effort and results. Now my employee has a dependable vehicle, and our business is running smoothly. Thank you, Mickey, for your dedication and professionalism. If you need a car and want a dealership that truly delivers, Mickey's Car Sales is the place to go.

So, I finally went to Mickey's Car…read moreSales the same place where apparently credit scores vanish, engines explode, and people get "charged $100 a day for breathing." I was ready to witness this chaos live. Guess what? Nothing happened. My credit was checked after I gave permission (wild concept, right?), my contract actually matched what I signed (shocking!), and nobody called the cops on my car. It's crazy how some people forget what a credit application means. You check your credit. You get approved. You sign. You drive. That's literally how buying a car works, not a Netflix thriller. And about the "stolen car" thing? The only thing stolen around here is time spent reading those creative writing projects disguised as reviews. Before I left, the staff double checked my oil and coolant, offered me water, and even helped me set up my Bluetooth. Meanwhile, I didn't see any villains plotting scams in the corner just customers driving off smiling. Mickey himself is 100% real not an AI, not a hologram, not "just a face for the dealership." He's the dude who literally told someone, "Please answer your phone, my assistant will call you RIGHT NOW and give you the address." Who does that? A professional who actually works. So to the future buyers scrolling through these Yelp horror novels relax. You're not entering a scam zone; you're entering a dealership that knows what it's doing. Bring your down payment, your sense of humor, and maybe a popcorn bucket to enjoy the drama from the sidelines. Because the only thing fake here are those reviews.

This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing car-buying experiences I've had…read more I purchased a Mustang from Acceler8 Performance for $30,000, and within one day, I took it to a mechanic to get it checked. What they found was unacceptable for any dealership sale: The front left headlight and turn signal didn't work because it was completely disconnected The EVAP tank had a hole in it and was zip-tied to the vehicle The passenger-side window controls didn't function at all The windshield washer fluid system doesn't even spray--it leaks out instead These are not minor issues. These are basic functionality and safety-related problems that should have been addressed or disclosed before selling the car. On top of that, the salesman skimmed over and downplayed the accident history on the Carfax, which only became clearer after the purchase. When I reached out to them about the major issues (especially the headlight and EVAP system), they initially ghosted me for several days. Then, out of nowhere, their mechanic texted me saying I could bring the car in--after I had already authorized and paid for repairs myself just to make the car usable. They never reimbursed me or took responsibility. Communication completely fell apart once the sale was done, and I also received no real help regarding title updates or follow-up questions. Overall, this experience showed a clear lack of transparency, quality control, and accountability. If you're considering buying from Acceler8 Performance, I would strongly recommend getting an independent inspection beforehand--or better yet, going somewhere else entirely.
